Worst. Bioware game. Ever. At least Mass effect 3 did a pretty good job of covering up its crappyness. With dragon age 2, however, bioware seemed to think it a rather amusing joke to throw as much said crappyness as possible at their consumers, AND BOY WAS THERE A LOT OF IT!! First off, the only two characters in the game that were even marginally interesting were the antagonist, and Varric, the dwarf without a beard!!! Nobody reacted to ANYTHING you did (EX: stealing from a guard, using magic RIGHT. IN FRONT. OF TEMPLARS, drawing your weapon in public, etc. I thought this series was going to evolve, not devolve). It`s not a living, breathing world like ME1s and DA:Os were: it`s a bland, empty, artists nightmare filled with carboard cut outs in place of NPCs. The facial animations are terrible. Half the NPCs look like they had their faces partially melted, and the elves looked like **** little fairy creatures. bu-but the protagonist is fully voiced!! Whoopdie. Fu--ing. Doo. Does it make up for the other 98% of the games bad parts? But the combat is more action oriented! Did dragon age ever NEED to be a mindless hack n slash?! Did it ever need to be something so witless that only the hapless little lab monkeys at EA games and Activision would find it enjoyable?! Somethings rotting in the state of bioware and it has a name: Electronic. Goddamned. Arts. Dragon age was, WAS, the spiritual successor to Baldurs gate and Neverwinter nights. But now it`s a final fantasy wannabe, complete with final fantasy rejects (Fenris. Nough said). Who in their right mind would give this game a score any higher than a 3/10?! Oh, that`s right: the bought and paid for game ''journalists'', if that`s what you want to call them. Personally, i think a more appropriate term for them would be: corporate spokespersons. Pay no attention to those pravda rejects. This game is NOT AN RPG by ANY stretch of the imagination: it`s a witless hack n slash for six year olds, and should be burned in the streets along with similar games like mindjack and, lets count sand (okay, i made that up, but you get the point). Unless you`re six years old and don`t know any better yet, DO NOT buy this game!!

The last dying gasp of the bioware that made KOTOR and Baldurs Gate. Dragon age: origins is the perhaps the best RPG of the decade (and this coming from a mass effect 1 fan). This game once again proves that next to story quality: graphics mean nothing. And damn the story delivers! I haven`t seen writing this superb since KOTORs 1 and 2. Here`s my recomendation: If you like story oriented, well written RPGs that require a little of your patience: Dragon age origins is the game for you.

My hatred of TOR does not stem from the fact that it was a bad WOW clone, or even that it was so repetative and boring. No, my hatred of TOR stems from the fact that bioware turned KOTOR, perhaps the most classic star wars series ever, into A **** MMO!! Instead of just giving us KOTOR3 like they SHOULD have, bioware instead opted for the crowd that would give them the most money. Bioware has no artistic integrity left. They sacrificed it on the alter of greed. Expect more TORs and ME3s from now on. The days of Baldurs gate, KOTOR1, and Dragon age: origins are over.

When i heard about the extended cut DLC, i thought to myself: cool, they`re going to fix the endings! Then i read where ray muzyaka stated that the EC was little more than an explanation for what happened, and not an actual fix. And proceeded to break my copy of ME3 in half. I don`t care what bioware ''tweaked''. I don`t even care what they added. An explanation was the last thing ME3s ending needed. If my dog takes a s--t on the sidewalk, i don`t explain to the poeple who stepped in it why he did it: i clean it up. For christs sake, why didn`t they just go with the indoctrination theory? It would have at least preserved the integrity of their series, and would have won back many of its former fans. As it stands, there`s no future for the mass effect universe. The god childs continued existence ensures it. Good job casey hackson!

