What can I say? I have been **** into the past 3 battlfields even though I vowed I wouldn't after bf3. Have played battlefield since the beginning, Even shelled out 80 bucks for the "deluxe" edition or whatever which really just DICE's fancy way of polishing a turd. So let's get this over with shall we? Pros- Excellent graphics -Sound Effects -Good albeit short single player Cons- -Historical inaccuracies(look at the weaponry) -Social Justice Warror BS gaming (I am not racist but Black guys on every squad? you have to play the muslim Ottomans? you coudln't have thrown france in there or Austria?) -SLOW and I mean SLOW XP GAIN-let me get on that. It's like Ubi Soft's Rainbow six siege. The idea is to give you the smallest amount of XP possible per match. Why you might ask? So you spend real money(awful micro transactions on XP boosts and other items. I find it appalling that as I looked in the upper right hand corner I see time to next level-2 hours when the matches are at least 25 minutes a piece. -Battle packs-Play over 4 hours of matches to get maybe one battle pack-which you don't even really need **** can scrap the battle packs for in game currency (most of the time it is only worth 30) to buy other items. Or if you have money and want to spend it you can buy the battle packs..hell they even have the short cut packs now which they started in BF3. Now a days EA has the model when 60 bucks doesn't get you the game anymore they want you to spend 150..I got the deluxe edition which gave me two skins a skin for a titan fall and some weapons that i coulda bought in game for 200 currency in **** **** Destroys everything it touches look at Bioware! They won't be getting anymore of my money

Let me start out by saying that I have purchased every battlefield, ever made..Loved bad company..wish they kept bad **** they didnt and for that they are a bunch of **** at EA.. That being said, i honestly thought that they took a huge stupid step releasing this game on origin only and you have to play it from a web browser but that's besides the point. I said i wouldn't get it but it was on sale black friday so i got it. i got the "deluxe" edition, which is **** it says you have the expansion pack "china rising"..what they didn't tell you those no good **** is that "premium customers" get to "unlock the content" two weeks before everyone else..that stung for a **** in the sam hill would i purchase it if that was the case? the deluxe edition no less? all to get your hard earned **** cash thats all it is. the game was released in what, November? rushed to try and beat the call of duty sales(which as much as cod ****, it will never beat call of duty i am sorry i hate to admit, i don't play it but they won't outsell it). I played the game in beta because i own battlefield 3 and when i played the game it was just like the beta. my video drivers are up to **** windows is up to **** is pretty good pc but i still got the error saying my video card wasnt the updated version(which it was) and that i could still run the game but it might crash and not cooperate.. well crash it did..constantly..stuck on the **** loading screen. disconnected from **** i uninstalled and resinstalled it, thinking maybe i had missed **** no. i tried talking to my man hajib over there, the lovely customer service rep and he was dumb as a stone, offered no help just wanted to see a screen shot of my dxdiag. I hate to say **** i am done with the battlefield franchise..i work too hard for my money to be let down. I can't rate this game fully because i didn't enjoy it fully. so the bottom line is if you liked battledfield? stick with the 2nd one, hell if u can stand the web browser and origin even the third **** ea has gotten my money for the last **** the rot on the vine and finally get the same **** in their **** that they have been giving us customers for years

I got the game on the steam summer sale. Was great for the first 3 hours that i played. Tried to save it several times and said i couldnt save it it said the "auto"save would take care of it. Died once-and it was stuck on the saving screen-i guess it had to communicate with U plays stupid effin servers! its my fault. I forgot that you needed uplay to run it and i hate uplay i hate origin i hate that i cant just go out and buy a god damned game and put it in and install it like the old days. anyway, i played six hours, swore i SAVED it several times and guess what? it saved right after the guy dennis rescued me so I lost- -all the i crafted ie;bags, wallets etc -my rife that i spent 1700 bucks for -my compound bow which was awesome i lost it all and now i dont know if i want to go through it all again, it saved none of my progress, lost all the radio towers i took, all the strongholds or whatever.. **** drm ruins everything when the will they learn? never...they never will and I wish something would happen to these assanine companies but it never will..anyway, i gotta give it a **** i could save it and not have to go through the first part 3 times id do it ..but this uplay drm

