The goal of this game was to help people be able to work out during the pandemic. However, it has aged poorly since. All you do is swing the joy cons. The emulation of using an actual jump rope is not great; the jump count is not always accurate and you don’t even have to actually jump, although I may be too harsh on that as the technical limitations with the Joy Cons make that happen. You do get to customize your character a bit, and each day has a different “theme”. I feel like the game would have benefited from having an actual daily streak like in Duolingo, because in this game it continues no matter how many days it has been. Overall, I feel like this is something you play once and then maybe play it very rarely since. Luckily it’s free. If you’re interested in fitness I think it’s ok if you try it out but I don’t think you’ll have a great time with it.

This is a very niche game and is very simple. While I personally like the game, I feel like that is probably just a me thing. The premise is simple, and you do level up to unlock new cosmetics, but otherwise, aside from a local multiplayer mode, that’s pretty much the full game. You can probably find the game and its DLCs on sale for $2 if you wait.
