Run Hide Fight8

This was a surprisingly good movie. Close to a generic Die Hard flick but good job of telling a meaningful story about an extremely raw and sensitive topic that needs more looking into. Despite being her first acting chop, Isabel May was honestly fantastic. Not perfect, not a masterpiece but great action flick. I'm glad conservatives are finally making their own media instead of just whining about Hollywood corruption and feign compassion. Look forward to see more.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens3
Apr 1, 2020
The movie thrives on practical effects, splendid CGI and great new actors which are both a breath of fresh air from the prequels. However, this movie is basically a shot for shot remake of the the original New Hope movie. The main protagonist grew up on a desert planet, the Jedi are dead, a galactic empire(2.0) is the big baddie, there's a dark robed antagonist with a robotic sinister voice, a droid needs to get to the rebellion while carrying important information, there's a death star. There's even a freaken trench run! A sequel does not retell the original story, it's supposed to build off the franchise, continuing where it left **** also hurts that this movie undid everything the rebel heroes gained in between episodes 4–5–6.
And some of the new characters where very lacking orr very bad... Kylo Ren is one of the worst villains I have ever seen in a movie, bar none. This is a man-child and I really, really don't understand his motivation. If you have parents like Han and Leia and you grow up in the resistance, I can understand being neglected sometimes. I honestly get the feeling that I could take him one-on-one with a lightsaber. I seriously wonder how the bad guys were able to build such a super weapon when it is obvious that they lack the power or the competency to pull anything like that off without Leia and the New Republic knowing about it? Why are the New Republic armies called the "Resistance" when they won the galaxy thirty years ago.
Rey, at first introduction is a scavanger girl with a giid heart(tohugh she was gonna leave BB8 behind AFTER saving him) the nas the plot progresses she comes out as annoyingly PERFECT? There's no inner turmoil,no adversity,no power struggle and no really great trials or effort on her part to accomplish **** picks up things way too quickly and it lacks the sense of someone even trying for example… How doesn't she know how to work ships when she's only been salvaging Star Destroyer parts? How can anyone remember that scene where she force mind controls a stormtrooper to basically do everything except bend over and take her lightsaber up the arse. Her lack of experience or rather suspiciously too much of it. Kylo Ren was a flawed character but at least you could tell he HAD training in how to use his powers and lightsaber — you don't put a toddler in charge of an Empire do you?
TFA relies heavily on random ass coincidences to propel its plot more than any other star wars film, even including TLJ. And it is certainly derivative and lays a shaky foundation for the new trilogy in some ways. But on the whole, it created massive potential for TLJ and the sequel trilogy to go in a new and interesting direction. TFA is a good film to enjoy but as part of a franchise the worst new addition. I feared the franchise might be heading in the wrong direction. Boy was I right.

The Omen9
Feb 8, 2020
The Omen, directed by Richard Donner (director of The Goonies and Superman) and starring Gregory Peck as Robert Thorn and David Warner as Jennings, is an absolutely fantastic promoter not alone for the supernatural-horror genre, but for the film industry itself. Due to a fabulous duo and supporting cast, all who perform exceptionally, the visually stunning violence is encapsulating and completely unpredictable. The film is a supernatural, horror film, centered on the Anti-Christ/Spawn of Satan, who takes the form of a human boy. Off the synopsis alone, you know it'll be hard to get it wrong. The film is renowned for its enlightenment on the number of Satan, the triple-six (666). Based off readings in the bible, The Omen captures the pure essence of supernatural-horror, and, despite the antagonist being a small child, it can become truly terrifying thanks to a great psychotic demon-bodyguard
One of the best finale sequences I've yet to witness and should (if it even can) not disappoint

I'm sorry, this showed just how shallow and immature she is through this documentary.

The Turning1

It's no wonder this film under development hell for decades and Steven Spielberg left production. This was nothing movie; nothing really happens in this film. No meaning, no real ending. If you plan to watch it, you're gonna ask yourself why you even bothered to see it.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines7
Feb 1, 2020
While good in its own right...Great action sequences, good new and deadlier villain, Arnold's charismatic acting of the titular character and absolutely terrific ending that give this franchise a satisfying but tragic conclusion. However, T3 misses the point of poor casting, out of place comedy and special effects that have not dated well, derivative plot, too many way coincidences that are explained by "fate" and the overall characterization of the main hero, John Connor and no Linda Hamilton.

Terminator: Dark Fate3
Feb 1, 2020
Much like Disney's Star Wars and Ghostbusters 2016, this film is a complete slap in the face to the fans of the franchise, specially at the start of this movie. What makes this worse, is that it tries to create an illusion of being something original and new. Any terminator or film expert will know that like Ghostbusters, Disney's Star Wars will see that it's just another Terminator 2. Same story, different settings. Same villain, different name. Same dialogue, different writing. Same Hero, different gender and ethnicity. None of it is new, it's just lazy writing and insult to people's intelligence. Overall an enjoyable action movie with good acting but it fails as a new Terminator film. It is a much better film than Genesys but worse than T3 and Salvation.

Feels like an action flick in a race movie. Amazing performances and effects. It feels like an unique movie about friendship, passion and talent.

A breath of fresh air away from the awful Bayverse. This film feels like a real Transformers film with excellent action(that you can see), lovable human character and recognizable characters in the beginning of the film.
I pray this is the first step to making a good Transformers series closer to the originals with G1 style characters.

Joker9
Jan 13, 2020
I'm honestly torn between giving this film a 9 or a 10. Fact is this however, this film is Todd Phillip's freaking masterpiece! It's beautifully shot, scored, and acted. The story is compact, effective, well paced and a powerful ending. There is an excellent mix of reality and his delusions which leaves the viewer guessing(one of my favorite parts). There are some downsides that the character may be too sympathetic. That’s not the Joker from The Dark Knight, Dark Knight Returns or Killing Joke. Sure, he may eventually be the villain we know in the comics. But this isn’t the Joker we know. This is the Joker you sympathize with, and that makes Joker less scary. Disturbing, but not scary. The people he killed “deserved” **** did they???Overall, this amazing origin story of an iconic comic book villain with a hint of a Scorsese style is a film that nobody deserves, but the one we needed.

Black Christmas3
Jan 12, 2020
When is Hollywood gonna understand...NEVER to hire activists to make a good movie. Literally almost nothing happens in this films... one person dies at the beginning that's the only thing interesting. The rest is just the preachiest movie ever second to the Last Jedi. It feels like this film was focused on political messaging"Fight the patriarchy" than actually being a genuine good horror flick. The killer element was weak compared to classic horror icons like Jason,Leather etc. Also, making the characters into action hero bad asses that fight back makes the film less scary. This film does the original film injustice...Black Christmas it was a boring movie with bland preachy characters who u would want to see them die, crappy dialogue with some good imagery. A social justice movie mascaraing as a horror movie.
I will repeat myself...stop giving activists a job or otherwise have them focus on story first, character second, politics last!