What can I say about this game? Despite the difficulty of Wargame European Escalation, I liked it. I liked the decks and the campaign. I liked the graphics the maps. Hell, I even liked the multiplayer(though i grew to hate it.) but this is about airland **** on with the show I have played a grand total time of 5 hours compared to the 61 hours of **** probably out of the those 5 hours 4 of those were spent in the beta because i pre ordered. Nothing changed save for the single player was added. I could not complete the tutorials last level because it was too effin difficult(at least for me anyway but hey I admit it.) So when the game was released, I said finally some awesome single player action ill pick and design a deck, sold American. WRONG-They pretty much gave us people who love single-player the ole schlongorino in the keister, as with the case with most games nowadays. Game creators believe we need to social network and interact with other people..which probly 8 outta 10 times other people are ****. You can't save. For some ungodly reason, you can't save. which is The campaign as no tutorial so you are forced to figure out what to do and how to do it. The skrirmish is just i don't know. Nothing has captured me like the first one and kept me going I just stopped caring once i realize i couldn't save and they just want me to play multiplayer with people who are ****. So what do I give this game outta 10? graphics-4 If anything I believe the graphics got worse than the last one. I ran it at the highest settings and even still the graphics seemed a bit blurry and blotchy specially the shadows sound-4 same as the last one Units and the hangar-the hangar is ok i guess but it gets boring. I just am slowly losing my faith in video games. in closing, I can't reccomend it. I haven't played it in over a month and I will probably delete it. I hate to be a negative nancy but whatever it is what it is. If you get it wait till it's on sale, that way you wont shoot yourself in the foot like I did. Courage and honor- Mikey42782

I have to admit I am honestly and totally suprised by this game. For the longest time I couldn't buy it for 2 **** first being **** the second I had to wait for it to go on sale again. And after playing it and beating I have to say, this game is effin awesome. I know nothing about the Darkness universe. But, something about the story of the game. I will just say this much about it without spoiling anything. If you have ever truly ever loved a woman before, you will definitely be to relate to it. So let's get to the review shall we- Story-I thought the story was awesome. Graphics-Amazing. while I must admit there was some slight issues with screen tearing and vertical sync. Other wise then that it was amazing and It was only on medium. It was kinda Borderlands esque textures if you catch my drift. Awesome Voice acting-Awesome. Game play-Awesome. The controls do take some getting used to. I used a 360 controller mind you and i just had to get the hang of using both the guns and the powers. I can't really think of compaints other then the vsync issue and I can't be sure if that was the game or if that was my system. I will be fair and give this game a 9.0 Definitely get it. Is it worth 50 bucks? I got it when it was on sale so, try and get it on sale and if you can't then if you can afford the 50 bucks go for that baby. Good luck and good gaming

