Nothing too deep
Just an absolutely adorable feel-good game, that touches your heartstrings in the most calming, warm way possible. just adorable.Love the ending.
It's so fun
It's a bit wonky at times but the movement, music, aesthetic and vibes are just so goofily awesome, and dripping with humour and passion
Fast psychotic italian man.
Gameplay gets boring at times, but the art direction, music and puzzles are consistently STUNNING. **** love this game so much omg It's just so artistic
Doesn't quite reach the simplistic wonder of the original game, but it's still amazing. And for the same reasons. Art, ai, world, philosophy, animation, designs, all stunning.
**** unfair organic ecosystem, the genius AI design, the sprawling world, so much philosophical material, the lore, all just exquisite. Stunning visuals, great procedural animation, beautiful world and level design.Love it.
Perfection.

I mean it's alright
The gameplay and atmosphere and visuals and story are really nice
But the character designs and cutscenes and especially character animations are startlingly annoying
I was also unnerved cos they don't blink
Can excuse the dialogue cos translation
It's fun but mediocre
Great music tho

This game changed everything.
Hollow Knight was a random exploding success, a genre definer, something every subsequent metroidvania is held up to and compared with. The gameplay loop is sleek and sharp, the map and currency systems solid, the charm builds customisable. Exploration is rewarded and there is no right way to play. The sense of wonder and dread as we explore the buried kingdom, the challenge of the bosses and the platforming, the utterly stunning world and character design, and Christopher Larkin's generational soundtrack, all come together into what I dare call the prime metroidvania. This game has held strong, the lore and horrifically tragic story keeping audiences engaged for more than half a decade, and is a prime example of how love for the craft always beats the love of cash. Gaming changed with Hollow Knight. It wasn't obvious at first, but the release of Silksong makes it all the more clear.
OMG IT'S SO CUTE
Nothing huge, nothing revolutionary. Just a short, self-aware, fun, cozy little game about hiking. Beautifully designed, funny, and just overall super **** minus half a star is because of the horrendous camera, however. It's so inconvenient and it's hard to find anything at all with it.
Frustrating at times, but still beautifully animated, great gameplay, great progression system, and hauntingly beautiful themes and messages. It's a surrealist nightmare; a little nightmare. the camera and objects are amazing at showing scale, enemies are built up and their climax appearances are perfect, it's just wonderful. love it.
ConfusingThe gameplay and grapple hook are peak asf
The story is great, with a strong root in folklore in a twisted but funny way, keeping things dark and fascinating
Bosses are... frankly pretty bad (Excluding Maya, Witch Elicia and Witch Ameli)
Beautiful music (Except the **** boss theme, why didn't they give each one their own)
Stunning graphics and animations. The aesthetics and ambience of each region is beautifully distinct.
It's pretty good
Absolutely **** hilarious (though not as much as West)
Fun combat, great story progression, enjoyable quests, and immaculate atmosphere. This is peak satire.
God **** DAYUMN IT
The best part of the game is undeniably the combat an movement; it's so **** smooth and fun and greatThe graphic design is beautiful, and the way the enemies and characters and environments turn trash into the entire set is just so fun and creative
The bosses range from okay to absolute amazing to fight, and the themes and colours and vibes they give are just splendid
Great music too
And of course, a really nice story about why capitalism and nihilism are bad (i love it), and a subtle anti-pollution message that doesn't force it down your ****'s great.
Really annoying in the best way
Really good story, told through the smooth gameplay without unnecessary cutscenes
The art style, sound design and everything else contribute immensely to the sense of dread and danger that permeates the entire workflow
Rules change at random, threats from warring forces, and a morality that often clashes with orders, all while trying not to starve
The endings and progression are just splendid
Being allowed to rewind your progress and start new timeline saves is incredibly convenient
And of course, the atmosphere. Arstotzka so good, we no need passport
Hilarious, charming, adorable, and also creepy asf
It has some balance issues but it's overall a really fun game, yeah i mean both the combat and cult
Music and art is peak asf i love the soundtrackkkk

