Kirby and the Forgotten Land3
Apr 1, 2022
Very lacking, repetitive and the addition of dynamic music with really slow and unskippable scenes that you already watched 30 times already made me dislike this kirby a lot. Sure, you can argue past games has the same "unskippable cutscenes", but this one takes it to a whole nother level. For a casual playtrough main story only, that's okay but for someone that tries to go 100% it's very annoying. The bosses are easier than ever, and overall the entire game feels like if I was in early game 24/7 Nintendo was aware of this which is why they locked the true ending into re-visiting the entire 10 hours story all over again like same layout but a diferent palette + thougher enemies just to get the exact same ending as before with even more boring bossfights. Idk chief, I feel like I had enough already.

Everytime someone mentions this game, sparkles go through my eyes. It's incredible how fun it is, specially when playing against people with an equal ammount of skill, because winning stops being a goal and it ends up being a challenge on wether we can pass the level with all the obstacles we did or not, and the devs keeps adding stuff to make already placed objects more deadly, it's **** amazing. I just wish the game was free with microtransactions or something, which it's an unpopular take, but I really wish everyone played this game.

My favorite platformer of all time. The mechanics are simple, and the level design is magnificent. it is quite exhausting going for the 100% (mainly because of the carts) but other than that, this game is awesome.

I don't even meet minimum requirements and the game runs amazing. It's packed with content and it's all good. It's incredible how big the legacy dungeons are, Stormveil Castle, the first one, took me an entire day to clear out 100%. NPC Questlines are very easy in a good way, as they're hard to find, but you don't fail them as easy as in other games. Hell, I don't even think I failed a quest yet and I literally beat the final boss. It's as close as a perfect game as it can get. it does have some flaws here and there, but it's compensated by the quality of everything else. Only thing I dislike is the last 5h of the game only because they're exhausting. It's like the final boss of Sekiro but for 5 hours straight with some breaks, yet not enough. Don't get me wrong, it's really cool, but it dragged for too long, and it's not like you would go farm somewhere then come back stronger at the literal end of the game, natural instinct is to keep pushing, it's the final afterall.

I knew where the story was going, yet I still cried a ton. Amazing game with a wonderful story and the puzzles were fun too.

Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box9

One of my favorite Layton games. Despite not having a tear-jerking story, the Quality of Life changes it brought stayed upon the series, and the puzzles are by far the best. In my opinion, best soundtrack of the original trilogy.

Despite having a deep place in my heart for being my first Layton game, it dated quite a lot in the gameplay. Puzzles are mostly math and the game is very "green" compared to the other entries. One of the weakest, yet still in my top 3 Layton games in terms of story, despite its weakness compared to later titles.
