A lot of things about this game feel a little off. The reboot tomb raider did everything better than this game imo. Spoiler: The main story is so uninteresting, meet up the most important guy in the jail is too convenient. And that guy just ****, he cannot fight, always got capture and did nothing to show his divine power the entire game. There is almost zero character development. The open world is fun to explore but it hurt the pacing of the game. The game is big let down for me compared to the first reboot .
The game is alright, not too long but sweet and unique. It is a 2d puzzle game that you are a yarn creature and use your own yarn to solve puzzles. The puzzles are simple and neat. The first two levels are a little slow but I feel the game gets better and I kinda finished the rest of levels in one sitting. There is just one thing I dislike, the music. I knew the devs put a lot of effort to create those music and record them. But to my taste, they are just bad and not fit to a puzzle game. I dont want to sound rude, but i basically had to turn off the volume of the music to play the game.I never bothered by game music this much before..
An excellent 2d platform souls like game. i like the combat as much as the platforming! The world is huge with good level design, enemy variety and bosses.... i only finished the game once as a pure mage and love every minute of it. you get a few new jumping abilities by progressing the game and you can revisit previous levels using new ability to access secret places, i like this game design.
positive: Excellent and intrigue story, lore and world. insanely good graphic... solid gameplay... awesome i mean kickass awesome robot dinosaurs!!! meh: human AI is just passable.. what i want,,, a sequel and maybe love interests!!
platinumed the game and had a lots of fun... it has a few basic mechanisms as souls series but also unique in many ways. the major problem i have with this game is how unbalanced it is... too many oped spells and cheap ways to beat the bosses...i think the level design, the enemy variety and the boss design are a little lacking... the gameplay, however, is very very good and feels better than souls imo. it is a solid game and could be 9 or 10 out of 10 for a lot of people, but after finished the game i have no desire to replay it for some reasons...i feel the game has its moment but also very grindy and repetitive, so it is a 8 for me.....
My first Yakuza game and i love it!!!!! the combat/gameplay is so good and stylish. most of the story is enjoyable, exciting and surprising. however, the ending part is just too convolution and makes less sense to me, especially the final reveal of the boss identity. the shianda substory is nice on its own but he is just, imo, contribute nothing to the main story and feel forced to go to kamurocho to find "answers",, his final boss fight is just stupid, i dont understand his ranting on baseball and how it connects to the assassin situation. i got it that in yakuza world people are fighting for the most weird reasons, but he is not a "yakuza" and everything about him is pathetic and force, though i do enjoy his baseball story just not the yakuza part story..... the game is huge with tons of things to do and platinum this game took me about 200 hours (during which i encountered zero bugs) !!!! after finished the game i cannot wait to play yakuza 0 and 6, i also want to play the spinoff Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin! " which looks superfun! hopeful they release the english version of the spinoff game.... the one reason i cannot give this game a 10/10 is the awful, awful pop-in, i realized it may exist in a lot of jrpg games but i cannot stand people just magically appear and disappear 3 meters from my character!!! wth... i hope they fix this problem in the upcoming titles
overall a decent game for me. it is much slower than dark souls but still enjoyable. I tried str build which was quite op, tried agi build with two handed daggers, fun, fast and tons of dps, tried a pure faith build and can confirm it was op as well. the bosses and enemies are decent. the major drawbacks are 1) glitches, bugs and crushes!! the game crushed 6 or 7 times on ps4 for my three playthrough, very annoying since the game encourage you to not save the game. 2) level design is confusing and poor in general, only 4-5 major maps with similar rooms and enemy types... but overall, it has some new ideas and most the combat are fun in its own way.. dont expect dark souls level combat but enjoy the game as what it is. this game is not 10/10, but it is not garbage.
The game has the best visual and the smoothest gameplay of all UC games. The level design is also quite good, the story is decent. As the last UC games, I found the ending is fulfilling and satisfying. However, I felt the pacing is odd and as epic as the setpieces are, it didnt blow me away like UC2, or even UC3. IMO, I enjoyed uc2>uc3>uc4>uc1. Maybe the change of the director made UC4 a little bit too serious for me. still a must have game for ps onwers...
My friend recommended this game for me a while ago but I am not into h&s game so I didnt play it until this summer. This game has one of the most epic and well-done boss designs, the one with the titan and the first stage with Zeus are my favorites.
