A buggy mess that was released 6-12 months too early. Such a shame. They released it early for the money and burned our good will at the same time.

Forget that garbage that is the Last of Us 2. This is the end of the PS4 generation and a stunning end it is.

A genuine masterpiece, even though many reviewers overuse that word. This game is one of a kind and one of the best games I have ever played.

An un-optimized mess. I'm sure I could ignore the MTX and I don't care if it's grindy because of the big open world. But the game runs like **** on modern hardware. I'm running a 9000k, gtx 1080ti. This is a very powerful system. I'm struggling to get over 60fps without making the game look awful. FFS, the trees re-render themselves when I zoom in with a weapon. This was released early, buggy and un-optimized.

Do you like running back to your corpse repeatedly? Do you like bullet sponge mobs that waste an entire clip of ammo? Do you like difficulty scaled for group encounters everywhere and you're playing solo because your friends didn't pick up the game? Do you like mobs spawning all around in you a cover based shooter? If your answer to any of these is no, then you should skip this game.

The game makes you trounce back through 5+ screens of enemies just to try the boss again. Which is extremely hard. It's a garbage experience, except for extreme fans of this type of game-play. Avoid it.

This game is amazing for Final Fantasy fans. Although, some of the dialogue is cringe-worthy. The reason I'm giving this a low rating is because they released a broken patch for the PS4 pro that blurs the entire screen. If I'm paying full price on release date I expect a good experience. I had to uninstall the patch to have a reasonable look to the game.

This game needed way more play testing before they released it. Looking back at the game after 12 hours or so of game-play and it looks like a money grab. Some mechanics, such as capturing eidolons is a wonky, badly designed mechanic. The fan service is great and the mechanics. But there are far too few tutorials and many of the quests are not well thought out. Also the frame rate drops super low even without coop on some missions (the 10 dragons mission is the one I experienced this with). Also, I had to dig through setting menus to find the option to turn on the c-stick. You can tell they never put this game through usability testing. (Why would this be off by default?!?!)
