Somehow feels very disjointed in every aspect. Battle system is a mess about who gets stunlocked, half of the skills trees ain’t necessary and are kinda cryptic. Story is between unremarkable and bad. They say some developers who left tales of phantasia created this game, clearly the best stayed with phantasia which is a far superior and more cohesive experience. I don’t feel any interest in trying another game of the series, the game elements are all over the place. Bought it for 10 dlls but still I feel dissatisfied.

Could even bother myself to finish it, story it’s just too stupid. Previous two games stories also were bonkers but this one just blew it right from the beginning with apocalyptic bs. Trinity it’s supposed to be the most secret organization and yet they use trucks with their logo on it, damn how can writing be so bad. Also I couldn’t care less about Jonah. Game looks pretty but I was just rolling my eyes the whole time. Uninstalled it after a month of couldn’t get myself to give it another try.

1 was better, didn’t play 2 so don’t know about that one. Minion ghosts are boring and bosses too gimmicky. The comedy is lame. Hyper compartainmentalized, misses the sense of adventure in 1 and some floor themes are stupid. Really disliked the cat padding sections.

It ****. The nostalgia for the OG digimon world made me get it at 10 dlls and it was a waste even at that price. Same battle system as in the first one but 1000 times less charming, same can be said of almost every other aspect of the game. The maps are horribly empty and boring af. Damn how can it be so bad. Story and characters are totally lame, even the main antagonist digimon has to be the most ugly digimon design there is. So stupid. Lastly I’ll said what made me stop playing. To advance story it was required to give a digimon 20 special meats and another one requiered other 20 big special meats. Such stupid grind and chore.

As with many other games, theres something good beneath all the trash in this one. Battle system is ok. Better to play in normal and just use attacks, defense, dodge and free movement than to care about the insane amount of gear buffs and passive abilities. History is so, so at the beginning but seriously drags towards the middle and third act is a lot of padding with even worse storytelling and petty dilemma, tries to hard to not be good vs evil and turns out repetitive and ridiculous which is the main reason why i give such a low score, I just wanted it to end.

Combat is pure clunky garbage, maybe it was good in 2004 or whatever. Uninstalled after 2 hours . Good thing it is free on ps5. Never gonna get near this franchise again.

Cheap game, **** , waste of time finishing the story even for a free psplus game.

Game has very good mechanics but stupid maze levels keep you wasting your time.
