A little too predictable, but definitely worth watching. Only found it looking for something free to stream with Garrett Hedlund in it. Without the addition of Mel Gibson I probably would a passed on it. Parts were painful to watch, but I loved the story and depiction of each characters' desperation as well as the power of love and forgiveness.

An excellent movie that told me the story of a woman I had never heard of. Yet in the telling reminded me of many women I have known throughout my life. It also reminded me of many men and amazingly enough some were good, some were bad and some were both. The lessons/messages of Cabrini are too many for me to list. Just as well since everyone receives them differently. That in itself is what I love most about this movie. It didn't force a message, it did the job of telling a story while leaving it up to the viewer to receive the lessons of that story. Had I not checked the time near the end I would have given this movie a 10. It was repetitive and long, but I can't imagine a thing that could have been taken out or shortened.
