Disney's Brother Bear (2003)8
Jun 12, 2015
*A quiet wind sweeps by What did i expect? There's not a bloody soul here. Not a single review. Not by a company, not by a user, nothing. Heck, this place is even emptier than my bank account! I guess i'm going to be the first huh? So be it! It'll be like Christopher Columbus all over again! Minus his incredible stupidity and love for wearing a collapsed muffin on his head. So! We're taking a look at a game for kids. Yay. As we know, kids games are mostly somehting to abandon when you're over 10 years old (or something in that range). But some are just too good to be left alone!... clearly we're dealing with such an example! Well, at least in my opinion. This game plays as you might expect, you play as a f*cking bear. Yeah, awesome, right? Nope! You'd think that playing as a bear would mean that you'd tear everything you see to shreds but, no. Well, first off: this is a Disney game. So don't expect anything too fantastic. Secondly: this is a platformer. With no enemies, only some boss battles... crazy. huh? To name a few things about this piece of animal rights propaganda it plays like this: You collect berries from bushes to fill up a bar, once that bar is full you'll be able to use a powerup somewhere in the level. You take damage from red bushes but that isn't a big threat since health is scattered everywhere in the from of fish and acorns. Your primary collectible are honeycombs which don't do anything other than opening special caves. I didn't studder. When you've completed a level you'll either be rewarded with a minigame or a boss-fight, simple is that. I won't say much about the game since most things are explained right in front of you, because, well, KIDS!!! I do recommend however, that you watch the movie first since... well, if you don't that's be f*cking stupid XD Still, this game is kinda magical for me. It's one of the few CD games i have left and quite frankly, it's the oldest of the bunch. However, since time has moved on, the game has gotten very buggy. Characters keep interrupting each other because the voicelines are all glitched and sometimes the game speeds up for no apparent reason. An explaination for this could be that it's poorly programmed but i don't really believe that since i've seen very similar games in perfect condition after almost ten years after it's creation. Another one could be that it's harder to run properly on modern machinery. And that is true, as years and years pass, more and more games wither away as they will never see the light of day again. So i beg you, use Windows 7. If you don't... well, f*ck you. Here's the juicy summary: Pros: + The game is simple and doesen't require any skill, + Atmospheric as hell, + Soundtrack is awesome. Cons: - Runs poorly after almost ten years, at least that's kinda' expected, - Short as hell. - Buggy at times. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I highly recommend that you pick this game up if you have the chance. It's very hard to find and even then, it's mostly not worth the money. But, for what it is, it's pretty damn good. I won't say anything about it because i want you to experience it for yourself. And by that: This game gets the score: 8/10 ("i can dig it")

Disney DuckTales: Remastered5
Jun 5, 2015
Aside from the intro theme for **** making no sense and being one of the cheesiest songs i've ever listened to, this game is kinda' bad. I know that might just sound like me bashing a Disney game (as everyone else does) for it's poor qualities, but nope, this game managed to: 1) Piss me off a little, 2) Make me question the fact that Disney has good writers, 3) Make me watch some Ducktales, 4) Waste five (or so) hours into the game. These are all bad things, right? Well, maybe except for the watching Ducktales part. To quote my good ol' friend, he said: This game is just repetetive. At first i questioned this statement, after all, i loved F*cktales on the Gameboy and i even consider playing it again! However, after buying this game and playing it from start to finish. I slightly agree with my buddy. Sure, you do the exact same things most of the time but most of the time it's varied enough to make me enjoy the game, in similar fashion to Lego Star Wars The Video Game (See my review on LSWTVG). In a very similar fashion to LSWTVG, indeed! We all know that Lego games have loads of puzzles, heck, even most boss fights have. But in the first Lego Star Wars game for the Gamecube, the puzzle rate is somewhere between 20% to 45%. Same goes for this game, it just doesen't have enough varied events to make the game replayable, Now, in Lego-whatnot-wars-the-viddygem, this is somehow not a thing i cared about. Why? I have no idea (See my review on Lego-this-game's-title-is-way-too-long). As for the story, nothing makes logical sense, the plot is thinner than my curtains (which are basically made up of 90% air), and guess what?, actual work went into this. Yep, actual work. Since when did Disney do that?... OH, WAIT. This "work" included such things as: hiring the old voice actors from the **** cartoon... and that's basically it. That's really something though. Finding everyone that isn't dead/a raisin and re-hiring them? They probably kicked them outta' the building when they were done, but still, that's some dedication! But that doesen't prevent to game from being a straight dissapointment. Here's a summary. I could literally sit here all day and write down all things i don't like about the game, but nevertheless; here it is: Pros: + Soundtrack has been refined and sounds better than ever!, + Everything is, well, remastered! Cons: - Game is too short, - Some of the platforming spots are complete ****, - Model animations severely lag on older computers, - Last level is a real rager, - Somewhat repetetive, - Is not challenging at all, - Is probably made for kids. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to enjoy this game like a lot of other people, i mean, i still have some old Ducktales videotapes lying around somewhere that i recorded a long while ago, and i'm always willing to pop those ol' **** into the VHS-player and giving it a go but this game is something else, i can tell you that for free. Next piece of advice is 10$, you see. The game is very clearly designed for kids, at least in my opinion. It's easy, it has next to no replayability, and it's just not a game worth spending the full price on. It's a shame too. Disney has a very bit opportunity to create high quality games, and then they decide to make somehting like disney universe, or something likewise. Sure, a lot of Disney fans are children (BTW i hate children) which makes it somewhat understandable that they make these sorta' producs. However, sometimes, even the oddest of companies can make something legendary (in my opinion). And i will be reviewing such a game very soon. So sit tight, **** and gentlemen! But when it comes to this game, in short, this game gets the score: 5/10 (Mreh, whatever)

Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005)8
Jun 5, 2015
Iz rly gud heuheh! For real though, Battlefront 2 is one of the few games that stand out from being what other games at the time were. You know the kind! Games with tacked-on multiplayer features! Man, those **** amirite? Iamrite, so let's take a look at the game which will soon to be accompanied by the (probable) failure that is Battlefront 3. Basically: You can either play the campaign or galactic conquest which i'll get to in a bit. In the campaign you play as a (not so) loved defender of the republic; a Clone Trooper! And as you gun down enemies with your bulky(ish) weapons you soon come to the conclusion that follows: Derr, jehdiz arrnt gud ppl! And suddenly you advance into a more (not so) respectable role as an Oda Clonobunaga! Actually, you just kinda' buy a cs:go reskin pack and become the (overrated) Stormtrooper! Most that can be said for galactic conquest is: You pick your side as either: Da Ehmpyre, Thu Rebhellleeun, Treehd Fhedoration, and Da Replyblic. There's also space missions in which: you attack the enemy ship in various ways, including; destroying their various ship-components located on the hull of the ship, and the inner parts of the ship which you'll have to reach on foot. Here's the (not so (i have to stop with these jokes) ) summary: Pros: + Has almost infinite replayability! + Great gameplay + Awesome soundtrack (duh) Cons: - **** and glitches, baby! - Multiplayer is dead - Is a f*ckin' nightmare to get working on modern computers ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, this game's pretty good! It's a star wars game i always have a fun time with. However, story mode is pretty lame once you complete it and multiplayer is sorta'... not a thing anymore since, you know, this game was around way back when having a mullet was actually uncommon. Needless to say: this game has almost infinite replayability. And that settles the final score, which ended up being: 8/10 ("i can dig it")

Ok, before i say anything. I do believe that god and all that exists and same goes for the underworld/hell and whatnot. But i'm not a religious person. That's not a chocker considering i like to blow up thing in a similar fashion to a terrorist but alass, let's get this game pinned down to what it actually is: A satanic game. Whoopty-frickin'-doo. I mean, it's never easy to talk about a game in which you collect souls from innocent beings (well, mostly) and lend them right over to the devil in exchange for more power and abilities. Gee, i wonder why so few games are made in the spirit of straight-up satanic murder. Hurr durr. Anyways; in this game you do.... what i just said, really. You toy around with your surroundings, destroying machinery, rig special environments to work in your favor, etc. The game relies on puzzles which i don't really like. Cuz' i **** at dem puzzles u no wat am sayan'? That's basically it! i mean, i could go into detail about the puzzles and so on, and i'm gonna' do it to brighten up your mind. You have abilites such as mind control, telekinesis, and visa versa. You use mind control on weak-minded people. An example would be the one case right right here: *spoilers. You trick a woman into thinking that her love interest loves someone else... the hardcore way of course. After that she goes to the balcony weeping and her mind has weakened from this... "occation", which makes it easier to mind-control her. And then you know; Balcony + mind-control = Swan dive However, puzzles tend to be very hard and not giving any direction as of what you're supposed to do. I.... f*cking.... hate..... PUZZLES!!1!!! *sigh. Alright, alright. Let's round this up. Pros: 1) The game manages to be a rather calming experience, which is nice. 2) The soundtrack doesen't loop, instead it switches to another tune once the previous one has ended. It's also very nice. 3) Mechanics and physics are a nice touch. Cons: 1) Graphics are laughable. 2) Puzzles are very hard and not very "rewarding" 3) The game is very repetetive and boring sometimes. 4) **** sequel (this doesen't really matter) Please don't beat me to death. This game gets the score: "It was only ok, dude"

