One of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. Cinematography, acting, music, action, story…all 100% on point. This is what we wanted! Watched it 4x in theaters and now on Paramount+! Don’t miss out on this!

Barely tolerable. It took 3 sittings to watch this. I don’t know what other people are thinking when they say it’s as good as the original. It’s just a terribly made, yet well shot I’ll admit, woke film. They stretched the reality too far to get The Message into the story. I like a lot of Sarah Connor and Ellen Ripley types of characters. Many. But they need to be believable within the confines of the written universe they are in. Those women were amazing because they overcame insane things and didn’t have time for woke points. I do not recommend this movie. I won’t say specific scenes but just check the CGI/VFX even. The best part will make you laugh.

Idk what to say. Huge fan of everything Matrix. Even a defender of Reloaded and Revolutions. I played the games, I’ve bought each iteration from DVD to 4K…yet this movie…this is not a Matrix movie to me. This was a parody. The acting, the lighting, the choreography, the script, the overall story all failed. I went and watched the original after watching this and literally on 4K the 22 year old movie looks better. This was…a waste. Id rather it had never been made. I give it a 3 instead of a 0 simply because I love the Matrix, but there isn’t much to love here.

The best Spider-Man movie, best origin, and what really laid the foundation for all the superhero movies we have today..even if a lot of them vary in quality due to character changes for social reasons, etc. This was so well acted that even when it should feel cheesy, it doesn’t. Sam Raimi is a genius, the actors are great, and this movie along with the sequel are top notch.

The plot had more holes than swiss cheese. While I don't expect the best from these movies, I do expect they asstay consistent within their already established fictional world and the rules therein. This movie did not. It was as if powers and characters were created out of lazy writing rather than to add to the narrative. One character instantly revitalized himself and later gained the ability to fly when there was no ability ever before. Would of been useful earlier in the movie. Guess he forgot he could do that. Three hours was too long. Yet, almost felt too short since that time was mismanaged. There will be expected character appearances with zero explanations. I am writing this to save people some money. I saw this at the 8pm Premiere in RPX Regal Theaters. Firs toff, the uptight, liberal and politically correct critics are very wrong about this movie. He plays Riddick as Riddick has always been and it shows how wimpy a socidety we have become for this to "offend" so many delicate sensibilities. You can't go to a Riddick movie and fairly judge it if you are a "The Notebook," type of person. This is hardcore SCIFI(thankfully as it has been too long since we have had one), it is Adventure, Action, and even has a bit of comedy. I give it a 10 to offset the pathetic people slamming it because it has too much "machismo." Put simply, if you enjoyed Pitch Black(especially) as this is more like that) and like the Riddick character, then do yourself a favor and go watch this! If you don't like exciting scenes with monsters, gratuitous violence, men acting like men(hey they even had PC scenes for the feminist crowd- a woman beats a guy down improbably several times, but he really deserved it. So it is simply, if you like Pitch black, if you like horror, thrillers, scifi, and action then do yourself a favor and go see this. Don't listen to biased critics whose own reviews impeach themselves as being against this movie before they saw it. I would give this an 8.5 btw and Pitch Black a 9.5 were it not for the horrible and FALSE reviews, so I gave it a 1.05+ to tr and even out these BS reviews. Thanks to Metacritic though for allowing people to speak out when the critics unfairly target their hated genres/actors, or whatever political beliefs they have that remove all impartiality from their reviews and make it about feminism and such. To me, this wasn't as good as Pitch Black, but it was GOOD. Remember this too, Vin put his own money on the line because he wanted his fans to have this movie. A tip: this isn't a spoiler, but hopefully will save you some time: there is nothing after the credits so don't feel stupid like I did and sit there until the credits end. :) SCIFI IS BACK BABY!!
