I discovered this series on the 3DS, and since then, l hadn't really enjoyed another music game. All other rhythm games rely on visual cues and memorization. You appear to be practicing your rhythm skills, but, in reality, you're just trying to react to a bunch of fast symbols appearing on the screen. Rhythm Heaven is TRULY a rhythm game. All your cues are acoustic, so you can pass any level with your eyes closed. That really helps you feel the music and tell the difference, for example, between a 2/4 and a 3/4 time. I simply adore this game! After playing it for a while, I'm analyzing the rhythmic patterns of everything around me... Haha. The new songs, levels and side activities are fun, and the very recognizable art brings a lot of nostalgia. Just play this game and have a ball!