Ratchet & Clank Collection7

Me: "Aaaalright! what's in for me today :3 ?" *game shows up. "Those old fossils? ugh, fine." Well; that was a recording from a coupla' days ago. I wanted to review this game and it's been a while since. But i just didn't want to you know? It's kinda' complex... sort of. The game(s) were a big part of my childhood but as of today, i haven't touched them in a longer while than since i ate a kiwi fruit. Trust me, they aren't derricious. Huw-a-haagh! Alright; let's just get this the hell over with before i have to eat a kiwi instead! To start off with; the game is hella' lawng dawg! Three Ps2 classics in one! For less money than all the three ones combined! Quite smashing dontcha' think? Har, har, har! Anyways, the game is made by Insomaniac! Sorry wrong one, Insomniac! (i think) Which has made quite a couple of interesting gems lemme' tell ya' that. To begin with; the games take place in a galaxy full of tyranny and trouble and it's your job as an anthropomorphic-cat-dude who's only company is a tin can with limbs and a helicopter head. Yay. The game plays like a third-person-shooter, you can buy 'nades, guns, lasers, flamethrowers, hovering mines, transformation-to-duck-fetish-gun, and so on. You get ammo and money from crates or you can buy some good ol' mafia products in da' hood downtown that's currently overrun by gluttonous jabba the hutt-looking mothaf*ckas that split into smaller jabba the hutt-looking mothaf*ckas when hit (literally, not kidding). As i said; the game is basically a collection of three Ps2 classics: Ratchet And Clank 1, Ratchet And Clank 2, and then the third one because i'm too lazy to write all that one more time. Which then means that the game itself is very long, something i love with games these days. Most of em' are just way too short don't you think? Anyways, *takes a bite out of a kiwi. Not much needs to be said, just look up the things you are curious about! Lots of people will agree with me that this game is a present from god that lets us relive our childhoods with the old games we used to love. My Ps2 broke after many years of intense playing and, to be honest: that was a very sad day for me. I didn't realize it at first but my childhood would be practically gone without those games. Luckily, as we already know. Someone out there knew what to do. I gotta' say; why doesen't companies re-release their ancient old games/systems? I get that those things are outdated but come on, some were unreplacable! Like the Psp for an example; most of its games will never see the light of day again because... well, you know. Anyway, that rant **** the absolute juice out of me...... and this kiwi. That's one of the reasons i didn't want to review this game to begin with. It's just too much for my short reviews. Well, here's the roundup: Pros: 1) Soundtrack is awesome, fitting, and bad*ss at times. 2) Gameplaywise, it's like an average tps game with some creative guns.... ecept the banana-gun thing that they came up in the third installment... 3) Enemies are easy enough to beat but when they bunch up you'll have to get creative. 4) The story is basic enough and is easy to understand. Cons: 1) **** and glitches ladies and gentlemen! 2) Not more Hd than the previous games. Shocking, i know. 3) Annoying as f*ck enemies at points. 4) Unexplained puzzles 5) The ice levels. Don't even ask. To round this up i'm just gonna' say; nostalgia wasn't a part of this review. Not at all, in fact: i review games with the benefit of the doubt and in most cases; i ignore the nostalgia me and others have experienced playing these games. Which in those terms means that this game gets the score: "meh, but still good"

