Sonic Mania is, in my books, one of the greatest 2D platformers of all time. It brilliantly captures the speed, precision, and charm of the classic Sonic games while introducing fresh levels, clever design, and a fantastic soundtrack. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the series, Sonic Mania delivers a near-perfect platforming experience that’s both nostalgic and exhilarating.

A genre defining delight from start to end. Simply one of the best, ever. In my lifetime I have always been a huge fan of the 3d platformer. From the likes of Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario Galaxy, and recently Astro-Bot, I have played my share of excellent platformers. I wasn't going into Donkey Kong Bananza with high expectations Luckily for me as the game progressed and i got used to the games open-world digging mechanics and I was hooked. After my growing pains I have enjoyed every second of DK Bananza. I haven't had this much fun playing a video game in awhile. If you own a switch-2 and are reading this to make a decision to buy this game. You don't have to buy this, simply put, you NEED IT. As Mario-64 was to the Nintendo 64, this game is a must play and is a masterpiece in the genre.