First off, i would like to point out that the ending has been talked about to death. So instead of pointing out how it committed story telling suicide (which it did), i`m going to focus on the rest of the game. 1. The Intro. Seriously, WHY would shepard, the renegade badass (in my playthrough) just sit around WAITING for the reapers to arrive for those few months in between ME3 and arrival? That doesn`t seem very shepard like. And why should i give a sh-- about some random kid? Verdict: bad writing. 2. Cerberus. So, a rogue terrorist organization goes from having only a hundred and fifty members just a few months ago to being the empire of star wars with almost limitless troops....... Yeah, sure. tell me another one, casey. Verdict: bad writing 3. Kai-lang. I have never been so annoyed by an emo **** of a video game character as i was by Kai-lang. As razorfist, my favorite youtube reviewer put it: if for the past decade the illusive man had access to a gravity defying emo space ninja with a katana that slices through mother f---ing planets, and with magic plot device powers that allowed him to track the movement of every sentient being in the galaxy, then why in F--K would he resurrect commander shepard?! Verdict: bad writing 4. Harbinger. Did harbinger just say screw it and go on a fishing trip when it came time for the invasion? Why was he portrayed as the ultimate badass reaper in ME2 only to be given a rediculous cameo in ME3? Verdict: bad writing 5. The ''arrival'' of the reapers. Okay, stop me if you`ve heard this one: Why did the reapers cross the void? To get to our galaxy, you gleefully respond. But HOW did they get to our galaxy? That`s right: They couldn`t have. Remember ME1? Remember when we stopped saren from activating the citadel so that the reapers could pour through? Remember the arrival DLC, where we blew up an entire solar system to stop them? So answer me this: if all the posible relays the reapers could have used were destroyed: HOW. IN. FU-- did they get here? Answer: they didn`t. Verdict: laughably bad writing 6. So the quariens go to war whether you pushed them towards it or not in ME2. And the point of having the option to say: good luck in the war, or: The reapers are coming, i`m going to need every ship i can get was.......? Verdict: far too heavy an emphasis on the illusion of choice, and not enough emphasis on MEANINGFUL choice. 7. The god d--n kid. I know this has been voiced at least a million times, but i`m going to say it anyway: why should my character, who has seen hundreds of innocent men, women, and children being liquified into a human reaper give even a marginal sh-- about ONE KID? They might as well have had giant flashing letters on my screen that said: FEEL SAD NOW. Verdict: atrocious writing And my verdict for the entire game is: Terrible. The most badly written game in the series with the most badly written ending in the history of video game trilogys. Don`t buy it. Not even if it`s in the bargain bin. EA doesn`t deserve your money or your time.

After being tricked into buying the horridly boring Disciples 3, i had to go back to Disciples 2. Even after seven years of letting it sit on my shelf and playing much more graphically advanced games like Elder scrolls: oblivion and and Mass effect, Disciples 2 STILL manages to **** me into its world. Certainly, it`s a Might and magic ripoff, but `im okay with that, as D2 took just enough from it to be interesting and did its own thing. If you`re into deep turn based games that require your patience and greatly rewards it, then Disciples 2 is for you If you aren`t, you`ll probably get bored with it. And the king returned from his holy quest, and cried triumphantly: Behold! I have found a treasure long buried! And the people rejoiced! And there was much feasting, and singing, and merrymaking.

Before i bought Disciples 3, i never in my wildest dreams would have thought it would be bad enough to make me want to uninstall it so i could re-install Disciples 2. Unfortunately, that`s EXACTLY how bad this unoriginal borefest was. Basically, everything that gave D2 any fun and replay value was ripped out in D3 for the sake of making the environment ''prettier'' and so the level designer wouldn`t have to work as hard. You can no longer import your hero. The battles have been reduced to a level of boringness (word or not, it works here) i didn`t previously think possible. Every map is the exact same rinse and repeat scenario of: take a low level hero with low level units and build them up only to have to start all over again once you complete the mission.......except with a different story each time. yay. Don`t buy it. Don`t even look at it. And if you feel the need to troll the crap out of Kalypso for releasing such an unfinished, unoriginal, and lackluster piece of **** as D3: tell them i sent you. And what appeared to be of purest silver turned suddenly to rust. And all who had invested in it wept, as they had been decieved.......
