Bandai Namco's business practices and monetization strategy have killed my interest in Tekken. In terms of gameplay, Tekken 8 is a pretty strong 8.5/10 or so, but the way the game is monetized is straight up disgusting.

This game is pure bliss for an older gamer who grew up on the 1987 cartoon. Turtles in Time has been dethroned!

If you're even bothering to read this, then you already know why it's 0/10.

Very solid and interesting action game. Bits of Uncharted and Assassin's Creed intertwined with movies such as Total Recall or Blade Runner. Nilin is also pretty awesome and is all the right parts badass, interesting, and sexy.

Getting 404 when I try to leave a longer review. 5/10 because it runs worse than original.

Can't even play a game I paid $90 for. Won't be touching GT8 if the insane grinding, microtransactions, and server instability are a sign of things to come in the future.

Two years later, and there are still things that are NOT in the game that advertised on the back of the game's case. Many cars are still "standard" (meaning imported and upscaled from the PS2). Lazy, lazy, LAZY game. Gran Turismo is not the innovator it used to be. Polyphony Digital is just phoning it in these days.

I dunno, I'm having fun playing through the campaign and fiddling with the world editor again. Granted the game doesn't look as beautiful and crisp as Blizzard let on, but it still looks okay. The character models and buildings look well enough when you zoom in. Kind of confused why we still have the old UI when we saw promotional videos showcasing a brand new one. but whatever. Haven't played any online games yet, which is the part of the game that a lot of people seem to be complaining about. Giving this a 7/10 just because, honestly, it's just a slightly nicer looking WC3 with a few things made clunkier (like having to make an online custom game to be able to play against AI, kind of weird). It's still WC3, which undoubtedly is one of the top 3 best RTS games of all time, so it has that going for it.

Hey, can we do something about the review bombing and false statements like claiming the game has microtransactions when it only has a VERY small and almost meaningless in-game store? The launch problems have been sorted out and the game is more than fine on PS4. Probably the best MK game yet. Actual gameplay is A+. My only issue is that the Krypt is still a little too time consuming, but I'm here to play a FIGHTING game first and foremost and MK11 succeeds brilliantly as one.

I'd give it something higher than a 1/10, maybe even a passing grade, if I could progress past the start. I simply can't. I've died over 20 times since stepping foot into the first new zone and trying to do the first story mission. I had no problems in this game before the expansion, and I'm leveling a revenant without any problems... so why is it so hard now? I literally can't progress past the first story mission in Dry Tops or wherever I am. I wanted an MMO to play, so I came back to GW2 and I bought the expansion despite being fairly poor, but I figured I'd get hours of enjoyment out of it and that would offset the cost of the expansion. I feel like I just threw money away instead, money that could have gone towards groceries and such. This is just stupidly difficult, and I was never a bad player previously. Way to go ArenaNet, you've probably left a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of people.

I normally don't like games of this nature, but Cory in the House is exceptional. The dialogue is so funny and witty, and I love the isometric graphics so much. Everything about the game screams quality and you can tell that Handheld Games Corporation poured their heart and soul into this game. The stealth elements in this game are nothing short of amazing. Metal Gear can only wish that it had stealth elements this good!

A very refreshing game that feels completely legit and totally deserves the South Park name. The humour from the show is 100% intact and the gameplay is simplistic but very enjoyable. Having a great time with this one!

I haven't had this much from with an ARPG since Diablo 2. The atmosphere and setting are both bang on, the gameplay (targeting enemies, camera, mechanics, etc.) are all very well done. The only fault I can find in this game is that the story isn't memorable. Aside from that, this game is perfection.

Before I start, I never review on Metacritic. I registered just to post this and, as an amateur game reviewer who takes this sort of thing very seriously, I'm not just blindly gushing in fanboy fashion. This game is just plain awesome. As a veteran of WoW (since 2005), Rift, TOR, and others... I can say that this is a fantastic MMORPG that really reinvents how we progress. EVERYTHING counts as character progression in this game, it's really amazing. You literally do almost anything to gain experience, which allows you to personalize the game to match your play style. ArenaNet made exploring more fun than in any MMO I have played since vanilla WoW in 2005. After playing so many MMOs, the feeling of exploration and wonder wears off and many of the games feel so similar and everything becomes routine... but that is NOT the case here. Exploring has become really interesting and exciting again. There's just so much to do in every zone that it blows my mind. You'll constantly be saying "what's over here/is there anything going on over there?" as you play. It's just so well done. Kudos to ArenaNet. I was tired out from playing MMOs. The same ol' structure that EQ and WoW popularized was getting boring. GW2 shakes things up enough to make even me, someone who was burned out entirely of MMOs, become a fierce addict. This game lives up to the hype that beta players spoke of. I'm hearing no negative comments (that are legit and not juvenile) from players of this game and everyone ingame is having a blast. I'm calling it now, this will be the new king of MMOs. With a free to play business model (after initial purchase of the game) wrapping around such extremely high quality MMO, you'd be crazy not to at least try GW2. This game blows every other MMO out of the water. The hype was real. This is the future of MMOs.
