Kinect Star Wars3

Star Wars has had it's fair share of good games and bad games, but I think this one may be one of the worst ones out there. Why would Star Wars be milking money like this? The kinect may be for kids even so, some controls don't work correctly. Story mode had it's fair share of fun moments, but the speed bikes were too hard to maneuver. Yet, the space battles were easy? Um...this is confusing. Cutscenes are weak and the story doesn't make much sense either. Podracing is hard as well. If turning right you'll turn left and vice versa. You may have to wipe off water and dirt sometimes, but you'll slam into a wall. Dancing was a weird idea. It's kind of a ripoff of Dance Central. What gave them this idea? Why? It's work really well but you'll get bored after hearing some of the lyrics. Rancor Rampage did work and it was the only mode where I had fun. You could just move your arms and legs and destroy everything. This was the only mode keeping me entertained the most and because it worked great. Lightsaber duels do NOT work. You defend, then kick them, and then attack. Rinse and repeat. This is not what we were expecting or what we wanted. I'm even a little ashamed to have played this, but luckily I rented it through Gamefly. I'm not a big Star Wars fan and even I found some of the references stupid. I'm going back to playing the Gunstringer in the meantime until another good Kinect comes out.

Yeah...I tried liking this game, I really tried. The combat is hard to master, the music keeps repeating, but the only good part of this game is that Hatchiyack from the OVA finally makes an appearance. That only makes me keep this game. That's all I could say. If you're a true DBZ game I say go ahead and purchase this game. Eventually you may figure out the fighting controls better than me.

After playing both Story, Hero Mode, and online. This game is almost like flipping a coin. If you press X and someone else presses X your opponent attacks you and vice versa with the Y button. If you press X and your opponent presses Y then you have the upper hand. Back and forth that's the fighting of this game. You can charge up and use your super attacks after beating up your opponent. The Story is entertaining but more battles and characters could have been used. Hero mode is unique and a first in a DBZ game. You start out weak but you can improve after each story battle. Beware though that giant boss battles take time to get used to. Online works, but finding people is a little hard. What do I think? I think this has one of the best graphics for a DBZ game, the combat is pretty weak. But it'll keep you on the edge of your seat.

It's both good and bad. Sure the characters are a little under-developed but the concept here is different and unique. Tactics and most of the enemies will repeat over and over again but I'm still enjoying it after all. IGN was a little harsh on it giving it a 3 (awful), but in my opinion this is still a game that should be at least be looked at.
