First time I played this game was in summer of 2015 on my New 3DS XL. I can say that this is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. For about a month I was completely absorbed by this game, its world and characters. It was made with lots of love and thought. The music is phenomenal as well. Even on the small 3DS screen the whole adventure and story unfolds very well. Today the Switch Version is the best way to experience this game though.

Very disappointed with this game. The presentation is fine and mostly holds up to Nintendo standards. But it's extremely simple, only 2 buttons, A and B, are basically used during the gameplay. The platforming is not as accurate as in other Nintendo franchises. Also, aside from Peach all the characters and enemies are not from the Mario universe that we know and love, so the charm is somewhat missing here. It's also frustrating how some of the collectibles are hard to get, but because of the linear structure you sometimes have to repeat the whole level just for one missing piece. Little kids, especially girls should have fun with the game. But as an adult gamer and Nintendo fan, this just doesn't hold up.

One of the essential titles to play on the Switch. Like Super Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy it's one of the best Mario sandbox platformers. Levels are varied and colorful, there are a lot of interesting mechanics thanks to Cappy and the transformations it allows. There are a lot of moons to collect. It's not that challenging, aside from the last few levels. Highly recommended to play

Fun and challenging racing game in the style of F-Zero and WipeOut. The controls are good and the sense of speed is definitely there. Graphics are quite good and colorful too. It's no revolution in the genre of futuristic racers and doesn't offer much aside of the core racing experience, but it's a very polished game otherwise.

That game was very magical when it released alongside the Nintendo Switch. The world map is gigantic, there is a lot to do and a lot of exploration. For a whole month I was completely absorbed by this game. I found the graphics quite good at that time, the subtle soundtrack only added to the atmosphere. The gameplay is extremely fun, a lot of experimenting can be done with the physics. I played most Zelda games and this is my favorite. Even though Tears of the Kingdom is even larger and has more variety, it's BotW that introduced the new Zelda formula and made a huge impact, even as game of the year. Must-Play for any Switch (or Wii U) owner.
