Something I've never seen before. A very real fairy-tale from the streets of my hometown, Oakland CA. If you want to see something a bit different, try it out.

This show compares favorably to the writing and complexity of both the Sopranos and the first season of Westworld. Stunning television in every way. Will be too dark and downer for some, but TV is littered with light hearted wish fulfillment. Only nightmares are fulfilled in Yellowjackets, but it is mind-blowingly great art and a fun watch just to enjoy the skill on screen. I was too afraid of a re watch before Season 3, but was very rewarded.

It's a romp. Silly, funny, with an interesting style and sensibility. The various mysteries were interesting enough and believable enough to be somewhat satisfying. The acting, across the board, was solid and interesting. I don't know what people expect from a dark suspense comedy, but this show delivers a great one. 10/10