Ni no Kuni is an amazing game. I am not into JRPG at all, in fact the only JRPG I played is dark souls which is not a traditional slow-paced, turn-based and lengthy JRPG. At the beginning I find the game is kinda of boring, i.e, every encounter is just to spam attack button.. but maybe 10 hours into the game, I realized that the fighting system is rather complicated and elegant. You have minions with one of star, moon, and sun elements, they have pros and cons against each other, e.g, sun element deals more damage to moon, but less damage to star, etc. I maxed level dozens of minions, they are all fun to use and feels different. The story is quite enjoyable and cheering. Everyone has a heart even the bad guys. In the end, I just love every parts of the game. I cannot wait for ni no kuni 2.
I am a huge fan of the first game and have over 1000 hours in... However, I dislike almost all the changes they made for the multiplayers, the characters are not balanced, the tone of the maps has too much pink (I like the greenish in the first game). They add a lot of stuff to single player and coops which are just average contents and nothing standout.
A very unique game with an amazing presentation that exceed my expectation. I think the impact of the choices has actually weight here and I like the cheesy horror setting combined with decent storyline and twists. Hopefully they will make another game like this.
The gameplay of transistor is super good and interesting. I had a lot of fun trying different combat combination since each function has a main, a second and a general use... the art design of this game is nice. I finished the game in two settings about 8 hours to get platinum and enjoyed the game. However, I don't really dig into the story and some of the dialogues are cringeworthy, e.g... i love you,, don't leave me.... ****. i feel the main game is too short with reused locations, the boss fights should be much more and better than what we had. I guess I enjoyed the gameplay too much so that i hope the game can be longer and the enemy can be more diverse and interesting to try different builds. All in all, i love the game.
The combat is fun, the graphic is decent and the setting is really good. However, after finished all the main quests for all factions and many many side quests I feel that killing everything is the only option for the game. I missed the time I can use my charism, or money or int to finish quests. I do believe that the rpg element is a huge step down from previous games, but I don't think this game is unplayable or downright garage. I am disappointed the directions it went. But if you are just looking for an open world game with fun gameplay, you should pick this game up.
I thought i was so tired of zombies game so I didnt buy this game at release but waited in the spring of 2016 to grab this game based on some positive reviews from youtube. I have really low expectation for this game since when it first came out I heard that the story was bad the characters are bad, the voice acting and the side missions are all bad.... Man of man, do I careless about those when I play this game. The gameplay is so good, the melee, the gunplay and the parkour are so enjoyable. I played both dead island games and dying light is a huge improvement upon dead island. I am a little shamed of myself to truly enjoy this game just for pure fun gameplay.. I don't care about the voice acting and the characters... I found them stupidly fun, even the story is enjoyable for me. They added a better level system and day-night cycles which are so scary. I first played the game on hard but I cannot survive a minute in the night time so I changed to normal. It is still challenging and scary sometimes.... imo, dying light is so much better than dead island, which I recommend to everyone who likes zombie games..... I know the game has tons of obvious flaws, but I dont think I have this much fun playing a video game. I got addicted badly and played around 100 hours to finish everything in the base game and the dlc, ;the game has tons of missions and things to do...this is one of the most fun games I played!
A must-buy for a souls series fan! The combat is fast-paced and imo better than dark souls series. The setting, the lore, the enemies design are all top-notch. There are far less weapons and builds in the game than dark souls but I feel each weapon has unique move-sets and fun to use. I beat the game over 10 times with different builds and still play it here and there. I do feel the main game could be longer and the pvp could be done better, but the changes in the combat are so good to overcome the game's shortages. on the other side, this game has my most hated boss in all the souls game, fxxk u Micolash with your spamming magic and everything involved in this boss design. Still love this game!!!!
