As the L.A. Weekly put it, ¨The booty here is 100 percent fool's gold." Inadequate for adults & adultescents in general.

A simple story you soon forget. I was surprised over the buzz around this movie, and could not really understand why it got so much credibility. This is a shallow film. Feel good? Not really. Anti intellectual movie, a really simple story about two men in Paris. Things like art, classical music & opera are boring! Drugs, tobacco and soul are good! Come on!

Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut3

I was eventually put off by so many tired, worn cliches - the Neurotic teacher, the Nasty school bully, the Fat Chinese chick, sleazy Mr. Motivator, the Mr & Mrs Average parents, the eccentric old lady. And then the time travel and the convoluted, confused plot trying to lend some scientific credibility to this sorry concoction.

Stupid, glossy trash is a low point in the careers of all involved. Pretentious garbage.

Even if you ignore the fact that Nash's homosexuality was completely ignored, what about his first son who was never mentioned? The one he failed to support financially. What about his strained relationship with his wife? What about the ridiculous and non-factual introduction of his imaginary friends, which are used as a Greek chorus by director Ron Howard because he couldn't move the story along any other way. Badly filmed Hollywood whitewash.

A dreamlike examination of first contact, which gave me an insight into the story and its philosophy by creating an equivalent of schizophrenia. I have found kinda dynamics similar to horror movies, the stillness creating anxiety, the slowness almost bringing fear and the sheer beauty of the imagery causing conflict.

Awful movie - borders on audience abuse. Not only the movie utterly fails in knowing when to cut things off, but it never decides what it wants to be. The humor is a wash between slapstick, big-lipped alligator moments, god-awful prejudice against an assortment of groups, with a bit of witty commentary on the ridiculousness of the stock market and what big **** most buyers are.
