The good: Obvious Earthbound inspirations which is great if you like Earthbound. The combat system is presented visually similar to Earthbound but is mechanically unique and interesting with a wide variety of citizens to recruit each with unique play style and abilities. The world is detailed, colourful and interesting with lots of things to see and explore. The characters and story are decently written with good comedy. The bad: The game doesn't do a good job of describing what exactly you have to do, I realize this is an inspiration from older games but if you're going to be inspired by old games do the good thing not the annoying things. There's a part where you're required to write down clues. Once again, if you're going to be inspired by old games leave out the nonsense that was bad back then too. Way to many enemies that aren't really worth fighting making it frustrating to complete a task. The game has crashed a couple times for me.

i haven't played this yet but looking at the other user reviews at least 10 of the 0's are the same guy on a bunch of accounts, based on the grammar. so I'll give it a 10

amazing graphics and visuals, great characters and a nice story. but the real great thing about vanquish is the game play everything about it is good, one of the best shooters out there. the story might be short but with the scoring system and god hard mode unlocked after you beat the game it has more than enough replayability to be totally worth it.

i found this game extremely fun, the environments are beautiful and i didn't find it overly repetitive. the story is great as are the characters. the only problem is the combat with the enemies waiting and taking turns to be stabbed but its easily ignored. the exploration is great, i'm sure most of the negative reviews are about the drm not the game itself.

i cant play for too long before turning it off because its so intense, it sets up an amazing atmosphere, along with great graphics and near perfect game play it really is a great game that no one should miss.

Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale is an unexpectedly fun and challenging game with both RPG and store management features. definitely a good buy and a great game.

Another pathetic money grab from activision. There's nothing innovative or fun about this version don't bother. Why on earth wasn't infinity ward used on this version? Treyarch is terrible. Remember when they released World At War?
