Resonance (2012)9
Aug 18, 2012
Resonance, a game developed by Widjet eye games and XII games is one the most immersive and breath-taking game i've ever played! I finished it in two days cause the story and the way that is explained and told to you is done in a perfect way. The puzzle are tough yeah, but not impossible (if you're looking for "impossible puzzles" play Grim Fandango) you just have to you use your brain to get around difficulties! The short/long memory system is innovating and a very, very nice way to dialogue between characters and NPC. In my opinion, this is way better than grim fandango and also slightly better than Moment of Silence. My advice? BUY IT in order to support indies, you wont be disappointed!

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines9
Nov 2, 2011
Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines isn't a roleplaying game! i would say it is a FPS adventure with dialogues with NPC characters that make the game experience more rewarding. The character development system is well sorted out. The combact system is based on real time even if you're accuracy and both damage with melee or fire weapons are determined by your skills. The musics are really good and well chosen for the game dark atmosphere. A game well done produced by Troika Games (that has also produced Arcanum). The mission in the hotel was really creepy and one of the best level in the game! Sure a game that has to be bought!

The Operative: No One Lives Forever9

A truly masterpiece... I really loved everything of this game from the strange spy gadgets that Cate can use to the musics of the game. The AI of the bots is way better of the one used in nowdays games (just look at deus ex human revolution AI of bots... )
What else to say? It's one of the few games (like deus ex, system shock 2, planescape torment) that you have to play before you die.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution7
Sep 19, 2011
Deus Ex Human Revolution, well at first i've thought it was going to be a **** but playing it I realized that the game is actually good, of course sometimes the game becomes boring cause 80% of the game is about hackhing that and this. Several features i don't like about the game: the alarm, detection system of the AI: bots are really stupid and they don't represent a threat (you just gotta have to use any weapon with the a silencer attached); the takedown system: while you takedown an enemy (by killing or neutralize him) the game froze and the other enemies near you literally stands and look at you taking down the target... very disappointing. Hacking system is good, i really like it but why hacking is improved by augmentation and not skills ? (like in Deus Ex 1 where hacking was considered as a skill).
Overall the game is not bad, (considering that nowdays games are firstly produced for consoles, and consoles HAVE RUINED gaming experience) sure it dosen't compete with Deus Ex 1 but it is way better of Deus Ex 2... My advice: play it!