Dark souls is my favorite game of all time, it helped me get back and truly enjoy gaming after too many mediocre AAA **** and the witcher 3 is another game holds the same effect on me, it let me love gaming again. anyway I just got chance to play the game now which is 6 months after the release. i haven't played any witcher games before and I've heard the combat is somewhat simplified and the movement is awkward. ..men, what a treat I am in for playing this game.... i love it from the beginning to the end!! the combat is enjoyable, the movement after patches is fine. the witcher 3 is the best rpg games i played. the game is addictive... the main quest, the side quest, the contract, all with good character acting, good writing and pacing. the dialogue and how the choice affects the game is done better than bioware's titles imo. the graphic is amazing, i paused my game several times and ask my wife to look at, she said it was just beautiful!! I played 4-5 hours every day for three weeks and just finished all the quests... what an experience... i told my wife what is going on with Yen and Triss and asked her who should I choose, because,,, i just wanna have them both.... she told me to choose Tirss which I liked more and I got a happy ending with Triss!!! but it is sad to tell Yen that i have no feeling for her... anyway, i just want to say the romance here has done better than the bioware's titles again, imo..... the game has a few emotional moments, i almost teared when Ciri screamed... i can always have fun at mediocre games or grinding games, but rarely i found a game with so much love the developer put into. i respect them and love them.... thanks, CD red, you are so talent and awesome!!! a 10/10 game without question...
I played this game on ps3 this summer, 2015 this first time. the graphic is surprisingly decent given how old the game is. the gameplay is also decent. the seeds are planted in this game which lead to the amazing uncharted 2. all in all it is a decent game
A very fun game. I like the art-style and all the classes, each class has distinct power and ability which make all of them valid. the game modes are good and fun. My wife and I have a great time with this game. However, the split screen gets boring after a few tries. The match making is totally off balance. the hit detection sometimes feels way off. all in all, a decent game for fun time
Played this game in late 2013 since I got a ps3 just few weeks ago. Dark souls is my first souls game, I spent over 1000 hours in it and I am still loving it. The person who recommended dark souls to me holds a high praise on demon's souls. So I have a high expectation before actually played the game. I have to say I finally understand why so many people says dark souls reuse a lot of bosses and areas from Demon's souls, it is true! The core mechanism is the same, the tune feels familiar. That being said I absolutely enjoy the game. I platinumed it in two weeks! I felt that farming upgrade stones in this game is one of worst in the series which means it will take ages for some builds getting the best weapon...
Too many bugs and glitches in both sp and mp... the worst bf game I ever played. I only spent 150+ hours in the first three months after releasing, so i pretty much intensively played the worst version/period of bf4 before the third big patches(I think). the hit detection was bad!!!! the game lacked stability, constantly crushed ! the battlepacks was a joke as well as boosting xp!!! i think EA plays a huge role to ruin this franchise, this might be my last bf game.. sad..
I am so happy that i could play this game on PS4 since last gen xbox360 is my sole console. The graphic, the music, the sound effects, the cut-scenes are so well-done. I adore Ellie!!!!! I played the game on survival, so the gameplay is challenge and intense. I for one love the gameplay as much as the story and character. Almost everything feels so damn right in this game and the whole experience is amazing...
This game is definitely not a DLC to the original dead island. It is a copy/paste game which is long enough to be called as a standalone game (more than 10 hours for me) if you want to finish all the quests and collect everything. The story and game setting , however, is even dumber than the original game. Although I enjoyed the gameplay, I despise deep silver to release such a "zero effort" game as a retail game.
I am having so much fun playing wolf. One of the best single player FPS games! The story is interesting, the characters are lovable, the gameplay is incredible. The guns feel so so good to shoot!! A great and a fresh game that a FPS fan should definitely check out.
I finished the game and all the achievements in one night, absolutely a unique game. I am glad that PSN makes it a free game otherwise I will miss this amazing indie game. The "puzzle" is genius and makes me laugh out loud. I watched all the dialogue and cut-scene since they are hilarious and crazy!
As someone who always find AC is overrated, I am surprised that how much I enjoyed to play this game for at least the first 20 hours. Definitely the best sailing/pirate game I played in the past 10 years. I cannot stop thinking how it can be if they cut the assassin nonsense but focus only on sailing part of the game and add more trading gameplay and a big map. Honestly, the assassin part is just boring and weird. The graphic on ps4 is candy.
My first ps4 game and of course first infamous game!!! The game runs like butter! The graphic is outstanding (compared to xbox360, my sole last gen console). The story and the power, for someone never played infamous, is well-done and cool. I actually find the boss fight design is way above average, the music for the last boss fight is fantastic.
