Easily the best survival game I have ever played; there's just nothing else like it. I've always been fascinated by the sea and submarines and habitats and all that good stuff, so it's not surprising when I say that Subnautica lets me experience my dream. Explore, build, survive; that is what Subnautica is about. As you progress through the game, you will venture deeper and deeper into this alien world, discovering secrets.... and giant creatures. Seriously, just play this game. Only problems are occasional annoying bugs (like getting forced into a wall I can't escape, resulting in me drowning and losing stuff) and frame drops, as well as pop-in, but that can be chalked up to my semi-potato. Either way, Subnautica is a fantastic experience unlike any other.

Do not buy. Do not support EA and their vile, voracious, **** tactics.

Yet another crapshoot from developer Ubisoft. At least that's what I said when I played the game at launch. But now, I have started playing again after roughly 5 months of leaving the game untouched, and I can say wow, I no longer have any connection issues. Matchmaking still takes some time, but that would probably be because of the lack of players. I've also had barely any lag! Not sure when these overhaul updates happened, but finally, I can play matches and not be disconnected, and not even lag. The gameplay is here now uninterrupted (at least for me) and I'm able to have a ton of fun. Some of my gripes are still there; the lack of modes, the rather uninteresting characters in the story, the short campaign, and the fact that the gameplay can get old, but now, this has become the kind of game I can pick up every once and awhile and have a blast playing in short bursts.

Absolutely awesome. The kind of sci-fi FPS that comes along every now and then that hits all the right notes and manages to be endlessly entertaining at the same time. This game is fast, fantastically fun, and feels great to play. The mobility is spot on, the story is actually good, and the multiplayer is the kind of rambunctious action chaos that feels great to be a part of. Sliding around, jumping off of buildings, running on walls and shooting people, and calling in your titan to really f*ck **** up. And when your titan gets destroyed, you can eject out, get out your grenade launcher, and let fly at the enemy titan that just destroyed you. Or, land on top of it, steal one of it's batteries, and put it in one of your ally's titans. The game seamlessly transitions between jetpacking around the map shooting guys and throwing grenades to stomping around in a huge robot decimating enemy pilots. And when the action gets to titan-on-titan, get ready for some pulse-pounding action. Even past that, the game still has a great deal of customization and plenty of modes for your playing pleasure. My only gripes are some of the limits in pilot customization where your special ability (L1) determines how you look, and the length of the singe-player campaign. Regardless, this is a fantastic game that I love.

While slow at first, this game quickly expands to show you the true boundaries it is able to push on the PS4. A gripping and compelling story with engrossing characters, and fluid combat system, and a gorgeous open world with hundreds of quests and activities to take part in, this game will leave you hooked for hours.

I originally gave this game an 8. Not sure what I was thinking. It's a lot of fun for the first 10 hours, and after that, I suddenly realized the game's bleakness and stark flaws. My problems arise from some less common issues, but I still am annoyed by all those flaws that other people adressed, like inventory space, and the lies of the devs. Heres what I think. Pros: Cool soundtrack, Nice colour palate, a cool translation system where you have to slowly learn new words to slowly find out what aliens are saying, and a spaceflight system that, while barebones, I rather enjoyed flying around huge planets in a vast universe. Cons: Okay, where to start..... The developers pointed out countless times that this was a game about exploration, and discovering the unknown. Here's the catch: every single **** planet and solar system has already been discovered. Each solar system has a space station, and every planet has spaceships flying around it and bases built on them. It completely defeats the **** purpose. Planetary variation. The planets are criminally similar. Sure, they're different sizes, but there are only two types of planets; planets with a slight majority of hilly terrain, and planets with slightly more water and super shallow oceans. Maybe a few floating rocks here and there. Of course, the biomes and creatures are different, but that gets really old after awhile. Draw distance. It doesn't look like I'm on a **** planet when it's always as foggy a certain distance away as London in the 1950s. You can't see any horizons. Its pathetic; it feels like I'm on some sort of **** test level, not a planet. Space between planets. They're all extremely close together in a solar system, making it unrealistic. Warp drive fuel. To get fuel for your warp drive you have to mine stuff to get stuff to make one thing, then mine some more stuff to make another thing that requires the previous thing, then **** BUY an object from a galactic trade terminal for a hefty amount of units, then mix the thing you bought with the things you previously used, add some other object, and there you have it; one warp drive fuel cell; enough to get to to the next Solar System over. Deadlock. You need to mine resources to charge your multitool. But mining takes power. So you need to mine resources to charge your multitool. But mining takes power. So you need to mine resources to charge your multitool. But mining takes power. God, its a **** closed circle; you can't go anywhere with that. Repetitive Elements. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Mine **** Sell it. Fly around a little, warp to next solar system over, then do it again. Holy hell. Theres plenty of other things I hate about this game that I can't think of right now..... how come I had to spend 80$ on this game while everyone else spent 60$? Is it just because of location? God..... I have to say that I haven't had a SINGLE crash on this game on my PS4, and have only EVER had one or two framerate drops, so, mine performs fine..... but thats still no reason for anybody to waste their money on this piece of trash.

