Animal Crossing: New Horizons10
Feb 1, 2026
The definitive version of Animal Crossing New Horizons has arrived on Switch 2. It feels like a whole new game again! Faster loading, better graphics, and squeezing between furniture has never felt this good. The addition of Joycon-2 Mouse Mode support for interior decoration, designs, and bulletin board messages is nice, though a little underwhelming. The Megaphone is also back for the Switch 2 Edition, allowing you to find wandering villagers more easily by calling their name into the system's mic. If you're into game chat, go ahead and hook up a webcam to let your friends see your face hovering above you in online sessions. The Hotel and Dream Islands give you even more space to go nuts decorating and terraforming. 10/10, absolutely worth the upgrade, or buying this version if it's your first time.

Kirby Air Riders10
Nov 21, 2025
Sakurai is back on top! Air Riders is Kirby Air Ride game he always wanted to make and I'm loving it. This is even better than Super Smash Brothers. 10 out of 10, Kirby Air Riders has something to enjoy for everyone. Kid Icarus up next?

Pokemon Legends: Z-A10
Oct 30, 2025
Sure, it's a half finished Pokemon game, but it's quite a bit of fun and has a compelling single player experience. Realtime pokemon battles against trainers? Yes. please. Some issues with flow, eg drop lock-on to reposition faster can be patched up easy. Online, the seasonal ranked battle system busted as heck, if you are only interested in competitive online play, that's where they truly dropped the ball here. 10/10 to counter the unfair review bombers, dropping zeros. My real score? 8/10, shows great potential for the series going forward.

Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush10
Oct 2, 2025
Emerald Rush makes Donkey Kong Bananza insanely replayable with its Roguelite mode. If you like DK Bananza at all, this is a no-brainer for just $20. I find myself saying "Just one more Emerald Rush, and before I know it I've played for several hours.

FINAL FANTASY TACTICS - The Ivalice Chronicles10
Oct 2, 2025
Lovely remaster based upon the 1997 original with full voice acting, smoother mechanics and Quality-of-Life features. This release also comes with an additional Classic Mode which allows you to experience the game with it's original 1997 graphical styling combined with the 2007 War of the Lions version dialogue, which was considered by many to be their preferred localization.

Absolute gem. This love letter to Jet Set Radio franchise brings fresh ideas and all the futuristic funk you could hope to see. Hideki Naganuma himself contributes to the soundtrack which is rounded out with other solid tracks from indie acts.

Before this release, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City were approaching unplayable inaccessibility and San Andreas was showing its age.