I don't get it. Maybe we humans are just morons in general, but calling this game the worst thing ever since Marmite is just moronic. Sure, there are some bad (and a bit terrible) aspects of the game but most people that wrote all those negative reviews are mostly like: Derr i liek eggs huehuheuhuehe. But here i am, a "sentient" human with enough intelligence to give this game a legit review. A simple note here: my reviews tend to be short and only mention the things a new player needs to know about before jumping into a world with, let's say armageddon/hippieland. To start off, this game starts you off as a cell who either eats plants that float around in the water or pieces of flesh that you have ripped off from your enemies, this is mostly what determines what your creature(s) eat in the rest of the evolution that you tak part in. You can also be an omnivore if you collect a certain item or equip two items separately. Let's smash-cut to the creature stage where you will be presented with a 3D world for you are free to explore, unlike the 2.5D that you swim around in as a cell. You collect parts from skeletons to upgrade your creature or get them form befriended alpha-creatures/an entire species. You befriend them with sick moves, charming pedophile-like eyes, flexing with your posable body, and making an outright ruckus with your (un)godly voice. Or if you prefer the violent way of dealing with things you can slaughter everything you see, ripping off parts from your enemies and devouring their hearts as you advance in the epic tale of the complete psycho, which you might be. Violently panning to tribal stage, this is where things take a turn (for the best) in which: you will be controlling your tribe in a sort of, strategy game. Conquer other tribes with force (which is the harder option) or get close to them and make them your allies with music. Another time-warp to the Civlisation-stage where you've got your first city and with that in mind, you basically repeat the tribal-stage but with a much larger area to take control of. A much moreb boring stage basically. I am getting tired of writing this much while i really don't care, i mean. This does nothing other than giving this game a better score than most "people" think. Whuh.... Fine, whatever. In the space stage you.... ahg! **** it, You colonize planets, complete tasks for your fellow mates, befriend other space-dudes (or kill em') and some **** Here's a summary: pros: 1) A lot of creation involved. 2) Interesting story 3) Nice expansion packs cons: 1) Community is full of people who gave this game all o' them reviews 2) **** A very shortened review to say the least. But there's nothing i can do. This game is golden in my eyes but no-one seems to agree. I don't know what to say basically (i'm just very lazy) I gave this game a higher score than planned because of it's user-rating. So, yeah.

LEGO Battles7
Jan 22, 2015
And yet another game about both lego and randomness at its random...-est i guess. But like my review on lego island 2: the f*ckster's revenge, this game is pretty good. Well, for the DS at least. I mean the Nintendo DS was very successful but in my opinion all 3D games on it looked/played like complete **** I mean, take a look at a comparison between Lego Star wars: the clone wars, it looked gorgeous on the Wii and the Ps3 but on the DS? COMPLETE SHI-BLARGHALGHRALGHUGLAHR- i can't stress enough. Regerding the game, it's like a god game with really pixellated graphics which actually looks better than you think. Trust me this game is even more obscure than Patapon, a game which not even the smallest groups of people recognize, well. Maybe except me... i don't even know anymore. But for real though, the soundtrack is kind of bitcrushed which is one of my most favourite song types, the graphics are mostly like the snes's graphics, it's mostly blend of many pixel games to say the least. Gameplaywise. You place buildings, you get cash, you get units, push objectives, you win. It's a Mc-Basic, really. Here is the most fun part of the entire review, trust me. Writing certain reviews on the wrong day can end in the this-is-not-interesting-at-all cathergory. Pros: Cons: I am suprised... really.... there is nothing wrong with this game except the minor things, but those keep bugging each other with the good minor thing about this game. Which then means that this game was made with the right mind in charge.... i don't know what joke to choose so i'll just simply say.... "a random crackhead" This game gets the score: "meh, but still good"

