Slow and boring. Watching it was almost torturous. Can't believe this is getting good reviews. One of the worst films I've seen in some time. I think some critics are mistaking somber vagueness for profundity.

Really enjoyed it. Funny and interesting. Ladybird is as complex as real people are and I wish all films were this entertaining. Greta Gerwig did a great job casting and directing and as much as I enjoy her acting, I hope she directs more films too.

It's the Hillary Clinton of super hero movies. Predictable, unfunny, even offensive at times - but hey it's a woman in the lead! By far the biggest problem is Gal Gadot - she can't act, she can barely speak English. That a male director cast a beauty pageant winner and underwear model as Wonder Woman says it all. This is one of the least feminist movies released last year. If you want to see a kick-ass female lead character check out Mad Max: Fury Road. A far superior film with an actual actress, and a great one at that, in the lead role.

Really took us by surprise. Sweet and funny with a great cast. Mike B wrote and directed and I hope he makes more films like this. He has an eye and ear for character that we could use more of.
