What a borefest. Dave kills it as usual but he couldn’t put this whole thing on his back. All the other actors were garbage. Tig notaro being the worst one out of all of them. Terrible recast for D’elia and her impersonation of him is cringey. Had a lot of potential to be better. Idk how they got a deal for a prequel series.

Based a true story is fine with me. The fact that the movie had a very misleading trailer, I went in thinking it was going to be some sort of action packed bro comedy. I was very wrong, it was the most boring depiction of gun runners I've ever seen (even though they are "arms dealers"). Get ready to sit down and gnaw your arm off. The "romance" in the movie felt so forced and overall made me cringe.
