The game has a good start, a very intriguing premise, and impressive graphics. But it all fell shortly after when you actually get to play it. The game design choices are poor, some even nonsensical. They try too hard to mimic and reference other classic games, but every attempt just showcases how poorly executed it is: combat, boss fights, and cinematics are all so clunky and contrast with the high-fidelity graphics. They basically created moments when you feel like you could spend your time better just by playing the original games they are referencing; that's how bad things are. In summary, everything that makes a game "a GAME" is bad here. It's as if Capcom started a new Resident Evil game, focusing on the graphics and environment first, and then went bankrupt and had to wrap it up with asset-flipping mechanics and Fiverr freelancers.