A fantastic game! I haven't enjoyed a single-player FPS game in a very long time. I played Metro 2033 a while ago for about half an hour and to be honest I found the gameplay and AI was awful so I didn't give the game a chance. After finished last light I really want to revisit 2033, and for some reason I think I will enjoy 2033. The atmosphere in last light is phenomenal, both underground and above-ground world are amazingly scary! The gameplay is improved and fun. The story, though is linear, it is somehow made me want to follow and find out what is going on. I give this a game a 9/10, not because it is better than some 8/10 games I rated, but because it offers me a unique experience and I haven't enjoyed a game like this for a long time..
I like the settings, the story and the gameplay in general. It is a solid game with unique perks. For me, Bioshock is a franchise I will always play but never will consider it as a perfect game or 10/10 game. While I enjoyed the game for most of time, I never found the story is that special as someone claimed, and I always need to push myself a little bit to finish the game since the game bored me here and there.
A great sequel. The gameplay is similar to dark souls but with enough changes and improvements. The game has more places, bosses and weapons, etc. The graphic is not what they showed on E3 but it is good enough. I love the covenants, co-op and pvp. IMO, the game is easier than the first one because magic is so overpower. I enjoy this game, but for some reason I love the first game more than this one.
I am a little disappointed in this episodes. It was short and way too linear compared to ep1, the choices were just meh, it felt like nothing really happened in the episode... However, I do enjoy the game and I will continue to play the rest of them, but this episode is the least interesting episode I ever played from telltale.
If the title is not "dragon age", I might give it a 7 out of 10. The voice acting and the dialogue are good and often funny. The combat and customization is easy to adapt. The whole game is neat. The auto-saving is handy and well-done. However, it is supposed to be the sequel of the DA:origins, but it just goes horribly wrong. I didn't play many WRPG games, but I also never played a modern game where the game setting is A SMALL CITY. The abuse of reusing maps is just unforgivable. None of the characters is interesting. The romance is just dull. The story is way too linear and stupid to say the less. I am also amazed that Bioware surely has a twist way to turn an epic story to something beyond turd. Like in ME franchise, you think the whole plot is to unite everyone to fight reapers, but it turned out synthetics vs organics is the only core. In dragon age, you got the idea that unite everyone to fight the blight, but no, no, no, the actual and the only conflict in DA is Templars vs Mages. wtf, bioware.
The story surprised me, grate opening episode for a new series. After finished the game I bought the season pass immediately, I really wanna to see where the story heads. + Interesting story setting + Really colorful graphic style + good voice acting (except for one minor character, wont name it here) + I like the new QTE fighting style, adding some tense to the game. However, I pressed the wrong button and somehow it still worked... - Still a lot of frame-drops, at least on Xbox, happened to me more than three times. How come they haven't fixed them yet? - Still noticeable loading time between every cut-scenes and chapters. Maybe I asked too much, but after GTA 5 I expect a game with no loading time between missions. All in all, I like the game and can't wait for Ep 2.
An excellent game, feels fresh and unique. The first ten minutes were quite scary, but the rest of the game was not scary at all. I won't call this a horror game. I can't stop playing the game, finish it in two days and never feel bored or rushed. However, the ending to me is not good enough and it decreases the replay value for me. I give this game a solid 7, but since Remedy is a Finnish company and I live in Finland, so one point for that.
The graphic, the music and the setting of Konoha village were topnotch! The gameplay, IMO, was boring. I only managed to put a few hours in this game but I didn't enjoy it, at all.
The gameplay was solid and fun. I had so high expectation for this game since a lot of folks talked highly on how scary of this game. Not that much for me. But I like the violent and bloodish in this game.
What a game!! maybe the coolest game I ever played. The bullet time is so badass!! I also liked that the gameplay was quite challenging my first playthrough was on hard and I died and died, so many times. I am not a fan of the story or the endless cut-scenes, but the gameplay was too satisfying to keep me playing. I could give this game a higher score if Max can shut his mouth once in a **** is talkish!! Anyway, I still love this game!
The shortest episode ever. Maybe it is too soon to judge, but after playing the episode I don't care any of the new characters. All the back stories feel lame and uninteresting. Hope it will get better. For this episode, gameplay: 7. Story: 3.
Weirdly additive game. Spent hours on it. Will never purchase it (not my type of game), but as a free game for xbox gold member, I give it a soild 7....
Just meh.. Highlights: combat, spent time with Aria. Other than that, this DLC is just boring and wastes of time. It is such a shame, because Aria is so badass and the whole retake omega has so much potential to be good. Once again Bioware masterfully destroys an epic character and story, they really lost their mind.
