Ah yes, welcome back to another year of "COD stinks, and idk why the game is popular anymore." I'm not even going to lie, the only thing I touched in this game is the multiplayer, and the only reason I played black slop 7 is because I basically got it for free. The multiplayer is the only thing I find fun about this game. I do think it's better than BO6, because there's more options with the movement and how you approach gunfights, except it's pretty much just the same as before. Bang hill, do that until you eventually win the break. The AR especially feels way better than the AMES last year. But... this is call of duty, if you've played a COD game since MW2019, you know what to expect. Ranked however, is still unfun as it use to bein BO6.Once you hit plat, you better have a 4 stack, because there ain't NO WAY you're climbing any higher rank with the absolute burgers the game keeps handing me over and over. When I drop a 40 bomb and my teammates can't break 10 kills, that's just the matchmaking screwing me over, and it's laughable if you think otherwise. Matchmaking is still a problem (shocker) they said they took out SSBM but I'm not convinced, I drop a 40 bomb one game, then can barely make it to 15 the next. It's awful as always, but COD doesn't seem to want to change it so whatever. Campaign and Zombies I didn't even bother touching.Campaign is more of those awful "open combat missions." Which is just spec ops missions, with campaign slapped across it, it is so unbelievably boring and I have no desire to play the story after the 2nd mission, I've seen all there needs to be seen. Zombies is just BO6 zombies, but like a weird take on Tranzit. It's boring and BO6 zombies, while not perfect, was WAAAAAAY better than this. Do I recommend BO7? No. Does BO7 fix COD in anyway? Nope. Is the game fun? Ehhhh it's not the worst COD ever, but it is certainly the laziest. Now they're using AI to make the in game rewards, because Activision would rather do that, then cut maybe 0.5% of their profits to pay for an artist, that alone deserves the middle finger and a "**** this game."

Stay far FAR away from the switch 2 version if you want to play this game. AC shadows is just another basic ubislop open world game they shoved out, it's safe, barely works, and has a story they gave up on a few games ago. However, the switch 2 version is insulting and unacceptable. I thought since they had the power of the switch 2, the game would run well, how wrong I was. On docked mode, you're going to be locked at 30 fps, no other option, which is very disappointing. The textures and background are constantly blurry and jittering. The models look laughable compared to the PS5 and Xbox versions and just the game overall looks HORRIBLE on switch 2. If you play on handheld mode, it's a little better, but if that's the case why don't I just play the game on Xbox or PS5, where the game doesn't look like complete garbage? The handheld mode is a joke and idk why they even bothered, it looks no better than the AC4 bundle on the switch 1, and that ran worse than the 360. I wouldn't advise buying AC shadows at all, but if you do stay far away from the switch 2 version, play on any other console, or better yet PC. This port is a complete joke, and they got me on it.

Now don't let the 0 fool you, COD is probably the best it's been since MW 2019 (Since they made the engine change.) Black ops 6 can be fun, but it doesn't matter when the game won't work. Ever since season 2, the game has just straight bricked my PC multiple times and I can't figure out why. Don't try to direct blame my way "Oh it's your drivers" "Oh you need a better PC" shove it honestly, that was never an issue before so why now? Oh right, it's because the COD dev team is incompetent and can't make their cash cow work properly. The absolute last straw was when I was playing the tomb trying to finish the easter egg. I popped a perkaholic and wonderbar (wonderbar is straight trash btw, I've been told that the wonderbar is supposed to be 50/50 but it isn't. 5 out of the 6 spins I tried I got the ray gun instead of the ice staff, which isn't 50/50 btw.) but I popped those 2 very valuable gobblegums, game crashed my computer and never saved the match, so I literally lost those gobblegums for no reason. And the only way I can even get them is to pay money, and you think I'm stupid enough to do it after a stunt like that? Forget it. The spin system is also straight buns, I have played zombies easily for over 60 hours. After all those spins, I got 1 perkaholic and 2 wonderbars, everything else I got through events or prestige and now all that is wasted because Treyarch can't design their game properly. So that's it Activision, you beat me, I am officially over COD and will be moving on, and I won't be looking back.

Want to know what playing MW3 is like? Here's a scenario that happens constantly, you see a guy with his back facing towards you, you start to shoot him. You put about 6 bullets in his back, he turns around and starts shooting you. You somehow die cause the damage output is literal dog vomit. Rinse and repeat and that sums up the experience with this glorified, trash, most unnecessary call of duty. Oh, sorry I meant DLC, cause that's what it is, and that's what it should've been.
