call of shooty: just give up and stop 4 in the next entry of this critically acclaimed series full of interesting and amazing storylines, we just completely remove everything that has been sacred and good about the previous games just so we can push out a tacked on battle royale game mode faster. oh yeah, also buy an 8-pixel scope reticle for $1.00, please. its time to give up on call of duty.

I've always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with Fallout 3. At first, I disliked the game for its buggy and clunky gameplay. After giving the game a chance I enjoyed it, but after spoiling myself with the greatness of New Vegas, I came back not liking Fallout 3 as much. I modded it on PC to my liking and enjoyed it for a while until it started repeatedly crashing. Despite my back and forth feelings for this game, I believe the overall feeling is positive. Keep in mind this review is based more on personal enjoyment rather complete objectivity, which is only fair because I gave New Vegas a 10. First of all, as someone who was introduced to the Fallout series through this game, I was never familiar with the previous installments until much later, which is why I believe I didn't like the game for a while. The game ditches a lot of the things that make the original two games so great. It leaves out a lot of the true RPG elements. Sure you can choose what to say, you can be good or evil, you can level up and choose perks, but you never feel like you really are your character. Fallout 1 and New Vegas do a fantastic job at making your character feel realistic and relatable which is why your actions and choices are important. You feel no connection to The Lone Wanderer. Why do I want to find my Dad? He's in the game for like 20-30 minutes, the only connection I have to him is that he's voiced by Liam Neeson. The world of Fallout 3 is interesting on the surface, with towns full of interesting characters and long questlines, but behind this is a landfill of worthless locations with nothing of interest. Half of these locations exist only to give extra Super Mutant, Raider and Enclave camps to clear out and loot. Going out of my way to explore all of these locations showed me that each uninteresting location has the same exact formula. Kill everyone inside that is a threat. Look around and loot everything that has any worth. There is no lore. There is nothing that adds depth to the world. It's all there for you to shoot and loot. Speaking of shooting, the shooting mechanics in this game are pretty bad. You pretty much need VATS in order to actually be able to shoot anything. Not to mention the lack of Iron Sights. Having to aim with the inaccurate crosshairs that barely even show where your bullet is gonna go. Whats even worse is that VATS is immersion breaking and unattractive. If you're going to turn a turn-based RPG game into a modern FPS then at least to do the FPS part right! Oh man not to mention how TERRIBLE the optimization of this game is. First of all, its a game of roulette if the game even launches when you buy it if you play on anything later than WINDOWS XP until you go into the code of the game and fix TWO LINES. Even then the game will constantly crash until you install Third-Party Mods to fix the game. Even AFTER you fix the game with mods, it still crashes after 5-10 minutes of playing. WHAT THE **** While I know I've been trash talking Fallout 3 this whole review, there is something to love about it. The characters are fantastic (even if half of them are done by the same 20 voice actors) and each questline is interesting and unique. There are things to enjoy in Fallout 3, for me it's finding small details that require me to use my own imagination to fill in gaps (even though that's not really something to credit to the developers). Would I recommend Fallout 3? No. The game is buggy, broken and uninspired. Despite me enjoying some of it, I would recommend Fallout: New Vegas or the first two fallout games

Unlike the previous GTA installments, that relied more on crazy fun and action, Grand Theft Auto 4 spends more time on developing interesting characters, a thrilling story, and a gritty atmosphere that **** you in and doesn't let go. From the realism of driving, the gritty environment of the city, the memorable characters, and they all make this game fantastic. While it takes on a more serious tone, that doesn't mean that this game is no fun. There is plenty of great times to be had in this game. The shootouts feel more satisfying than the previous installments and the car physics are such a blast. While sometimes the realism removes some of the replayability because you can't just hop on the game and start a rampage like you could in the older ones. While you can still have some fun with it, the **** insanity of Vice City and San Andreas rampages. Also, the story *really* drags out towards the middle when you're doing hit missions for the mafia and guys like that. Aside from that, the pure care and affection that was put into this game's story and realism really make it a classic.

