Fallout: New Vegas

Ah, Fallout: New Vegas. The first Fallout game I've played, and a nice introduction as well. Fallout: New Vegas has that.... Bethesda feel. You know, the same little details that are in most Bethesda games. Big, open world, tons of quests and side quests, a large selection of weapons, mods (if you own it on PC), and a whole lot more. However, as it is a very big game, it has lots of bugs and glitches. Some of them may crash your game, or cause some weird graphical errors, but that's fine. It's the game breaking bugs that you gotta worry about. These usually happen when you don't install a mod right, and can seriously break your game where you can't play it. Like, you REALLY can't play it. Uninstalling it won't work (in most cases) and sometimes you may even spend hundreds of dollars just re-buying the game. Game breaking bugs aside, Fallout: New Vegas is definitely worth your money.

I played Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and I loved it. This, however, is a disgrace. Don't buy this game, don't even THINK about buying this game. It's just another bad mobile game that tries to lead you in and make you give them a large amount of your money just to play it. Don't get this game unless you hate yourself.

Penumbra: Overture

Some people say this is a copy of Amnesia, but that's not true. In fact, it's made by the same people, and even was made before Amnesia. Although, Amnesia is scarier, the Penumbra series is still a great series. The game has clever puzzles, interesting characters, and a great story. It may not be that scary, but it still keeps you on the edge of your seat. The atmosphere is pretty good for a survival horror game, and area in which you can explore is pretty big. Overall, this game is pretty good, but what about the bad parts? Well, the game is short, the notes you collect through out the game can sometimes be a bit confusing, and the graphics aren't amazing. Although, for its time, the graphics aren't to bad. It's enough to live with, but not so bad that you'll quit playing the game instantly.

This is quite a bad game. Plenty of bugs, unrealistic physics, boring gameplay, etc. If you play video games, you don't farm. If your a farmer, you don't play video games! So right of the bat it's difficult to see who this game is for. Sure a kid might play it but that's about it. Don't buy it.

Minecraft is an amazing game. But it's just not as good on Xbox 360 as it was on the PC. They're both great, just the Xbox version isn't a s good. For Minecraft on PC I gave it a 9. Here I gave it an 8. Just the fact that your playing a game that usually needs quick movement is not so good on a controller. It's just a downgraded version. Buy this on PC but if 360 is the only option, go for it.

Garry's Mod

Garry's Mod is the sandbox version of Half Life 2. It's insane. Everything from Half Life 2 is in this, and you can do whatever you want. What adds to this amazing game is the Steam Workshop. People are creating things everyday. It's as simple as looking for what you want, and adding to the game. You don't even need the mods if you don't want them! Garry's Mod comes with enough stuff already in the game for you to be satisfied. Some things do take some help or getting used to, but most things are super easy. Another thing that adds to the awesomeness is price. Only $10, and can be very cheap on sales. This game is my favorite all time game. If you want it, buy it.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, is an improvement to the last. But yet it still lacks some things, and is annoying in some aspects. One of them is the dialogue. The voices are recycled quite a bit, as well as the things they say. But the great things counter-act that. Cave and ruin exploring, fighting dragons, tons of side-quests, and so much more. Even better, there are no huge glitches or bugs that make the game entirely unplayable. The only major bug I found was about 7-8 hours into the game, and a simple reload could fix it. I indeed suggest this game, but if you do, buy the PC version, as the console version fall a bit short.

Minecraft deserves a good score. It may be made out of blocks, but it's still a good game. Minecraft is a perfect example of gameplay over graphics. There is tons of things to do. There is not limits to what you can build. Some people think that all you do in Minecraft is mine. But really, there is so much more. Hunting, crafting, building, and of course, mining. With over 1,000,000 sales, this game really get a high score on lots of people's lists. The only major problem is the multiplayer servers. Big servers tend to have people and even staff that don't follow the rules, and makes it T or M rated instead of 10+, so I do suggest your child that may play this, have caution. This game deserves my 9 out of 10 and a place on my top 3 games list. Don't pass this up people. you won't regret it.
