A deep, compelling drama that might not interest many but delivers satisfaction if you stay tuned 'till the end. Not used to seeing Adam Sandler in a different pair of shoes which might keep you in zone seeing something so.. odd.

Nov 15, 2011
A movie that felt like it started off with a nice climax but only to fall short of anything brilliant. One of those movies where you just HAVE to see the ending. Like poker, don't play the hand if you're not down to go all in.

One of the most disappointing animated films! There was a plain story that might even bore your kids, characters not worth remembering, and dialogue a tad bit too corny to consider giggling.

Wicker Park
6
User ScorePurpleUrp
Nov 15, 2011
An interesting romance that strives for the quote "what's meant to be will always find its way." It seemed like Wicker Park tried to attract both audiences of the Romance genre: the innocent; for the happy, mushy ending with rated-PG dialogue; and the naughty; by the misleading cover.

A bland movie that forgot to take the trash out on trash day. The acting covered the spread but the action was very underwhelming. The only memorable moment is probably the climax but that isn't too surprising.

Due Date

User ScorePurpleUrp
Nov 15, 2011
An overly hyped film by Todd Phillips (Director of Hangover) who seemed to try to take advantage of his previous success with Hangover. Due Date didn't have the same relish as Hangover, but the show is worthwhile and a good substitute until Hangover II.

Grown Ups isn't Hangover funny, but a mellow movie you can sit back and chill to. A few chuckles but no ab ripper laughs here. Not enough heat to make Grown Ups a blockbuster, but enough warmth to keep you satisfied.

An interesting movie throughout but probably could've been better. The focus was more on the females' side of the story and less on the males; irrelevant, but lets say they got too much screen time! A one sided story that keeps the reality out of the picture and bases everything on imagination.

Unfortunately, part II doesn't bring as much laughter as it did the first but it was still enjoyable. Justin Bartha's character didn't miss much as he was the smart one to leave early back to Thailand. The hype of the movie spoiled the true fun as this would've been a great ride if it were to replace the first Hangover.
