Planet Zoo

The game is very fun, and I believe anyone who likes management sims (or not maybe) will thoroughly enjoy this game. One of my favorite parts is that each animal feels so unique not just in their needs but in their behavior and animations as well. It's also quite good fun to meticulously plan out your zoos layout to be conducive to good foot traffic, as well as to take hours to build gorgeous habitats for your animals that seem like something that would be in an actual zoo. I found that medium in franchise mode is a good difficulty level and I have no problem keeping my zoo afloat. My only complaints are that some of the animals in the DLC should have been in the main game but were probably planned to be dlc during the main game's development and whenever you get disconnected during franchise even just for a second you get immediately booted back to the main menu (the game saves for you when this happens) and then you have to reconnect and reload your whole game which with a larger zoo can take minutes, so maybe don't play franchise mode if you have spotty internet.

Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 is a good game when it comes down to gameplay and the story, but on the switch, the game looks like someone threw up everywhere. Did warner bros. put any effort into the port at all, I am not a stickler for graphics but it just looks so so bad. Also, the krypt is one of the worst looking places and the framerates there are unplayable. DOOM 2016 was on the switch for goodness sake, it's clear warner bros. did zero optimization. Plus you can't actually play the game unless you are connected to the internet, which you know isn't too great for the switch. There is also a 40gb download if you get the physical edition, great job warner bros. Oh yeah and um, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EASY FATALITIES WHICH IS AN ACCESSIBILITY FEATURE. The game is laden with predatory microtransactions. I would give this game a zero but then I remembered I had a lot of fun fighting, as the core gameplay is actually pretty great. And the story is great with cutscenes I loved watching, that reminded me of a schlocky action movie except better (the voice acting is really great.) I regret buying this game but you might not, as it would probably be more fun on other platforms.

Civ 6 is great on the switch and it seems like they really put in the effort to make it the best it can be on the switch, the controls feel fluid switching through menus and such and there was absolutely no graphical downgrade and you get good framerates. Civ 6 itself is good at keeping you busy managing systems while not being too complicated for everyone to enjoy. If you like strategy games this would be great for you and you can often pick it up on sale for 30$ or less, so buy it then. Civ 6 has hours upon hours of gameplay to partake in with endless combinations of victories and because the maps are procedurally generated, (you can play on pre-made earth if you want.) This would be a good game for a very, very, very, very, very, very long road trip as it is just as fun in handheld mode. There is also a great hot seat (local co-op) mode that got added into the game in a recent update, which has you and a friend or family member taking turns each playing as different civilizations in the same world. My only complaint is that you can't play as any native American civilizations like the najavo, dakota, or inuit people besides the Aztecs.

Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition

So much fun sniper elite 3 on switch is. The story could be a little more inspired but the gameplay is just simply so fun that it more than makes up for it. Incredibly realistic bullet physics that make sniping fun, with a brutal x-ray cam that rips through bones, organs, and muscles in a realistic manner being your reward for a successful shot. You aren't just limited to sniping your enemies either, you can stealth or go in guns a-blazing. You will be surveying each area with your binoculars and carefully choosing the best method for dispatching your enemies. All the weapons feel very different and good. You can customize your loadout extensively even modding your sniper rifle, with different scopes, reticles, stocks, triggers, and barrels, which again all feel very different. The maps are laid out like little mini open worlds, if you have ever played hitman you will know what I mean, with optional quests and collectibles. The game is very optimized for the switch and performs amazingly, which is a feat because it has to manage all units across the entire map, and the game looks great on the switch and the framerate is good, and never drops below 30 fps even in heavy combat. The motion controls are also very well integrated and are almost as good as keyboard and mouse(definitely better than any other controllers without motion controls) Stealth mechanics are also very good and fun with higher-level enemies spotting you quicker, you throwing a rock to distract enemies, enemies spotting you slower in the dark, or if you're in foliage. Very good and fun stealth. There is also a fun co-op mode to play with a friend who has a switch and a copy of the game, which makes the game even more fun, with you and your friend tag-teaming enemies. There is a competitive online sniper battle mode which is fun but I wish there was matchmaking and you didn't have to join or make a server. Plus there is a wave mode with you alone or you and a friend seeing how long you can survive with waves of enemies in increasing difficulties. Definitely worth a buy on the switch, (I would buy this even if I couldn't play on the go.) It will crave an itch for a stealth game, a sniper game, or a world war 2 game wonderfully. Definitely one of the best stealth games on the switch.

So good, just so good. A truly amazing story of anxiety and depression. The gameplay is also crazy good as well and is tight and rewarding. Great soundtrack. Great art style. Definitely one of the best indie games on the switch. If there is a perfect game this is it.

I would give this game a nine if it wasn't for the idiotic ai. But it's still a really great funny hospital game. That any games who love micromanaging things, as well as casuals. Could also use a couple features. Good game though.

Great game for anyone who loved the original dark souls and would like to pick it up on switch to play portably, or anyone who has ever been remotely interested in dark souls, (it's better than it looks trust me.) obviously the combat is incredible, and will have you getting better and better to beat that challenging boss. One of the features non dark souls players might not know about is how well designed at interconnected the world of lordran really is. Definitely deserves a buy.

Revenge of the bird king is a platform with okay gameplay very reminiscent of the bounty of platformers no one remembers on the nes. While the gameplay is pretty okay, the game is brutally punishing and unfair. And it's not fun hard like dark souls it's a frustrating **** there's are no save points in the levels, which are too long to begin with. Oh by the way the boss fights are basically impossible bullet sponge shooting sessions. Also the story tries to be funny and charming. But it just comes off as cringy ,frankly. Do yourself a favor and play a different retro platformer.

If you hate yourself, buy this game! Incredibly few part choices, terrible frame rate, and insane difficulty spikes. I wonder if anyone even play tested this pile of trash mascarading as a game. Some levels are downright impossible to meet all criteria on even if they call themselves "novice". I got this at 90% at $1.40 and I still highly regret buying this load of crap. Don't buy this game unless you hate yourself.
