Masterpiece among logic game. No words needed, yet soon you'll understand many complex rules of the game. Easy to learn, hard to master.

Nearly a masterpiece — but dragged down by too many side activities and repetitive content (looking at you, pigeon hunts…), even though the main story is excellent.

A great game, as usual from Insomniac – but! You can feel the story picks up pace toward the end and starts rushing to the finale. It almost feels like they ran out of time or **** first part of the game offers truly amazing missions, new mechanics, creative ideas, and fantastic storytelling — and then, suddenly, it’s over. Some side stories remain completely unresolved, and overall the game feels too short. (A platinum trophy in under 25 hours for a €70 game???)

A big (maybe too big) open world game, where side quests, minigames, and other activities demand more attention than the main story — which is confusing, offers little explanation, and poorly conveys the motivations of some characters. Their irrational behavior and the absence of crucial moments from the original story are presented almost emotionlessly, as if the game itself can't decide whether to focus on the original plot or its "enhanced" remake narrative.

It's good but it's not fully there yet. I admire the decision of changing the nation during ages, thought it would make more sense (IMHO) to change a leader of a nation, rather than nation itself, but what can I say... Comparing to Civ VI some elements are missing (but they will be added in future DLC obviously), but thefoundation isfoundation is funny, solid, complex, maybe a little more difficult to understand, but maybe it's just me. What I MUST say as a negative, is terrible UI - altough they claimed that the game is "console" friendly, small icons, missing legend to some buttons (L3 if you want to see what you're about to research), nice but somehow difficult to differ colour scheme makes it more challenging than it should be. Icon that you're in war with someone is nearly invisible, if you're more than 50cm from the TV and the list goes on...
