Golf Story9

This game oozes with charm. Great story telling and a wonderful set up with rpg elements to leveling up as well as a point distribution system. Graphics are pretty basic but bright and colorful. While the golf is simple there still is a certain challenge there for all to enjoy.

This game is so fun! I'm 15 hours in and just hit chapter one. There is just so much to distract you from the main story. Love that they have pets you can take along with you and fight. In my first 10 hours of play i only fought for about one hour of that. I was too busy crafting as a Carpenter and exploring the main town and surrounding areas. The game has plenty of charming characters along with eqaually charming dialog. I wasn't sure how much i was going to like this but i can see this game taking me all the way to the release date of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. If you think this is an Animal Crossing rip off you would be wrong as it's only about 10% that. It's mostly an rpg with life sim jobs. You do get to decorate your own home though and that's fun. Lastly, the game seems rather big once you start exploring outside of the main town area and with plenty to do. If you like rpg's and would like to tackle certain jobs this game was mafe for you.

This is coming from someone who doesn't like retro games. My theory has always been what in the past should remain in the past. With that said, something about the way this game looked from the very beginning caught my eye. From the character design to the weapon of choice! Now having played it I can clearly say this is what a great nes game should play like. This is the modern way to do retro gaming imo and I hope everyone else takes notes here and follows suit. Great game that everyone retro or modern gaming fan should try for themselves. This is truly a love letter from a company that loves the Times gone by!

Simple yet deep! Its definitely an rpg but without a story. Battle system works really well and it's loads of fun for all ages. Weapon crafting as well as armor and items. There is a bit of grinding at times but can be fun as it allows you to 3 star some areas and you always get much needed materials. Highly recommend and not your average Angry Birds by any means.

I'm going to start this off by saying if you like Studio Ghibli films then you will love this game! It's absolutely gorgeous and we'll animated! The story is charming and gameplay is different enough to be fresh. My recommendation for anybody with even a remote understanding of rpgs is to select the hard/expert mode. So far I've yet to die on hard mode and don't see that changing. Wonderful experience thus far and a game everyone should at least try out for themselves.

This should not be considered a rhythm game by any means. If you go in thinking that you will come away extremely disappointed!! The rhythm parts are extremely easy and the tunes they use are generic and you won't be humming any of them. Now that that is out of the way this should be considered a narrative style game first and for most. Lots of funny parts and mostly like-able cast. Could do without the audience though. The main problem i've seen so far is even though the grindcast provides most of the enjoyment out of the game , the game doesn't give you a whole lot of time to read it. You can be reading multiple peoples adventures at the same time and you get interrupted quite often while you are doing stuff. If a customer walks in the door while reading, trying to search out a weapon to forge, or looking over requests it will take you out of what your doing to go talk to them. That's my biggest complaint about the game and it's also day based and doesn't tell you when the day is over either. In other-words no game clock. The weapon forge although easy can be deep if you so choose. There is a good variety to choose from. The customer/adventurer will place a order. You will see what they like for a weapon style and the enemy/enemies they will encounter. They will also display the weakness of the enemies and it's your job to craft a weapon as powerful as you can to help them defeat the monsters and come back with you weapon and money. They will also find various materials to craft with to add to making the weapons even stronger ie a special attack like thunder will be added. There really isn't much more to it then that. The last weapon i crafted was a baseball bat. Wonder where they got the inspiration for that one lol! Bottom line is if you're a rpg fan you will like it. If you're not sure it's for you then wait for a sale and minimize the risk. It is repetitive for sure but can be fun if you go in wanting to forge the best weapons to get the adventurers to complete a successful quest.

Don't listen to the reviewers here as they're comparing this to the HD versions. Of course its not going to look as good as those. What we do have here is Zen Studios best effort on the 3ds! Sound quality is top notch and I believe its the best of all the Zen 3d pinball games on the system! To get the best out of it though its needs to be played on the XL. One last thing is currently the leader boards are messing up the game causing the tables to crash. This can be circumvented be turning off the leader boards in the options menu. At the very least the tables can be played till a fix is finally available!

this is by no means an easy game. you will die often in the beginning till you can recruit a team of at least 3 demons. those that can get pass that part are in for a treat as this game had production value written all over it. demons look great and the story thus far is interesting to say the least. if you are new to jrpgs you might want to stay clear of this one as the learning curve is pretty high however the game does do a great jop of explaining everything.

What people need to understand when picking up this game is it needs to be played for an hour or 2 a day. This is the type of game that is rewarding more and more everyday. I love how you slowly unlock stuff day by day instead of just being able to buy whatever you want upfront. I play for hours some times i and i don't even know why but i have fun doing it! Give this game a chance and it could be so rewarding.

Simply amazing!! Nintendo is on a roll now and this here game just oozes with charm! Excellent graphics, great design, and game play to back it all up. This can sell systems and any fan of video games needs to try this one out. I'm also going to take a guess that our 0 review friend doesn't even own a 3ds! I hate trolls.

I never played the retail version of this game but now I wish I had. This is an excellent experience that I wasn't quite expecting. This one ups the retail version in a few ways. Graphics have been slightly enhanced. We also now have cpp support which I would've like to have used but I own the XL version. Without it it still works fine but I can see at time where a second analog would greatly benefit the controls. Add in a survival mode along with online leader boards and that makes this the definitive version. The Star Fox style levels are where the shooting controls aren't quite as good but that's only 25% of the game. If you have the cpp don't even hesitate and dl. All this for only 14.99 is well worth the download.

This series has come a long ways from the first entry on the ds. With the added power of the 3ds we now have a better draw distance in the dungeons as well as visible foes. no longer are forced to run into them to see what we are going to fight. visuals look excellent compared to even the previous entry. this game however is not for the faint of heart as its one of the more challenging games out there! Be prepared to spend upwards of 70+ hours to even get close to the end! With the added casual mode its now accessible to New comers as well as veterans of the series! If anything check out the demo to see if this game's for you!
