Imagine what a game might be like if some high school students had to make one for their computer science project. That is more or less what this game feels like. I play plenty of indie games, even ones with simplistic pixel graphics. RoA BoD however is just a blatant example of how unprofessional, or more so, unskilled developers make a game. Im sure the intentions were high, but the road to hell.... well... you get the idea. This is the first game in over 10 years that I have asked for a refund for.

At release, this game felt unfinished and quickly lost its fun aspect. It was at best, a 6 out of 10. However, the devs have been really putting a TON of work into the game in the form of content, new gameplay, and refined mechanics, the result of which is now a much more fun and enjoyable game. I went from playing maybe 2-3 hours a week, to playing 2-3 hours a day. As of the date im writing this, Marvel Heroes is the most fun ARPG on the market, with even more new and exciting things to come! The devs should take pride in how they turned this game around for the better. Well done.

I enjoyed the first game, it was unique, but it lacked any real direction, and got very redundant. Borderlands 2 vastly improves upon the first game by having a very immersive and well acted storyline that really brings the characters to life and immerses the players in the games world. The action is more fast based and explosive than the first game, and the loot options seem more practical and refined. Overall, this game is amazing. Probably the best game of its genre in years. They must have done something right, because I cant wait for new DLC to be release so I can play the game more. Bring on part 3!!!
