The best Animal Crossing. The villagers are fun to talk to, Tortimer Island is fun to play with friends (I wish I had friends). You have the perfect amount of town customization. You can place Buildings and other Public Works Projects, but the town layout is the same. Because you live in this town, you don't control it (coughs in New Horizons). The whole vibe is on point.

Literally peak. It's a bit confusing, but that's by design. I love the characters and story. The boss fights are really tough, but fair. It genuinely has some of the best boss fights of any game I've played. Learning the patterns one death at a time and finding what works until you finally win is incredibly satisfying. I can't think of anything negative about this game. (Except for the Grey Mourner quest)

It's like if Pokemon decided to grow up. The typings have a full chemistry system, you have two monsters at all times, the story is incredible, the characters are well written, the monster designs are awesome, and the music is peak. It even has a built in randomizer and nuzlocke mode.