**** should give bioware a viking funeral after this abomination. If you are new to the Dragon Age series? maybe you'll enjoy it. If you are fan of the first one? well prepared to be disapointed-extremely. I still play the first one-to this day. Why do i say this? well let's go through some things... 1) it has been completely and utterly dumbed **** has. In the first one, you were completely in charge of what your companions wore, what weapons, etc. In this one? like in mass effect 2? no dice. You get what's called "armor upgrades" for your companions. I used to spend countless hours, just figuring out what armor worked and what didnt, what weapons worked and what didn't. this one? they just want you to keep going. sure you can change what you wear-to an extent. 2)the combat gets utterly repetitive and boring-combat is just that-it's repetitive and boring. don't get me wrong, some of the animations are pretty neat, but they opted the more realistic slow paced combat that was in the first one-which was still and is awesome-to a fast pace get it over with get it done battle, in which you just fight waves upon waves upon waves of enemies until they are dead. 3)copy and paste graphics-there are points after you go through your first dungeon or two you start to notice that things are starting to look the same. yes they do. because they just copied and pasted the effin textures. 4)location-in dragon age one you had a bunch of places to visit, you could get ambushed on the road..this game goes between two phases-night and **** time there are certain missions, night time there are certain **** get this? 3 areas..there's the city of kirkwall, theres outside the city and well i guess 2. the city and outside. the city doesnt even look like a city if you compare it to denerim in the first one. 5)graphics-the darkspawn in the first one looked awesome and realistic-to me anyway. i remember several times in Dragon Age Orgins approaching a bridge and there in front of me stood several darkspawn waiting for my blade. the ones in this? it looks like its a really late ps2 game. 6)sounds-if you play nights of the old republic, not only is the graphics engine the same one from this game but it has the same sound effects minus the lasers.. what's good about it?-i don't know anymore..i can't really think of **** destroyed the dragon age franchise with this one. I still play the first dragon age but i have not been able to get myself to install this game since i beat it last year. so whats my conclusion-its nothing even compared to the first dragon age. it is dumbed down to try and make rpg games like this more mainstream. I think that bioware selling out to EA pretty much wrote their death certificate. I will never..ever purchase another ea game again.thank you

battlefield bad **** awesome franchise..i was a little upset that battlefield 3 got rid of the the squad from the first two, but it is what it is. i was excited for the game. I purposely got it on xbox so i would not have to deal with the horroshow that is origin..origin **** do not care what you say, origin ****.. so i purchased it for pc. i decided **** it, ill be open minded, im usually better at pc shooters than on xbox.. so i installed it..come to find out? origin and battlefield seem to want to totally monopolize your PC. the game is run in get this **** it..A ****ING WEB BROWSER, which constantly gives me script errors..i cant even play single player without loading stupid origin, and running off the web page..a web page for a game can you believe that **** thats the biggest gripe for me **** game play is **** animations, the graphics, great..maybe the recoils a little rough on the weapons because my kill death ratio is garbage but thats neither here nor **** single player feels kinda **** it is what it ****'t do anything about it now..CAVEAT EMPTOUR-let the buyer **** i shoulda bewared it a little bit **** would have gotten at least an **** the web browser killed it

