One of the best adventure RPGs I have played in the 2010s. the story is very interesting and novel that keeps the player engaged throughout; the gameplay is challenging enough with story mode difficulty available. The skill tree is not that great but still contains powerful upgrades that make the character more powerful. The protagonist, Aloy, is likable despite the voice acting being stiff.Monsters have different parts that serves a function in their attack, e.g. radar, turret, fuel tank etc. Each of these parts has their health and can be destroyed and is weak against one of the damage types in the game. This forces the player to think about different machines and how to attack them, by taking out certain parts **** elements are not there, choices mostly do not make a meaningful difference. Weapon variety is okay though each of them is unique and has different elemental typesThe story is very interesting and has unique novel elements, that it would be a shame if one day it is not turned into a TV show. Love it. Can't wait for tape 2. This might be one of the best Don't Nod studio's games. I like the pace and the atmosphere. I'd say it captures some aspects of the 90s pretty well. The characters are lovable and relatable, especially Swann. Some of the user-critics are saying its too slow, which is weird considering its an artsy story-driven video game, not an arcade FPS... what are you expecting?

Buggy game, inconsistent game mechanics, cryptic change logs, useless tutorial maps that explains nothing about various surfaces, blocks, modifiers etc. The UI is so bad, for instance the key binds does not even describe what the keys do like wtf is action key 1,2,3... Lacks so many features for a "game as a service" model with a yearly subscription of 10€ (std. ed.) & 30€ (club ed.). The thing that really annoyed me & made me bother write this review is that, after paying for standard access, I find out that spectating any ghost is included only in the club addition of the game. And spectating ghosts is a frustrating, buggy mess to begin with, so I'm not paying 30€/year for that. I'm not a serious TM player or anything but spectating best times seems like a core feature that should have been included with standard access or even starter free access, as it is a feature that would mostly cater to new players. The game feels like a very bad mobile freemium scam app, even after paying for std. access.

i played this game for thousands of hours since release. now it may look very dated compared to other rts games but still it was very good for its time, for me its up there with RA, AoE, RoC.

super good game, fast paced, high skill cap, graphics are good, animations are good, so many hero to choose from (102 and more to be port from DotA), some of the heroes are funny with good voice acting and funny lines and have unique and interesting character, all heroes are free, with accessories drops every game end, etc...
