They broke the game so severely with the last "update" (11/10/2025) that I can't even run it on the correct monitor. Bethesda needs to be liquidated as a studio, they're clearly incapable of making working software at this point, and they even break stuff they made A DECADE AGO. What an absolute disgrace to what they used to be.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I hit a gamebreaking bug more than 40 hours in that made it impossible to complete the game. Last time I EVER preorder a game from these people, or even buy anything from them until they've had a good year or so to fix their broken garbage first.

It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to play this game given the mind numbingly stupid decision to not allow players to abandon missions that they've accepted, but that they're not ready for. I've requested a refund for this pile of garbage, considering my save is now trapped in a mission I can't complete and yet was never warned about. It's not like they tell you ahead of time either, they just give a level recommendation that tends to be WILDLY lower than what you actually need to finish whatever mission you've picked up. When it suddenly puts an enemy group in front of you that's literally impossible to beat at the level the quest recommended, oh whoops! YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE MISSION ANYWAYS. YOU'RE LITERALLY BLOCKED FROM DOING ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL YOU DO.....Deleted this piece of trash and requested a refund It's literally unplayable. Do not buy this garbage.

Creation club doesn't even work. Just says "Operation can't be completed" and boots me to the title screen. Decided to give some of the stuff from the creation club a go after watching the tv series, and I can confidently say that between this and Starfield I won't ever be buying anything from bethesda again.

WAY, WAY too hard, even on the most forgiving difficulty. I've uninstalled it, as it's absolutely impossible to finish, and I'm done wasting my free time getting frustrated with it. What a waste of $70.

The level design is absolutely unforgivable. Puzzles have zero hints, it's taken me HOURS to get through areas before, all obviously to pad the length of the game without actually including more content. The performance is also unforgivable. I can get 160 FPS out of cyberpunk 2077 on max settings, and my computer is struggling to get 40 fps out of this hot pile of garbage on the lowest these morons offer. I've uninstalled it at this point, and won't EVER buy anything they've made before a good month-long period to ensure they've actually delivered what they advertised. Their word means nothing, going forward. EA and respawn both. Don't reward them, EITHER OF THEM, for this garbage.

Absolutely terrible at explaining mechanics. I've had to look at a guide 3 times within the first 5 MINUTES of the game, and it's not unwarranted. Just lazy game design. ignore the trolls writing the 0-1 star reviews. Most of them outright admit they didn't even finish the game. It's criminally underrated. It's a commentary on revenge and what it does to a person.

Same broken, unbalanced piece of trash as the first game. It's also pretty dumb that metacritic requires these reviews to be at least 75 characters long, as this game really doesn't deserve the time it took to type this sentence so I could post this.

This expansions is one of the worst balanced pieces of content I've ever played. Whatever moron made the level design for this put such an abnormally huge gap between respawn points in one place that simply dying, getting back to where you'd died, and trying again is enough to respawn all the enemies you'd already killed (The impound area, for reference). Save your money.

Almost perfect. My only complaints are the obnoxious, unskippable tutorials and how hard it is to find certain quest markers later in the game. Story is amazing, game play is amazing, music is amazing, environments are amazing.

I just died 30 times to the first boss, and still never beat it. This isn't challenging, it's poorly designed and stupid. Uninstalling this pile of garbage and getting a refund.

Game's a piece of garbage. Whoever was responsible for QA deserves to starve. Yet again EA decided to punish PC players, and specifically steam players. They are giving priority to origin, because they know that's the only way they'd ever convince anyone to spend a dime on that piece of garbage platform, and even then they're making pc in general wait half a day past when console players get to play this game. Pretty much every major publication's mentioned the lack of settings and the minimal improvements over the originals, all on decade old games. They'll still likely be better than anything this gutted developer is capable of putting out today, but it's still not worth the price tag. I will NEVER buy anything else EA's had their grubby hands on. Made that decision a long time ago, and made the poor decision to break it for this, but I'm refunding it. I won't ever make that poor choice again. EDIT: Also, note that there's ALREADY talk, LESS THAN AN HOUR IN, of them reviving the multiplayer, complete with lootboxes (Of course, not remembering anything you'd unlocked in the previous games. Gotta start shoveling cash towards them from scratch). Just gain some self respect, keep your memories of the original games, and stop giving these people your money rofl. They've proven time, and time, and time again that they don't deserve it, and they're not gonna magically change this time, nor the next time, nor the time after that.

This game is ducking impossible rofl. I'm no stranger to rpg's, but this is ridiculous. It's hard to the point that it's not really fun to play. Save your money for a better designed game. Uninstalled and moved on. Wish I could get a refund for it because I'm never playing it again.

This game is a piece of garbage. It's horribly balanced, the gameplay relies on hard counters between the characters instead of rewarding skill, the matchmaking system is a flaming pile of garbage that virtually ensures how the game will go before it's even begun, the community is utterly toxic, and you have to play it for 40+ hours a week to stand a chance of success at it. Don't spend a dime on it, not when there are far better games available.

A good dlc. But metacritic should really consider stopping the stupid word requirement for reviews.

Don't listen to the hate, and notice that most of the 0/1 star reviews state that they didn't even play enough to get past the intro. Took a couple of points off for the technical issues, but these definitely aren't enough to actually get in the way of the game.