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Knights of the old republic, was groundbreaking for me..i had never even heard of it, and i will never forget the day i saw it in walmart, looked at the box and said to myself? this looks awesome i must have it.. ..and the gods smiled on me for it was awesome. Then Kotor 2 came out..which wasn't nearly as good.. But then years ago i heard a rumor about KOTOR becoming an MMO. I was upset. I didn't want them turning one of my favorite games into a game that all of a sudden now tons of people were going to play who really didnt give a **** nor appreciate the Star Wars universe the way that true fans do. Most of my life people made fun of me for loving Star Wars and being a **** now people play it..anyway so the MMO came out..i was skeptical at first and i purchased it..which brings the first bad point- You have to pay for the subscription when you purchase the **** a 60 dollar game automatically becomes a 75 dollar **** can't install it unless you agree to those terms and set up a subscription. that was my first **** i fought through it. I install the game, cut scenes were pretty bad ass i must say, got me into it..i used to play star wars galaxies and loved it, and they got rid of galaxies FOR THIS...i love being a **** natrually that was my first guy..i wanted to be a half ass han solo, exploring the galaxy, trying to beat the infamous Kessell Run. I'll tell you this much **** you want to be a smuggler?? don't expect to do any smuggling what so ever. The second bad point? the **** pretty much DA2. Same sound effects, same animations save for the blasters. Same faces. And Dragon Age 2 compared to the first was just a botched abortion. Game play is the same as any other MMO..While my subsciption is still active, i have not played the game in almost 2 weeks. I am tired of it. i am tired of the repetitive grinding, i am tired of being on a planet with a lotta players because if they are doing the same quest as me, sometimes i will fight through all the **** to get to the objective, then some **** will come out of stealth, and do it before me, then i have to **** that is a common issue with MMOS i guess..what some people have said on here is **** a single player game with mmo elements...a star wars wow if you will I hate to say this, but i think that EA ruins everything it touches. When Bioware sold out to ea, i ranted and raved and said watch **** bioware is going to go the way of the buffalo. and i seriously think it is going to be. when dragon age 3 comes out i will probly not buy it..i refuse to buy mass effect 3 because of origin. i am going off on a **** you have played star wars galaxies, you know that you got your own ship when you started out..which is **** could get into space combat, deliver cargo, you could spend hours flying anywhere in the **** could also have someone make a new ship for you with a brand new chasis design, upgrade your ship, paint your **** was awesome.. space combat here? sure you can upgrade your ship half **** the space combat is on rails and linear, the missions are just variations of the ones you did at earlier levels. it was a very big dissapointment for me because i was expecting something more along the lines of tie **** 60 bucks? i thought it would.. anyway, the goods to it? the envirornments are pretty cool. Some of the ablities. the voice actings decent, the combat is pretty fluid.. cons? i have a decent rig and sometimes the lag is atrocious. sometimes when i go to get quest it will take me about 5 minutes for the npc to give it to me due to buffering..another con being a smuggler, killing a high level boss and recieving a light saber with dark side affilation which i cannot use at all.. i hate to say this but i do believe i will be cancelling my subscription..

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II

I never knew anything about the Warhammer Universe, until i picked up my copy of Dawn of War, several years ago and i was immediately engrossed. With great eagerness, i picked up this game the day it was released. EDITORS NOTE-All in all, i fear change so my review may be seriously biased but here it goes anyway. DOW 2, is a game that will please you and frustrate you at the same time. To me, it is just company of heroes meets DOW and that aspect bothered me a lot. It took me a while to get over that. Also, the fact that you have to have an internet connection, and you have to get windows live bothered me a lot too. Well, what if someone doesn't have an internet connection. I am sure there are some people out there who still do not. I am lucky enough to have that. For those of you who are huge DOW fans, you might be a tad dissapointed at what is going on in this game. For starters, there are no more base building. You have an galactic map which shows you all the planets that you can travel too. there are three of them in which you are to initiate warp travel to reach. You start out with yourself, the commander, and a tactical squad. Mind you, the squad consists of only 4 space marines. then, as you progress you get other squads, a devestator squad(heavy weapons, 3 space marines), a scout squad,(3) and an assault squad.(3). As for the assault squad well, what can i say about the assault squad? I have had it on missions and he is always usually the first to die. He kinda **** in the first DOW 2. He gets better in Chaos rising. During missions, your squad earns xp, and upon leveling up you can unlock new powers for your squads to use, some of which are pretty bad ass. But it seems to me, you can only have one and not the other, as there is a level cap of 20, so choose the right path you want for your squads, as you will not be able to get those points back. Personally, i stuck with the same for guys more or less the same time, varying upon the different missions parameters, which aren't really that different at all. You are going to either attack or defend, and most defend missions, you will have a time limit to do so, in which if you miss it you have to wait for a later point to go resecure that sector and what was lost. At times, i also do feel very overwhelmed. I know space marines are all powerful to an extent, but sometimes it is just insane. I do believe before the first patch, the weapons were a bit different and did more damage, as i get confused, when a bolter says it only does 11.6 damage per second and my squad which does 9 damage, goes down. I thought higher damage was better, call me crazy. Which includes power weapons. Most power weapons, which although do more damage then a chainsword, do not actually do as much damage on the field, due to their attack speed i am guessing? anyway, all set aside i have fallen asleep during the single player. The same type of missions do tend to get a tad mundane and repetitive, and sometimes the war gear rewards aren't even worth doing it in the first place. But it is a decent campaign. The multiplayer is pretty engrossing, but once again highly modeled upon the COH engine, with holding of victory points, and anniahalte. No base building, so dont even think about that. It is definitely a far cry from the DOW. the army painter i was dissapointed in as well, as it seems to me there is less detail you can do from the first one. the last stand? I don't even know what to say about that. It's as if someone said, no no, we want the game to be harder so they did. It gets repetitive. The leveling up takes too long. DONT EVER PRESTIGE BECAUSE IT **** AND YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING AND GET SOME CRAPPY REWARD. do i reccommend it? if you're new to DOW yeah, you can go in this with a clear head. If you are into DOW? Sure, just be prepared to be let down a bit. Thanks