As someone who wasn't an anime fan prior to this game, it is still an amazing adventure. Lemme give you some background. I'm not a big anime fan in the slightest. I don't diss anime, but I haven't really gotten into it. Dragon Ball and Death Note, but that's about it. So, If this game didn't get so popular, it would've never come onto my radar, and I wouldn't have experienced this greatness. But, thankfully since this game has gotten popular that means you have no excuse to not play it. It's free. Even if you don't like Visual Novels, even if you don't like anime. Even if you absolutely hate the sight of anime, give this game a chance, and for the love of god, play it blind. Don't spoil it for yourself, don't watch any videos, nothing and I promise you, it'll be worth your time. EDIT: I first wrote this review in December of 2017. Initially, I gave it a 10, which now I think it a bit much even though I still love this game. As of now, I've become much more interested in anime and I'm very grateful that this game inspired me to step out of my comfort zone. As someone who called anime "trash" and for "weeaboos" because I thought it was funny, its a big transition of character. So if you haven't at least considered trying this game because you dislike anime (even though you likely know what happens) take into consideration that I was in a similar place.

"This is like if Nintendo fired Miyamoto and announced the next Mario game as an M rated dating simulator coming out exclusively for the **** Virtual Boy." -VideoGameDunkey. But seriously this game is awful. Extremely tedious and annoying. The constant robot voice that annoys you when one of your meters gets low, the zombies are the worst enemies in the world. And did I mention this game is the most disrespectful piece of garbage that anyone has ever made? Like how do you take something that is praised so highly for its attention to plot, and makes a zombie survival spinoff of that? What f*ckin dude was like "yea what if we turn the game about corporate tactical espionage into a zombie game because everyone loves zombies 8 years ago. Also, there is the option to buy an extra save file for $10. Like 10 real life dollars. You know, the game feature that has been present in games since like the late 1990's. Next game you have to pay $15 for the options menu.

I had absolutly no fun playing this game. I was gifted this game and I really didn't want to be ungrateful, but this game is so awful. First of all, the game is so disgusting to look at. I hate to criticize a game based on it's graphics, but there is nothing pretty or nice about this game. Everything is so low quality and disgusting. I turned up the graphic settings, but then the game runs like complete garbage. The combat is the sluggish and all around horrible. You swing something and the zombie, moves closer and hits you, meaning you can't actually win combat without using the garbage bow or guns, which takes forever to get which I didn't even know was actually in the game since the game's progress moves at a crawl. The game is horribly optimized. I've only played for 6 hours and it crashed over 5 times. My items and even some stuff i built just straight up disappear. Multiplayer is unplayable. I don't have the greatest internet, but I get like 100 ping on a good game, this I get 900 or something like that when I try to play on a friend's server. I guess I can see the appeal if you have the patient of a saint and can stand the first 3 hours that move at a crawl and you can play and actual video game rather than the unfinished trash that is the first hours of this game, since the people who made this game have no idea how to actually make a video game and probably spend most of the money they get from this game on hookers and cocaine. Not Good/10

