Beautiful game. It could be repetitive, but the amazing soundtrack, charm and beautiful visuals makes it for its repetition. Characters are great and the story, while simple, it's good. It's a simple game that ooze charm.

Great game ruined by greed. Nerfing the credits rewarded in single player races by less than half is a big middle finger to all your buyers. I wish I can refund it. Shame on you, Polyphony Digital and Sony.

It’s so hard that it’s not fun. The lack of any kind of progression or skill system kills this game for me. I played for like 5 hours and I feel like I’m running in circles. Every playthrough is a lost playthrough unless you kill a boss. Yes, you acquire some real life skills, but they doesn’t matter that much, as the game is heavy in the RNG aspect. Oh, and I don’t care about the main character as it doesn’t have any kind of character progression. I wish they released a demo, as now I can’t refund it. I lost $70. DU Housemarque. Don’t buy it unless you’re the kind of gamer who like to play games in the hardest difficulty.

Don't believe the "profesional" reviews. If you like open world games you'll love it. End of story. If you're unsure just watch some let's play videos (I recommend Gamersyde videos for the quality). At 4k with HDR the game looks beautiful, it has much better graphics than expected. Gameplay is quite fun and I love the main character. He's a grumpy guy who complains at everything, just like me (except the badass part.)

I sold The Witcher 3 to buy this game. I think that gives you an idea of how good this game is. I just want to keep playing this gem but I need to write a 150 characters review.

What can I say. Rune Factory and Ni No Kuni had a child, and he is Fantasy Island. Their grandparents are Dragon Quest VIII and Animal Crossing. I'm a gamer since 1993 and after almost 30 hours in this game I can say without a doubt that this is in my top five of favorite games. I have a gamer PC, a PS4, a PS3, a Vita, a WiiU and a 3DS, so as you can see, gaming is my main hobby. Just like in Rune Factory, everything you do you're advancing at something (unless you're maxed out, but that's going to take a while). To be fair I never get hooked to Rune Factory 4. Instead, I got hooked immediately to this game. Fantasy Life is much more straightforward, has a LOT of quest, the world is prettier and the characters are much more interesting than in RF4. Obviously, most quest are gathering quest so if you don't like fetch quests this is not the game for you. The main quest so far looks very funny and interesting. The world is beautiful and reminds me a lot of Ni No Kuni and Dragon Quest VIII (all games are from the same developers btw, Level-5). I spent 20+ hours just exploring the first area doing sidequests and starting a couple of lives (jobs). Every life starts with a tutorial that you can skip, but I wouldn't recommend that if it's your first gameplay. Also, every job starts with a funny mini story. I can wait to keep playing this game, even after playing it for 30 hours. That not something I can say with most games. I won't stop until I maxed out every life. It really is my fantasy life. Buy the game if you> ---------------------------------------------------------------- Like action JRPGs Like the Rune Factoy series Don't mind fetch quests Are a completionist (this is a completionist wet dream) Have an inner child Don't mind reading text without voices Love games Don't buy this game if you> ---------------------------------------------------------------- Already have it :)

Great game but very, very badly optimized for the Vita. Huge framerate drops makes some stages almost unplayable. I had to ask for a refund. A game in this state shouldn't be released.

It's Diablo 3 all over again, but this is worse, because SimCity always was a single player game and now it doesn't even have an option to play it offline. Also, the cities are extremely small, there is no terraforming, can't load a previous save (no experimentation), there is useless and unrealistic empty space between cities and lack of transportation options (no subways!). I hate you EA for ruining one of my favorite franchises.

Ok, I just tried the game. After several minutes trying to understand one of the most confusing UI ever and driving a little bit with one of the little cars and circuit available, I realize that this is a game developed to make people spent money, not to make gamers have fun with a great simulation. It was like if I wanted to do anything a popup appeared asking me to pay. This is a real proof that freemium games are killing gaming. I had high respect for Simbin, but this was the most disappointing experience ever. 3 points for the sound and graphics.

If you are reading the reviews there is a chance you didn't played this game yet. Let me tell you one thing: I envy you. This game has the best and longer FPS campaign ever.

In my system (Core2Duo 4Ghz, 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD4870) the game is unplayable (about 2 FPS on the battle phase) even on low settings. While my PC is not high-end, I can play Total War Shogun on Medium/High settings at 25-30 FPS. I knew the game was buggy and poorly optimized at release, that's why I bought it 5 months after released. Sadly, after several patches the game is still unplayable.

After half an hour I had to stop playing because of the latency. With a latency of 400ms (standard in my country) there was a delay of almost half a second between waving the weapon and hitting a foe. Totally unplayable. Blizzard, why so little love to the single player?? This has nothing to do with DRM. They wanted to create another WoW but they failed miserably. Reinstalling Titan Quest.

I left Skyrim when I started playing this game. I didn't liked the demo at first, but thankfully I gave the game another chance and I'm really hooked into it. If you're a completitionist, obviously some sidequest could get a little repetitive. I'm 40+ hours in the game, with almost a hundred quests completed and didn't found a broken quest (be aware that there are some repeatable tasks that are mistaken as broken quests.) There were some glitches with the camera though, but this is one of the most polished RPG I've ever played (almost JRPG level.) The main problem I have with this game is the main story (no pun intended.) It's really boring, but as I'm a completionist, I dedicate 95% of my gaming time to do side and faction quests, this is not a big deal for me. Pros: + Very big, almost open, world + Fighting system is FUN and require good reflexes along with good stats and gear + Varied sidequests (but some fetch quests) + Lots of lore and spoken dialog with a larger cast than any Elder Scrolls game + Bug free + Addictive Cons - Main story is very boring - Camera (specially during battles) - Simplified RPG system (no level on enemies p. example.) - Not as immersive as Skyrim
