I didn't expect to like this game but I was bored 2 days ago and fired it up. Already finished 1 playthrough. Had to keep playing to see what would happen next. Good chance I will play it again at least once to see what I can change in the story. It looks like there A lot of could be a lot of different paths and endings

Having a lot of fun playing co-op. Hoping for some changes to pvp. Somewhat annoying changing guns and gear to increase your gear score but it gives you the opportunity to try a lot of weapons. Microtransactions? Couldn't care less, unlikely to spend any money on them and most of them are for the Ultra Lazy. Bugs will be fixed and can't wait for Terminator DLC

The Evil Within10

I love this game ... and I hate it a bit too because it is so damn hard. Other than that my biggest complaint is fairly long loading screen times. Very annoying if you are dying a lot. Just came back to this today and partway through Chapter 6 which was hell on me but I finally am getting the hang of this and it is very rewarding (relief) to advance. Looking forward to the rest of it and possibly Evil Within 2

Cool idea. Unique style and old school feel. Seems kind of difficult. Very long wait times to get into a match so far. Might be some matchmaking issues but only first day. Definitely worth checking out but they need to improve the time it takes to get into a game.

Fun game. Steep learning curve, punishes stupidity and recklessness. Definitely need to learn the maps. Should be good for long term enjoyment. Game has been rebalanced to make operators more viable / less over powered. Cool maps, good graphics. Can't wait to see what the new modes will be. Lots of differing strategies to employ. Every match is different. April 2, 2017 just upgraded to a 9. It would be a 10 without the server issues buy I believe it is getting better.

First up -zero ratings for this indicates that you are ****. It is not a single player game and this should have been clear to anyone before. Likely you didn't even play the game and if you did buy it on release day hoping for single player and are now upset you probably mindlessly buy every game that comes out. Clearly just attacking the game ... anyway, very good graphics, awesome sounds, a decent amount of content ( I still need to play Supremacy in MP and have not touched the co-op/single player missions yet other than the beta). Bottom line this is a fun casual shooter with good variety. A Star Wars fan's heaven. It is not a technical strategic shooter like Killzone especially with the lack of non party communication and call outs would be difficult at best on these maps. It is more strategic than any COD game though. You can't just run around stabbing people and killing everyone with one or 2 shots. My biggest complaint would probably be the lack of mic communication with the whole team. I do like the partner system like the fireteams in Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Also people saying this is Battlefield with a Star Wars skin are out to lunch as well. It may get boring if you play it relentlessly hours a day for 6 months but what game wouldn't. I am still playing Killzone 2 years later and it had 17 maps in the end. This will end up with 25 if you get all the season pass stuff. Not happy about the $80 price for that in Canada but I will probably shell out for it because I think the fun to be had will justify that. Watch some streams and ask people you know who have actually played it but do not listen to MORONS rating this a zero. It would be like giving Wolfenstein: The New Order a zero because it lacked multiplayer. Solid 8/10

Very boring with good graphics. A lazy gamer might find it passable since it is mostly cut scenes - literally. I didn't believe it was to that extent until I bought on a PSN sale for $8 and saw it for myself. $8 is about right for the actual 3 levels of action you get and those parts were just OK

I bought this when it came out but only played the Prologue to start. I heard all the bad press and was going to wait for the game to be fixed. Just started playing this week and midway through Memory 9 I am having lots of fun. Haven't had any crashes or noticed any bugs. Sometimes the controls don't do exactly what you want them to such as trying to get through windows on buildings. I usually have to try more than once. Other than that I have been very entertained. Somewhat surprised because of the bad user reviews. If you want to give it a try don't let the bad reviews, especially the early ones, dissuade you.

Killzone: Shadow Fall10
Nov 8, 2014
This is absolutely the best multiplayer available. This is in general a high health low damage shooter compared to others which results in enjoyable gun battles. That being said scoring a headshot with ANY weapon is a kill. Difference between this and COD is you have to do your OWN aiming (no assist). Teamwork is of the utmost importance in Killzone. New players just need to get used to the different pacing, mission types, abilities and gunplay and they will grow to love Killzone Shadow Fall. Graphics are some of the best I have seen. Maps are very well made and varied although a little more CQC than previous Killzone titles. Since launch their have been many welcome changes. Overpowered weapons and abilities were nerfed & underpowered weapons and abilities were buffed. Challenge requirements were adjusted. Ranking system tied to challenges was introduced. New maps were added for FREE. Automata skins, player skins, player cards, cross hair reticules, voice packs, end of game moves were all added for more customization. Clan support was finally added with more support to come. If you are reading this and tried the game at launch please give it another shot as you may be surprised. The best experience will always come from Extended Warzone or Classic as opposed to Team Deathmatch but sadly that is what the majority of newcomers gravitate towards due to familuarity with COD. Trust me you are missing out. Get a mic and talk to the veterans and most will help you out with all the little nuances of the game. As far Single Player it got a bum rap from reviewers as well. It is quite different from KZ2 and KZ3 style but there is still sections of intense battle. There are sections where you have great freedom in the way you go about finishing the level ( routes, order, stealth or guns blazing). You can pick up various different weapons to change up gameplay. The OWL can allow you to play the game several diffetent styles depending on how you use it. Pick up the season pass to go with this game for 20 bucks to get expansion packs and the Intercept Co-op. Killzone is easy to find at reduced prices as well so it is a no brainer.

Killzone: Shadow Fall - Intercept8

This co-op mode now has the full 10 maps which are quite varied. Difficulty has been ramped up from what it was at launch (too easy at the start) and challenge requirements were scaled back for new weapon unlocks. All in all an enjoyable break from the multiplayer. Not going to sugar coat the player count though because it is brutal although better on weekends. You will need to add friends that want to play this to ensure you get full games especially for modes other than "quick game". Free with season pass on Killzone which is only $20 or $10 Stand alone makes me wonder why more people aren't playing. Maybe when they are sick of Destiny and COD it will pick up. The game itself regardless of player count is solid and beautiful

Looks really good graphically and game play is good for a side scrolling shooter. This game is extremely difficult and while fun at the start you won't want to play it too much if you can't advance. Great if you want a challenge (even on normal difficulty) but not so much if you don't have the patience. I got it free on PS plus so I'm not complaining but don't buy it unless you really like that style of game and have some skill

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist8
Nov 12, 2013
The first Splinter Cell game I have ever played but it won't be the last. Haven't played much of campaign yet but so far so good. Interesting missions, wave missions were especially entertaining considering you can go about them stealthy or guns blazing. Lots of gadgets and guns for variety and the multiplayer is a welcome break from the Call of Duty crap. When they make one for PS4 I'll be buying it. So far it has held my interest more than The Last of Us.
