Not the books, but pretty damn close. The story itself is worth the investment. Excellent adaptation. A quality production reasonably good acting. Call me a fan!

The show is entertaining, but if you are going to have a show with drama or suspense, you can’t continually have your characters do nonsensical things. Your plot can’t be something that hasn’t been given critical thought. The writing in this show is some the worst I have ever seen, but I keep watching because it is entertaining. I’m invested in 2 characters despite the horrendous dialogue they have to work with, so I guess I have to give the show runners props for that. Ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody who enjoys quality entertainment. However, if you can avoid being critical and just accept the embarrassingly bad writing of this show, then you can find some enjoyment from it.
