If you've ever questioned, "are movies art? are animated movies art?" watch this movie and you'll see that, yes, they are. Phenomenal in ways words can't describe. This movie is beautiful.

I don't think its a horrible movie like everyone says. It's nowhere near the original, but its still alright. Some cool concepts and still a lot of good characters that the original had as well.

I love this movie. Awesome characters, amazing concept, cool as hell action. It may seem like a meaningless, run of the mill action to most, but to a trained eye, it has nuance that you wouldn't be able to get elsewhere. Extremely entertaining. I could watch this movie again and again and never get bored. Awesome performances and great effects as well. Really glad they didn't make the two have a romantic subplot, or at least an overt one. Awesome movie.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum1
Dec 28, 2019
The movie ****, dude. The John Wick movies were never something for plot, it was supposed to be a simple premise for a good entertaining movie: watching Keanu Reeves kick some guys ass and get the **** kicked out of him in return. This movie just completely jumbles up the entire premise by adding a nonsensical storyline and just a bunch of random nonsense through out there for what seems like no good reason. It just makes for a bull**** movie without any of the charm of the first two. Hard to sit through, hard to listen to, and hard to watch overall. The writing just ****, and not in a "haha we can ignore the story and just watch a buncha people die" but in a "holy hell this is really painful to listen to" type way. Stop it? Please? They're supposed to be simple and fun? Go back to the neon lights of the last movies and keep with the simple ideas so I can just watch Keanu Reeves get his ass kicked and not want to blow my brains out.

Get Out10

Peele is a **** genius. The movie is full of subtle hints at every turn of the corner that rewards careful viewers while not being wasted on the general audience. Although it may fall pray to slowness at times, the use of classic staples of filmography like sound design, setting, and ambience really never pull you out of the world, even if the action doesn't start until over halfway into the movie. The suspense is extremely well done, and the ending is incredible. If you think the "racism" is too strong or whatever, I hate to be that guy, but Get Out. The movie drives home its themes and points perfectly, and its refreshing to see a horror movie with a message behind it in an age of cut and dry slashers. Absolutely insanely good movie from filmography, story, tone, message, acting, you name it, it's got it. Very overt product placement from Samsung though.

The Dark Knight Rises3
Oct 20, 2019
Why is it that Bane is literally so cool in every other incarnation of him /except/ for the one he's most notably known for? This movie ****, dude. The portrayal of Bane is literally so exaggerated its comedic. You could say that about this entire movie, actually-- the whole conflict that it rides on is so out of the feeling of anything real it's hard to get invested in. Bale has never been a good Batman to me, and this movie just cements his mediocrity. The Dark Knight is perfect because its everything this movie isn't-- almost never wasting a moment, always keeping you guessing, beautiful performances that bring you into the characters, a story and plot full of themes that are coherent and come full circle, a well believable world and take on the story, and of course, not one but two amazing villains. This movie has none of that. It's predictable, has little replay value, I don't care about ANY of the characters, blah blah blah "darkness", and i **** hate Bane. It really **** that this movie ends an iconic trilogy. It just doesn't do it justice at all!

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best Marvel movie. It's the perfect end of the MCU's first act. You see the personalities we've been exposed to throughout the past movies finally clash, and there's a perfect amount of banter and golden interactions that make it so, so worth it. There is not a single wasted moment in this film, every single scene serves a myriad of good purposes for both the film's plot progressing, making us laugh, investing us in characters, developing unique relationships... the list goes on. Really, the only place this movie stagnates is the final act and the final battle, which gets a little hard to watch after some time because it just drags on for so long. But if a movie only loses my interest slightly on one part but still manages to give me goosebumps with amazing dialogue and line delivery after the 30th time I've watched it? Hey, no skin off my nose. It just **** that this director went on to direct the worst Marvel movie after this. Oh well!

Nolan is a genius. This movie rules on every single **** front. The set up, the subsequent story the follows, the acting, the cinematography, every single bit of this movie is masterfully done and you can feel the amount of thought and love that went into it. I could watch this movie over and over again and never get bored. Possibly the best superhero movie of all time!

Joker4

People praising this movie as the movie of the year or will be talked about for decades could not be **** Todd Phillip's **** more. The story and pacing drags, gets boring at times, and although the final act is great the build up isn't worth it. There are some scenes and little choices that make you appreciate the thought that went into this movie, but those moments are scarce and like looking for a needle in a haystack. Phoenix's performance may save this film from getting any lower than it got, but as a Joker fan it's just straight up disappointing to watch. I would not watch it again! It genuinely makes me sad because this movie has a lot of potential but it just fails so spectacularly that it's hard to watch or think about. I like Joker (the character) a lot. Possibly my favorite villain of all time. This movie? ****.