i don't know what everyone else is saying about great graphics and all. The characters and tanks on my screen look almost god awful. I am glad i got the game on sale because i am going to delete it. The AI behaves funky, not following orders, or wandering. Polish antitank guns take my tanks out from miles away it seems before my guys can even fire on them. The 20 mm cannons on the Panzers really didnt do much. The artillery, is just god awful. I called on it on more then several occasions and i realized it was just a wasted effort. kudos for realism, but garbage for the game play.

Mass Effect 2 is an engrossing an addictive game, but i really feel that they took away some of the best elements to it. The story line is gripping, the characters are awesome, weapons etc. But what happened to customization? What i loved about the first one, was not only the plethora of weapons, armor, omni tools and the like, but the customization you could put into them. For example, a lancer assault rifle, with a damage of 120 could be upgraded to with a combat sensor, kinetic stabalizer , and several different types of ammunition. Every weapon, and each armor at least has 1 or 2 sometimes 3 upgrade slots. I mean granted, there was only a set amount of items you can carry(150 i believe) but thats what was a lot of fun for me in the first one. Now each character, gets to pick an ammo type and have that active on your weapon. The thermal clip is another thing i didn't like in the second one. Call me crazy, but i love unlimited ammo lol. In the first one, there was a lot more points and a lot more attributes to help level up your character, when you leveled up sometimes and most of the time, in the middle of combat. In the second one, you level up at the end of each mission. Those are my cons, i wish they would have kept some of those things. But the rest of the game is solid. From the story line, to the upgrades to the Normandy, to doing endorsements in the citadel. And to be completely fair, i fear change, so my review may not be the best on the spot, but if it helps you make a choice in getting it, i am glad i could help.

I am an avid fan of the Neverwinter Nights game. I thought the first one was awesome, engrossing, and addictive. The second one? I am truly mixed on this, and dissapointed. Where to start? Well, if i don't truly have a high end computer, but it still runs it, albeit the choppy frame rate. I had to tweak down almost everything on my system settings just to get it to run not as choppy. And to be completely honest, it got to the point that i just stopped playing the game because the graphics just didn't look all that well. i am sure if you have a high end baby, that thing would look stunning but not so much on mine. The A.I as previously stated, does have flaws in it, ie; getting stuck on objects, not following combat parameters, and the like. The key reason i stopped playing it, was because of the camera angles. Going into a dungeon, i found it hard to keep track of my party and where they were, and on more then several occasions, i had to switch the view around for almost a minute just to see the loot on the floor that i could pick up. One of my friends, a diehard NWN fan, insisted they were coming out with a patch to fix all the camera foul ups, but i when i installed the game for a second time, i did not see any patch and the camera angles were still terrible. Sound gets a bit tedious, because if you have played the first one, its the same sounds. You figured after x amount of years since the game has been out they could have updated. The soundtrack i liked :) but then again i like weird tunes. CONCLUSION: If you have a high end pc, and its in the bargain bin? Give it a shot. Maybe a better pc would resolve some of the camera issues. But i would still say wait until this baby has some patches which fix the camera
