12 players in a race is crazy, especially in 1P mode, considering the lowest placed placed characters get more aggressive items like thunder and blue shells, sometimes the crazy goes race since they didn't fine tune this feature here, many times you'll find yourself about to cross the finish line and someone uses a thunder, you get 2 blue shells, and someone else uses a thunder. it just doesn't work, at least not without some much needed adjusting, because it still follows the numbering from previous games ( places 5 and under get stars, blue shells, bullet bill, thunder, etc ) so there's at least 6 people under 5th place and it becomes really unfair really fast. I'd love to give this a higher grade especially considering how it improved from double dash, but this really keeps me from it, because it makes the game way too frustrating

before the game came out there was a rumor about nintendo releasing DLC for games, and then I kept seeing mario kart 7, and I got really excited with the possibility of extra tracks other than the usual 16, and i was a little let down by the absence of that feature, especially with so many "classic" tracks that either came from mario kart wii, or from the classic track selection from mario kart wii, we expect to see new tracks everytime in 3D, thanks to moves like this, some people will never see their favorite tracks in 3D, because Coconut Mall is more important. the random selecting track when playing online is a joke, there's a 90% chance you'll get tracks like coconut mall, daisy cruise, or 2 others ALL the time, sometimes is so frequent I wonder why didn't they call this coconut mall 7 also a cheap move was making you limited to getting 10 coins max whichever mode you're in, and don't give you coins you get in time trial or vs time trial, the lamest padding to make the game last longer considering you need them badly to unlock new kart parts. but the gameplay is great, and the new gliding feature works really well and can give you a boost if get to use it well, really fun. also they went back to 8 players in a race instead of the crazy 12 from mario kart wii, so that's a plus!

at first this is WOW, it's like a pocket mario galaxy version of the classic mario bros or something, but, after a while playing, you notice, the levels are super short, and they use the exact same level designs sometimes 6 times or more, changing slight details like the placement of a single trap and enemies... super exciting at first, then, slowly gets a bit tiring, especially with the requirements for 100% completion, what's worst is the requirement for getting the shiny 5 stars in your save file, you screw up once and might as well erase your save file and start over, because you lost it, forever. the gameplay is fantastic, but the game is too short to enjoy it fully.

sorry to people who liked it, but this game was a pain to endure, it felt like a filler episode of a show, and there's soooo much padding. the plot is weak, the development of it is weak, and a lot of elements seem to have been thrown into it just to make it more complicated and pad it more. the ending comes rather abruptly, and a lot of plot threads lead nowhere, they are there just to keep you distracted longer. the battle system, while and evolution of the system from the first game, became confusing, you'll find yourself many times mistaking baby mario or luigi for their grown up counterparts in the battle sequences where you have a milisecond to guess which bro is falling. the enemies have no personality or motivation either. all in all, this is just a cheap sequel to get the franchise going, if you can, skip directly to bowser's inside story, there's no plot on this, you are not missing anything at all I'd bet this was co-developed by ghost developer TOSE

simply the best in the mario rpg series. always trying to keep itself fresh and interesting as you play, and succeeding! give it a try! ( the beggining is a little slow, as most rpgs ) don't listen to those negative reviews, they're mostly people trying just to contradict popular opinion, really this is good!

this game is awesome, much funnier than monopoly, I'd say most of the negative reviews are from people who didn't bother getting too deep into it, or were alienated by kotaku, who was treating this game like the anti-christ of gaming and nitpicking on every detail possible to criticize it ( including the phrases on the back of the game box, saying phrases about stocks and such ( refering to in game mechanics ) and telling people it was that nintendo meant this game to be for rich people only. I think this killed some of the potential for this game in the west, this is the first game of the long running japanese series Itadaki street, that exists since the famicom, and it's one of the most amazing ones too, special boards, lots of characters, definitely one of the best in the series. Beware though, the CPU opponents won't take it easy on the player! and playing with friends is a lot funnier, but won't earn you any stamps, currency used to buy in game character customisation gear. if you like REAL board games, check it out! if you're a Mario Party fan, this miiight NOT be the game for you, since it has no mini-games or some of the crazy stuff the mario party series has, but I think you can still have fun if you get into it!

Something that started out as a remake and developed into a wonderful new installment in the zelda franchise. Instead of focusing on battle like the previous installments, this goes back to the series roots and focus on exploration, it turns the game into a really refreshing old school experience! I haven't had this much fun with a Zelda game since the original a Link to the past Worth pointing out there's no annoying sidekick to take you by the hand and lead you from place to place like a babysitter with useless tips and hints. ( the fact that ravio has one tho, makes it seem like link was going to have a fairy at some point ) I just don't give a 10 because sometimes ladder and ramps make it impossible to beat enemies, it may seem like something silly, but you die a lot because of it in hero mode ( which is absurdly hard, btw )

despite the borderline stupid US publicity, the game is not all about fattening, in fact, you can make a muscular character as well, or just leave your character skinny, it doesn't make so much of a difference! This is my favorite wii game and for a reason, it's the best button masher fighting game out there! the training mini-games are part of it and can require some practice until you get them right, they keep the gameplay from getting too repetitive with breaks between tournaments. also as a lot of people pointed out the gameplay is pretty simple, but what you don't hear often is that it's incredibly deep too, it can get very strategic and intense at times! This game is part of the japanese series Tsuppari Oozumou, that has games for NES, SNES and PC ENGINE too, Tsuppari oozumou is known for being a great fun series and comedic as well. I've been playing it for about 4 years whenever I have some free time, and I will keep playing it until a new version comes out, this game is great for chilling. the only Con I have about it is that it's too hard to figure out the secret special finishing moves and Tecmo never released any kind of guide or anything. I'm looking forward to a 3DS port of this game.

I was kinda eager to play this, now I'm a little disappointed, I expected a little more from the free version. it is basically a demo of the game ( literally, you get just a demo of a in-game mini-game ). and Rusty is overly dramatic, I mean it, I think this is pretty bad for kids who will feel pressed to buy the games to make him happy, even I felt like some pressure was being put on me for it, that's playing dirty. but in all fairness the demo of the game he provides is simple, but fun, but the content presented on the free version is very scarce, I think it's not enough to get many people into buying the mini-games. and the mini games are way too simple for the prices they are asking, not to mention there don't seem to be a lot of variation on them.