Lego Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge5
Jan 21, 2015
Again, here i am explaining that games can be good in more ways than one, this game for an example. An adult would dissmiss this game for being quote "just plain annoying, i mean the voice acting ****!!" and for one, this is right. But we're talking about this game in 2015 people, it's 14 years after the game's release in 2001. And it's for kids. So we have quite the content to digest. In fact: i'll have to add multiple pros-and-cons because of how an adult would see this game. In no further fachion, here's Lego Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge! For adults: The game is clearly for children, the voice acting is outright annoying, the minigames are boring and hard, and the game is way too long to be any fun at all. For an average understanding person (me n' you) : Well, to say the least. The game is certainly for kids, the voice acting is silly and.. well, dorky and full of cheese (pizza puns, ho!) but at the same time it's likable and cringeworthy at times. The game itself is'nt too spectacular but it has a friendly vibe to it, sort of what Lego games were in the early stages. Legoland, lego games, the merch, everything was better those times. Today we are left with the not-so-entertaining Lego movie which, in my opinion was just an attempt to milk the Lego market even more than it already has. The Lego movie i would've liked to be on the bigscreen was Clutch Powers adventures, or whatever it was called. It was a relatively long time ago but that movie was better in many ways. This game is not about the storyline, experience,, or anything of the sort. It's about the fun. Something many games have forgotten due to developers like Ubisoft want as much profit for each game. I mean, look at Assassins creed: Unity. It's so broken and yet they pushed this peice of crap out the door for maximal success. Same goes for Far cry 4, maximal profit and maximal reskinning. The game is all about having fun, in a way that kids will find very entertaining. However, it is very challenging for a kid, even with some understanding of what the hell is going on. I mean, as a kid i had absolutely no idea how to do a trick at the skateboard minigame, but in reality it was in the instruction booklet the entire time (in some copies of the game it didn't mention the skateboarding minigame at all) So here's some things to round it up: Pros: 1) Mediocre fun but still very entertaining 2) Open world 3) Every place you visit looks very nice Cons: 1) Even though it's an open world, there isn't anything to do other than to follow the extremely linear storyline 2) **** and glitches baby! 3) Very hard at some points 4) Hard to run on current machinery Basically, this is a kids game but a hard one at that. Still, games like Chantelise which can be considered a kids game and that one is also pretty hard. I played this game when i was a kid, it felt much better playing it back then and that is the only thing that keeps the game from entering the "run-and-never-come-back" zone. In other words, this game gets the score: "Mreh, whatever..."

Left 4 Dead 28
Jan 21, 2015
AH ZAWMBEE GAJME!!!11! Nah for real this time! Left 4 Dead 2 is a very improved version of the previous installment: well, Left 4 Dead! With a couple of things like more melee weapons, improved graphics, etc. Let's see what this gem has for us shall we? First off: The storyline, it's not super special but it gets things done by following a new group of survivors that consists of: Good guy Nick, Bumpah'-carz-Ellis, Worst-kind-of-lawyer-Rochelle, and that one coach dude from punch-out. As i said, it's not fantastic and you'll have to use your imagination if you want to make this the remarkable masterpiece you want it to be. The graphics are still the classic, **** if you are playing on a computer that can't render the graphics that are compareable with xbox 360 titles (i am referring to the Steam version of the game) Soundtrack is fitting, it plays suspense tunes when you're in, let's say "a pickle" and plays like buttah' The weapons are relatively balanced with the exeption of shotguns that are just way too slow when surrounded by a horde of lunatics. Left 4 Dead 2 also has a really realistic physics engine.... yeah, Source... kind of. It varies in physics between Valve games apparently. Ok, i don't have much more important to say so here's a summary: Pros: 1) Plays smoothly, the AI is well programmed and the special infected are hella' precise. 2) Soundtrack is immersive and fitting. 3) Storyline is kind of interesting, especially if you have read the L4D Sacrifice comic. 4) Easter eggs and achievements are both very fun to accomplish and find Cons: 1) Glitches and bugs can ruin your experience 2) Online play **** *ss 3) The new gamemodes are complete ****, they are hard, confusing, and don't add as much to the average experience In short, this is a very interesting game, i've always seen zombies as an interesting subject and this game gets it right in getting me immersed in the **** that's upon you, and three other **** or either overpowered AI's. In other words, this game gets the score: "I can dig it"

