Pros: - Beautiful visual style, still holds to this day. - Great story, lore, and characters. - Good music, although the volume is too low at times. - Good puzzles, and dungeon designs. - Good boss designs, and cinematic moments. Cons: - Tedious sailing mechanics, repetitive content, and mostly easy combat. - Repetitive slow dialogs. - Forced linear start. - The ghost ship chart hunt is too confusing to figure out. - Partly clunky controls. - Some hints and explanations are unnecessary.

Pros: - Great story, atmosphere, and emotional depth. - Great art direction and graphics. - Good music. - Good boss fights. - Unique sense of urgency and pressure. - Optional "easy mode" melodies. - Big room for creativity and experimentation. Cons: - Clunky controls and bad camera, especially in multiple-enemy battles and fast paced movement. - The game requires so much pausing for item switching. - Some puzzles are overly confusing, while others hold your hand too much. - Some deliberate time-wasting challenges with low creativity. Conclusion: The game can get more frustrating than enjoyable at times, because the cons directly diminish the pros. If you want to have traditional fun, play Ocarina of Time instead, but If you want something unique and different —fun in its own way— then this is absolutely it.

Hard but fair. The gameplay is fast-paced and nuanced, offering a deeply satisfying experience once you master its movement. The world is vibrant and full of life, and the music is absolutely breathtaking. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — even the standard controller vibrations were thoughtfully crafted, making the simplest actions feel unique and immersive (like the gentle purring of the Bellbeast when you approach it). Well done, Team Cherry — you’ve truly outdone yourselves!

Almost 10/10 if only the main route was more challenging. Other than that, it's a masterpiece.

A fantastic tribute to old school Zelda games, albeit with its own charm & unique aesthetics.
