kind of preachy but overall one of the years best. brilliant cast, writing and tone. definitely one of my favorite film's of the year.

i would call this a better fan made movie, but i've seen fan made productions better than this.

the academy award for best costume design goes to

this film has much more screaming and yelling than i remember but none the less still a very underrated found footage movie.

this movie is a bootleg wanted , the matrix, highlander, the old guard and assassin’s creed. this movie is all types of bad. I don't know if the production rushed but this feels like an entire season of a tv show that got cancelled after one season. why wasn't Dylan O'Brien the lead, Mark Wahlberg is horrible in this role.

how did this movie make ninjas, boring? how is that more boring than the first two films

the opening scene of this movie is kind of cringey, they should have gotten a famous singer to make a theme song and had a james bond style title scene, that would have been so cool. it kind of **** that this is the movie they made for her, it feel like they just wanted to introduce new characters into the franchise and they used her film to do so. the action scenes and performances are great but black widow deserves better than this. overall still a pretty good action film. not the beacon of of light for female led films in the MCU but nonetheless still a good addition to the franchise. p.s. taskmaster was a really big let down and ray winston was comically bad. i think he was supposed to be a " men with power " are evil type of character but the message was way to heavy handed.

i need prequels, sequels, spin-offs and an entire expanded Gunpowder Universe. I'm gonna watch this at least two more times ! this movie is gonna make The 355 look bad when it comes out later on in the year, not to put them in competition but this was miles better than Black Widow.

lol I haven't watched this movie seen the VCR / VHS days, I forgot how good this was. Oliver Platt and Brendan Gleeson's characters definitely had something going on.

LOL what the **** what type of indestructible material are these people made out of. I know people mention this all the time but the physics in this one is just out of this world crazy! I'm not gonna lie, I really enjoyed this.

same old or something new? The Matrix Resurrections feels like a Matrix movie for a new generation, with the story elements of the first two films. i understand that the point of the Matrix itself is to be a cycle but do they have to follow most of the same beats? i don't dislike the movie, i just thought it would offer more because of the new concepts they introduced but then i took a step back and realized that most of the things they introduced were just a setup for sequels and possibly spin offs. i do want to see more of the Matrix franchise but i felt this was just kind of disappointing, to long and just a little boring and bland. i like this film but i was hoping for more. the acting was pretty bad and the characters from the previous franchise were either underused or just poorly written and the new villains were all bad, but that's just my opinion. i think the franchise should be handed off to new hands to see what new writers and directors can do with it. maybe a new group of creators can bring new life to the franchise. p.s. the Visual Effects were better than I thought they were going to be and i really want to see more of the new characters because they were the most interesting thing in this film. ↓ point rating ↓ 8.3 out of 12 = 69% ️ acting - 0.6 ️ cinematography - 0.7 ️ costume design - 0.7 ️ directing - 0.6 ️ film editing - 0.6 ️ makeup & hairstyling - 0.7 ️ music - 0.7 ️ production design - 0.8 ️ score - 0.8 ️ sound design - 0.8 ️ visual effects - 0.8 ️ writing - 0.5

this film is Blade Runner meets Inception with a side of Dark City, Lisa Joy had some really good ideas, the the execution was ultimately a failure.

this was way better than i expected, i thought this was gonna be some kind of corny Lifetime romantic thriller but this really surprised me. i don't want to spoil it but if you like Lovecraftian horror this will be a pretty good watch for you.

i was gonna write this off as an okay horror movie, but that twisty switcharoonie at the end had me slack-jawed. overall this was a really interesting concept, but the almost two hour runtime kinda killed the momentum, but still a pretty good movie.

this is one of the most tragic, heartbreaking and disturbing vampire films

It's really time for Clint Eastwood to retire, he's way to old to be doing all this work

The dialogue is really bad and Jamie Lee Curtis is hardly in this film, I had such high hopes for this rebooted trilogy but I'm already let down, i really hope the " LAST " movie will be better.

Dune is such a well made film, Denis Villeneuve is a very imaginative and competent director, but this film felt kind of rushed. it was like he was afraid he wouldn’t get the green light to make sequels so he tried to fit as much as he could into one film. Maybe he wanted to make a trilogy or maybe even 5 movies but the budget is so big that he felt he had to make two films in order to assure that he could complete the story. This film is visually and technically astonishing, but like i said before it’s so rushed and everything is happening so fast that you can’t take a minute to actually focus on what’s going on. If you’re not a fan of the Duniverse or have read the books you will definitely be lost. The screenplay and writing is good but for a film based on a book series with so much material the story is kind of lacking. The film itself truly is a visual wonder, the costumes, art direction, makeup and visual effects are top tier and will definitely be a strong contender for a few Oscars. That being said, I’m really looking forward to seeing this new Dune franchise expanded into more movies and TV shows, with the creative talent behind it, this could rival that of bigger franchises such as Star Wars and other sci-fi properties. p.s. Timothée Chalamet is extremely overrated

this film gets better and better after every viewing. no matter how many times I see it, that ending gets me every time.

trying to review or analyze this movie will turn your brain into soup, what the **** did I just watch. French filmmakers are wild af

i thought this would be a semi horror, artsy creature feature, but this turned out to be a weird family drama. nice reveal at the end and i really like the film but i wanted more horror or just some cool horrific imagery. i ended up laughing more than being disturbed or horrified.

[SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.]

at least the Visual Effects are better

this movie wants to be deep but it's so bland that the themes have no real emotional depth, the atmosphere is good but not enough horror to actually be considered scary. this should have been released on streaming instead of pushing it back multiple times waiting for a theatrical release, i'm very disappointed with this film because it was one of my most anticipated movies of the year and to be honest it really wasn't worth the wait. ↓ point rating ↓ 6.4 out of 12 = 53% ️ acting - 0.6 ️ cinematography - 0.6 ️ costume design - 0.5 ️ directing - 0.5 ️ film editing - 0.5 ️ makeup & hairstyling - 0.7 ️ music - 0.5 ️ production design - 0.5 ️ score - 0.6 ️ sound design - 0.6 ️ visual effects - 0.4 ️ writing - 0.4

it **** that such and good concept is wasted on such a bad movie, the movie gets interesting in the last 10 minutes and by then it was already to late. such a disappointment.

I didn't see a trailer for this at all, and I must say Iwas pleasantly surprised. tom hanks is just outstanding in this film. this is a cross between cast away and mad max: fury road and it's amazing. the CGI is very impressive also, and it might be a contender for the Oscar for Best Visual Effects. I didn't think I would care about this film but this might be one of my favorite films of 2021. ↓ point rating ↓ 8.9 out of 12 = 74% ️ acting - 0.8 ️ cinematography - 0.7 ️ costume design - 0.7 ️ directing - 0.7 ️ film editing - 0.6 ️ makeup & hairstyling - 0.7 ️ music - 0.7 ️ production design - 1.0 ️ score - 0.8 ️ sound design - 0.8 ️ visual effects - 0.8 ️ writing - 0.6

It's weird that this is a Slender Man rip off that's better than the Slender Man movie.

the minute Ben Kingsley is introduced, the movie takes a B!G turn. not to say it's bad. it's just that the first 2 thirds were way better than the last one. ↓ point rating ↓ 8.7 out of 12 = 73% ️ acting - 0.7 ️ cinematography - 0.7 ️ costume design - 0.8 ️ directing - 0.7 ️ film editing - 0.6 ️ makeup & hairstyling - 0.7 ️ music - 0.7 ️ production design - 0.8 ️ score - 0.8 ️ sound design - 0.7 ️ visual effects - 0.8 ️ writing - 0.7