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D9
Jan 15, 2015
If you have played Ocarina Of Time on the N64 i would say that this is merely a graphical upgrade. But if you haven't, you're in for, quite literally: An adventure. So let's get started! For people that are just getting started as an average gamer, you've heard a least one thing about the franchises started by the one and only Nintendo. Which to be honest, i've lost interest for. But nothing has gotten me closer to die from a beautifulness-overload than this game. Graphics is the most notable thing along with an HD soundtrack, sound, sprites, models, text, everything to say the least. The major(a)ity of the game is mostly about puzzles and beating the **** out of your fellow enemies, which i'm gonna' confess: i **** at puzzles. But this game would be nothing without the trickiness, and that goes without saying really. I mean, every Legend Of Zelda game has puzzles to mix with your mind. The story is awesome, my reviews are not really supposed to go into much gameplay if not neccesary (see my Guns Of Icarus review) but anyways. In the game you play as either Link or a random dude whose name has been chosen by you. As i said, the story is awesome, it really feels like an adventure. I remembered being almost confused when i got the Master Sword (i'm referring to what happens straightly after that. I won't spoil anything though :3) Here's everyone's favourite part: the summary! Pros: 1) Awesome beautiful graphics (for a handheld) 2) Sountrack it majestic 3) Storyline has a lot of twists and is one of the best i've been a part of in years Cons: 1) Is a handheld game, i preferably don't play a handheld game because of the constantly decreasing battery level and the smaller screen 2) Is exactly like the N64 version 3) A lot of censoring chanhges (this barely matters) 4) Puzzle-haters will think that this is pain in a deku nutshell. So to round this up: The game is as awesome as it was on the N64 but with a beautiful new style and a HD-ifyed awesome soundtrack. Everything is the exact same as before so there isn't much else other than the HD-ing that happened to the game. Soon however, Majora's mask 3D will come out and we'll see if i have some nice words for that one (there is nearly 100% chance that it's gonna' happen). The thing that's keeping this game from a 10/10 score is the fact that there are minor details that keep me further away from this game as of today. In other words, this gets the score: "Probably on my top ten list by now"

Condemned: Criminal Origins8
Jan 11, 2015
Truth be told: i'm a real chicken when it comes to horror games, even games that have a creepy atmosphere. But this game seems to make me cringe more often than sweat so i guess that's a good thing. Without more chatter let's talk more about this game. To begin with, this is one of those shooters that came just a little while before the fps-ify-everything era (from 2007-2009) which is ALSO a good thing. There isn't much to say about this game other than that it's a "kind of" atmospheric in the creepy sense and the shooting is satisfying at times. But what gets me glued to this game is the story, it gets more intersting as you go with just a simple murder to the mystery of.... well... i won't spoil anything :] Here are the pro's and con's of the day, you're welcome. Pros: 1) The game manages to be interesting with it's storyline and quite scary at times Cons: 1) To this day, the graphics are laughable I know, there isn't really much to be said, there are minor things that i could've wrote down but those things can't really change the game's rating by that much. In other words this game gets the score: "I can dig it"

Guns of Icarus Online8
Jan 11, 2015
With all the shooters out there innovation is something that most of them are lacking. Don't get me wrong some shooters have nice features that makes it stand out like Bioshock infinite, l4d2, and others. So without further a' do, here's Guns Of Icarus Online: the review. The game might look simple on the outside but trust me, it gets messy. In the game you and your fellow mates and the opposition are fighting about fifty-thousand yards of soil and by "fighting" everyone builds their own airships and tries to fight each other in the air. In all honesty though, you and three other people are the crew of a single ship in the team you are currently playing in. You are either the captain (steering the ship), the gunner (best at shootin' folks), or the engineer (keeps the boat afloat) The hardest one by far is the engineer, as this fine sir/ma'm you're toying aaround with your tools trying to repair all the parts of the ship that have taken too much damage form enemy fire, stormy clouds/sandstorms, or just the captain being a complete idiot and steering the ship into random mountains. As the gunner you do one thing: SPAM BUHHLETZ!!!1!!. Or you know, stop shooting (and druling) eventually to repair some stuff. And as the captain you liternally do one thing: Steer the blimp-pirate-ship-battle-thing...... and yell as loudly as possible at your crew because they aren't doing sh- GODAMMIT PETE KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ENEMY FOR ONCE!!!. .....Anyway here's a summary: Pros: 1) Soundtrack is immersive and badass. 2) Mechanics are very different from a lot of other shooters 3) Coordination is required for a guaranteed victory (this game is heavy on teamwork) 4) Game is smooth as butter, very responsive and controls great. Cons: 1) Graphical glitches and lag can ruin your experience. 2) Hard to "get good" at 3) Useless cosmetics that can wipe your Steam wallet clean if you aren't "sane" In other words, this game suprised me with a handful of mechanics that made this game a must-buy in my opinion. The only thing preventing this game form getting a 9/10 is the fact that this has a lot of cosmetics involved, which is something i would like games to leave alone and focus on being a good game on itself to gain money instead of having tons of panties and whatnot. This game gets the score: "I can dig it"

