Avatar: The Last Airbender10
Oct 29, 2024
This is one of the best shows ever made. Avatar showcases complex themes in a way that is both digestible for children and heartfelt for adults. It is rare for a piece of media to strike that balance so perfectly, yet ATLA is just as enjoyable for grown ups as it is for their children. The show matures with its audience, going from a goofier, episodic style in season one to a more mature format in season three. The character arcs across the three seasons are satisfying and incredibly well executed, especially Prince Zuko's. The themes of war, violence, redemption, loss, and honor that Avatar touches on are not only handled well, but very relevant to the wider world. Many shows could learn a thing or two from Avatar.

Game of Thrones: Season 18
Oct 29, 2024
While dense at times, still a great introduction to both the world of Game of Thrones and the tone that GRRM's writing will have for the rest of the series. This season functions almost as a prologue for what is to come, harshly letting the viewer know that no one is safe and to remain on their toes.

Game of Thrones: Season 410

Excellent. This season is Game of Thrones at its best. These episodes contain some of the best acting in the series, satisfying conclusions to plot lines, and fascinating introductions to others.

One Piece (2023)7

A great way to introduce a wider audience to the vast One Piece world. The designs and effects are goofy at times, but this works fairly well with the tone of the series. Some big moments come across as cheesy, but others hit home. Overall, the changes made from the manga to this adaptation work well for the medium.