If you like adventure games, this is the game for you. Land on a planet, travel across the surface to find old ruins and secret laboratories, or trek through a cave into the vast underground to find old, ruined outposts, underground cities, underground jungles, graves, and MOAR secret laboratories. A captivating game that will **** you in. It's a bit slow to start, but, if you put time and effort into this game, the payoff will be amazing. THIS is what gamers should play rather than that unfinished repetitive mess that is No Man's Sky.

Why you shouldn't buy this game: It's Cod in space. IN SPACE. Jesus Christ, Cod was bad enough in recent years as it is, but with Infinite Warfare, they have killed the franchise. Any gamer with any self respect would immediately turn away from, rather than buy, a game with Call of Duty in it's title.

Beautiful graphics. And that's it. This game is a QTE simulator, and that is it. Historical accuracy is tossed out the window in favor of the most basic combat system which ends with a QTE which, when completed, will play an animation of you killing the enemy. However, if you don't press the button you are supposed to, about 3-5 seconds later, it still plays the animation of you defeating the enemy. The story is the most basic vengeance plot, and it's littered with plot holes. I hope no one buys this game nowadays. You should avoid it.

Naughty Dog proves themselves as masters of the action adventure genre once again. I would give this game a 9.6 out of ten, but that isn't an option, so I'll just give it a ten. Why Uncharted 4 so good? It's got some of the best gun play and dialogue in the franchise. The combat is refined even more in this outing, and the environments are larger and much more detailed than they ever have been. Uncharted 4 brings in a bigger focus on stealth, and the grapple rope is purely AWESOME. My only minor criticism is the lack of the Uncharted theme, and Nathan Drake having a brother who has never come up in any previous game. But those are very minor, and don't detract from the experience. Uncharted 4 has the best visuals of any of any game ever, the best gun play of any game ever, and the best chase scene of any game ever. Buy this game.

Naughty Dog delivers yet another action-packed adventure of unparalleled proportions. Uncharted 3 isn't as good as Uncharted 2, but is defeated only by a tiny bit. The tight gun play is back. The combat system is now more fluent, and melee combat is more refined. The action set pieces are more crazy and better than ever in this explosive third installment. Uncharted 2 had some better balancing of climbing and combat compared to U3, but don't let that deter you from buying Uncharted 3.

The best game of 2009. No, one of the best games ever made. No, the second best game ever made. Anyone who hasn't played Uncharted 2 needs to stop reading this outdated review and get the game. Why is it so good? It's a thrilling adventure across the globe with some of the best graphics on the PS3, the best performances from big-name voice actors, the best gun play in any game ever, the best action set pieces of any game ever, beautiful vistas that lay below you and around you as you climb impossible cliffs, and a plot line worthy of a Hollywood movie. Buy this game, if you haven't.