Legend of Dungeon4

This game... it's something special. And not a "good" kind of special either. You see i've not played a game with the "dead-you're-gonna'-start-from-the-beginning" concept for a long while now, not since clock tower for the Snes which was a long time back lemme' tell you that. But i guess i have to give this game the benefit of the doubt and give it a second chance. For starters this game is hard to get into, you will die a LOT without reading some strategy guides, watching a gameplay video, or practicing a bit for yourself for a while. It's a basic beat em' up concept with random loot. Unfortunately, weapons drop rarely (except for meaby one enemy) and that is what a game like this needs to survive for, i don't know like five more years without being completely forgotten by the community. Games like Borderlands 2, delver, spiral knights, tf2, and others rely on the comcept to survive long after their debut. For an example Tf2 was created nearly eight years ago (at least when this review was posted) but it's still going with a very large community still backing the nearly pointless game that is Valve's least interest. Returning to Legend of dumbasses there isn't much more to be said, the graphics are appealing and the soundtrack is alright but not too majestic. So here's the summary: Pros: 1) Pixel graphics that are appealing 2) Random loot (however still not entertaining) 3) Nice soundtrack, weak however. 4) Multiplayer is the most fun you'll have with this game Cons: 1) The random loot isn't getting this game anywhere... like.... wow. 2) Pretty much a clone of many other dungeon-crawling games 3) Multiplayer isn't very fun. And that is the BEST thing about this game! 4) A group of enemies are way too hard to beat. 5) Death occurs a lot even with the best gear obtainable In short, this game is crap. It's not a game i would play for very long with other similar games like Delver and Terraria. But still, if you are gonna' waste time you might as well try this out. So in other words this game earns the title: "Give me ten bucks and then i'll play it"

Delver7

This game is like another pixel-dungeon crawler game called legend of dungeon with many of the mechanics still glued to the idea-board of cash-in-devs so don't expect this one to be too different from my review on that game. Still, Delver is like an arcade game. You get one chance to collect goodies, slay monsters, and explore the dungeon that you've entered without even coming across the thaught of necromancer skeletons. If you die: You're dead. No going back on this one, you have to start from the beginning. And that is something i don't like with the game, same with Legend of dungeon where you will die a LOT without at least SOME experience. Regarding the rest of this Indiana Jones nightmare it has a variety of things that wants you to keep going deeper into the dark caverns. To cut the chatter here are the most recognizable features: 1) Loot. Loot spawns frequently within the areas that you are in, wheather it's from a crate that you just ninja-slashed open or a Chun Li'd thug that you just kicked the absolute bag out of. From potions, to weapons, food , shields , wands , and other fun stuff :). 2) Beat em' up mechanic. It's always fun to enter a room full of baddies, either it is with a chance to find better armor or something else you need or maybe you just want to kick some ees >:D So this is the point where i round up things in a nice sack of beans :] Pros: 1) Loot drives the game forward 2) Fun combat Cons: 1) One chance, if you're dead. You're dead. 2) Kind of repetetive at some points 3) Soundtrack just **** LOOPS!!! It's kind of a 50/50 deal we have here but still, the game is fun and i suggest that you watch a gameplay video of the game before buying it just in case you're not trusting me :P. In my opinion i'm just giving this game a higher score than planned because i like it, i'm just a **** for pixel-games you know? This game gets a "Meh, but still ok" score.

Spiral Knights7

I really like this game, From the weapons, to the combat, to the random loot and so on. However the storyline isn't very interesting and it mostly comes in play when you complete a mission that you 50% percent of the time had to pay some cash for. Sure, it's a pay-to-play concept sometimes but for an average Joe with a lot of dough it's not a big deal but if you aren't an average Joe the game goes very slowly without paying at least a couple of pennies, so after a while it can get tiring so a break is most oftenly in order. Pros: + Random loot keeps the game going (sometimes) Cons: - Imagination is 95% of the storyline. - Pay-to-play concept - Gets boring if you play for too long. In other words this is one of the games i would play just for one reason, which is pretty bad. Still, this game is entertaining in my opinion and by that: This gets a "meh but still good" score.
