Brilliant show. I really didn't think I would like the show, so I almost passed it up. I'm very glad I gave it a chance. The characters are well developed, and the acting is suspenseful, without being over-the-top. I'm tired of films and tv shows with over-acting, and Lily Rabe gives a great performance of someone who is used to keeping things under control, while things unfold beyond her control. I've known people in stressful, power positions who must maintain their composure when events are rapidly degenerating into chaos, and Rabe pulls it off flawlessly. It is my favorite Summer show this year...I find myself "waiting" for each weeks episode. I would definitely recommend 'The Whispers' as a must see, and I hope the networks come out with more shows like this one.
