This is everything a remaster should be, minus some bugs and minor issues. I'd highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the genre.

There is a good game in here somewhere its just hidden behind terrible performance, underbaked features, bugs galore, balance issues, and an overall simplification of the formula of its predecessors. It strikes me that Paradox spent way too much time developing the graphics when you barely ever look at that level of resolution. Ive spent a decent amount of time playing but wouldn't recommend without some major updates/changes.

Fun game with some issues. Pros: Great atmosphere, music, sound design, fun campaign and decent end game. Cons: Im not ready yet, Im not ready yet... Cooldowns annoying. Skills and itemization could use a major rework. Overly monetized after a high ticket price. Background graphics are great but effects and monsters are somewhat cartoony and lack the visceral feel of d2. Level design is quite linear especially in the campaign and a lot of the open world feels constricted to set paths. Verdict: There's a lot of potential here but its held back by the issues above. Definitely not a game changer or worthy of 8-9/10 but I really don't see this being a 0-4/10 game.