This game is incredible.
The visual and map design of every area is absolutely stunning, and completely immersive. Every aspect of the self-declared Taopunk world is fleshed out and displayed in all its disgusting and beautiful glory. The characters are all real, fleshed out and solid, having complete arcs based in chinese myth and philosophy, and is a beautiful execution of the principles of taoism. Every interaction stirs joy, adoration, terror or sadness, and the revealing of past and future moments keeps an immensely strong emotional core throughout the game. The smooth combat and the parry/talisman system is innovative, fast, and incredible. The final boss is the best boss I've ever fought in a metroidvania to date, yes even more than Silksong. The quality of life features and conveniences seamlessly fit into the harrowingly difficult gameplay loop, and demands constant attention, both during the softest and the roughest moments. An utter masterpiece that stays engaging throughout its playtime, and leaves you with a lot to think about.
OMG IT'S SO CUTE
The entire vibe is so casualI love how the book notes are self aware like the devs are literally chatting with us lol
The art is adorable and frankly really pretty
And it's got a nice story and emotional core
Not to mention really good music and atmosphere
A fun, charming, brain-racking premise, and a solid execution. Really good game.
Ultros is an interesting game.
Notably, it's a visual masterpiece. Absolute stunner of an acid trip. Next, the seed gimmick and the resetting cycles are incredibly unique and fascinating design choices, making for an utterly unique experience. It's a bit clunky at times, confusing in the bad way, and generally a little scattered, but it's good.

Awww
Gorgeous art style, really fun and smooth gameplay, intuitive and not very stressful, and makes good use of limited mechanics in multiple ways. Polished, clean and fun, and doesn't overstay its welcome.
Omfg
It's everything good about Gris and then you add the gameplay value Gris slightly lacked on (by design but still)
DAMN
Absolutely stunning artwork that's distinct from Gris
Stellar soundtrack
Actually really fun gameplay and clean, polished combat and movement
And the collectibles are both secretive and fun to find but also intuitive and sensible
It doesn't reach the same level of artistic beauty as Gris but it's a damn **** good game all the same
Really goddamn good game
Amazing visuals, super smooth and rewarding combat loops, and a generally polished experience. It made no sense, and it leans really hard into the whole "cryptic" thing, but tis acceptable. The animations especially are absolutely amazing, being choppy and fast and capturing the action. The bosses could've been done a little better but generally are good enough. Overall, the game is just an art piece. The stunning visuals and the perfect ambient soundtrack just contribute to the artpiecey vibe of the game that's really hard to pull off. Just mesmerising and stunning.
Very solid
The atmosphere is definitely the best part of the game, with many areas being close to even Hollow Knight in its terms. Just the vibes and overall game design and loop is very polished and smooth and convenient
The combat isn't perfect but it's really versatile and fun to play
The backtracking is insanely satisfying, albeit very difficult to find everything
The bosses are sometimes a bit eh but mostly really good
Story and stuff is reeeellly good
Animations could be less wonky but that's a tiny complaint
Overrall really solid, but with some noticeable kinks
All A and B sides finished
And holy ****
MASTERPIECE
It's so infuriating but so fair and intuitive at the same time and poses an incredible experience in terms of challenge
Each place is unique and beautiful
Memorable characters
And dang that story is just perfect
Each level gimmick is so refined, clean and balanced and also suits the theme of each one
The movement and animations are smooth and extremely satisfying and responsive
And the music also slaps Love it
Only complaint is 8B is just agonising
Wow
Okay so i'll get it out there: the story and world of this game is IMPECCABLE
The art style is a beauty
The area designs and atmospheres are creepy and interesting
The characters are really human and funny, even when sometimes they aren't human anymore
And the way it handles the moral dilemmas of apocalypse with EMPATHY is just beautiful
That's what makes this world so beautiful to me. The empathy behind it. Even as the world burns, there is room for love and **** writing of the game is masterful. The dialogues, jokes, descriptions, characters, the world as a whole is an artistic and literary beauty.
Yeah. I love the game, and its story will stick with me for a goddamn while.
