The House in Fata Morgana - Dreams of the Revenants Edition -0
Aug 8, 2021
The game is bland, original, and derivative. Why it's top 4 of the greatest games of all time is absolutely absurd. The devs should be ashamed of making such a terrible effing game.

Pokemon Emerald Version9

Emerald is a masterpiece. Gen 3 is a masterpiece. If you haven't played Pokemon, you can't do much better than play this one.

Wii Sports Resort9

Why Nintendo hasn't made a table tennis game like in Wii Sports Resort that is as good as this is baffling. Easily the best game here and still plays well in 2021.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time7
Aug 8, 2021
It's a good entry, but not a great one. Captures Crash in its most iconic form, but for some reason, doesn't really hold my interest. The trailer for this game is a masterpiece—the game... not so much.

Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir7

6.5 - Haven't finished it because it barely kept my interest. Although it is a pretty solid point and click. Hotel Dusk/Last Window is better, but if I had to recommend FDC, I'd probably say give it a shot.

Hotel Dusk: Room 2158
Aug 8, 2021
If you can, play the sequel Last Window. It's better in almost every way, but Hotel Dusk is still a very solid game. A sleeper hit on the DS.

Luigi's Mansion9

Excellent, excellent game. I play this every year on Halloween and made it a tradition. It is a tech demo game and very short, but the charm and mature atmosphere make this a must-play. Graphics still hold up well 20 years later.

Mario Golf: Super Rush6
Aug 8, 2021
People seem to hate on XC golf, but I like it. It provides a challenge to the golf formula. Overall though, the game is a shell of the GameCube and N64 versions. The story mode is a drag with RPG elements half-baked in. Graphics are meh. Speed and battle golf aren't nearly as fun as they were thought of to be.

TOK is your standard Color Splash 2. If you hated CS, there is a very likely chance you will hate TOK. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems refuse to listen to fans of classic PM, and TOK is another middle finger to that audience. No EXP points, bad tattling system, over-emphasized paper elements shoved down your throat, and an uninspiring battle system to boot. Not to mention a tutorial session that stretches out for the first 60 minutes telling you the most obvious of things to do. It will be bound to turn you off right away. Do not waste your time and money with this if you are a TTYD and 64 purist. Put it towards Bug Fables and support a brilliant indie game that took nearly 5 years to make.

Just a terrible game, no doubt. A crappy sequel that lost all the heart of the original.