I played Vice City for the first time when I was 7 years old on my older brother's PS2. All I did was drive around and shoot at people with no real objective. I would watch my brother play through the story even though I didn't really understand any of it. I remember playing a small bit of it again when I was a bit older and I got into it and decided to buy it on steam. Boy am I glad I did. The Story We got a dude named Tommy Vercetti who moves to Liberty City after his Mafia boss buttboy, Sonny tells him too. A coke deal goes bust. His boss calls, and Tommy don't got the money, Sonny. So Tommy works for a lot of dudes and turns into scarface in 2 weeks. The Story is really good. A really big improvment from GTA 3's barebones story. This time, the main character actually talks. Tommy has some character too him, and he might not be mighty complex, he's atleast interesting. The Gameplay Although the gameplay doesn't have a huge improvment from GTA 3, it feels a lot more polished. One of my major critisims of GTA 3 was it's insane difficulty towards the end. Vice City does have a few frustating missions, but still feels easier to play and complete than GTA 3. The shooting was made easier and the driving was made smoother. Graphics and Cinematics The graphics are still 2002 PS2 graphics and aren't that impressive by today's standards, but the atmosphere of bright neon pink and yellow, makes the game a nice sight. Cinematics are actually intreging and interesting this time around and don't feel like a necessity to understand what's going on. The dialouge between the characters is very well written, which makes a lot of cutscenes memorable. Soundtrack Of course a game set in the 80's is gonna have a lot of 80's music! The soundtrack in this game is the best in the series. Even if you think you don't like 80's rock, give the stations a listen, most will still jam. Final Verdict I really like this game. I didn't feel like I was trudging through it like I was with GTA 3. I got all of the hidden packages, and I got to about 80-90% completion before deciding to play San Andreas next. This game was a blast from beggining to end! I strongly suggest that anyone that hasn't tried this game out, to do so. 8.5/10

After getting this pain-in-the-ass **** to start, the ass pain didn't stop. The resolution was garbage and alt-tabbing out of the game took forever. I installed the silent patch and some other gameplay fixing mods. Now the pain can stop. For now. The story: A guy named Claude gets shot by his girlfriend while robbing a bank. He's arrested but breaks out with his boy 8-Ball. Claude works up the ranks trying to make money and find Catalina. He works for the Mafia, the Yakuza, and others. He eventually finds Catalina and shoots her down out of her helicopter and Claude walks off with his new girl, Maria. The gameplay: Some clunky driving. Horrible driver AI since they crash into you constantly because they switch lanes with no warning. Bad Shooting. The game is heavily outdated. Most missions suffer because of this. It's either the driving or the Cartel mows you down with their M16 that will kill you in a literal second. The graphics and cinematics: The graphics in GTA 3 are meh. The game is 15 years old (holy ****) so the graphics aren't going to be that great. Even though, the game still looks good. If you get the resolution fix mod, the game looks less pixeled and you can experience the game PS2 style. The cinematics and cutscenes are alright. Although it feels really awkward when Claude walks into this guys house, he tells Claude what to do, and Claude just nods his head after doing so. Claude has no real interaction with characters, which makes them feel flat. Only in missions where two other characters interact, is where the dialogue writing shines. Soundtrack: Most of it was awful to me. I'm the type of guy that can listen to mostly anything, so that's a lot. I liked Game FM and Flashback. The Jamaican and classical music didn't fit the environment and got annoying. Even on stations, I liked, there were only 6 or so songs. So you're constantly hearing that one song that goes "We're gon give this all that we gooot, keep on risin to the top!" and it gets really annoying. Most of the time I actually just listen to Lazlow talk about stupid ****. The missions from hell: The last about 10-15 missions are so ball burstingly hard, I almost skipped this game and went to Vice City. -Donald Love's Missions - Liberator Save some old dude from Cartel. Sounds easy until they tear you apart with M16s. Donald's Mission - Waka-Gashira Wipeout Kill Kenji, a leader of the Yakuza gang (also the guy you worked for) to start a gang war between Yakuza and cartel. You can't leave your car (since it's a cartel car and your identity will be revealed if you leave) so if the car is on fire, it's over. They shoot at your car with M16's which will destroy it in seconds, while you must drive by ONE GUY and if you fail to hit him, it's over. Donalds Mission - A Drop in the Ocean. Pick up some packages that a plane drops, while each package gives you one star. There are 6 packages. The boat controls are clunky and the water feels really weird. And when you're driving to the paint n spray (THAT ISN'T MARKED ON THE MAP) you're getting rammed with FBI cars and SWAT trucks. Donald's Mission - Grand Theft Aero Guess what, that last mission didn't matter. It was just a decoy, lol. Drive to another island you've never seen before, then drive back to the other island and kill Cartel members armed with M16 that will kill you damn near instantly. They're hiding around tight corners and the **** aiming doesn't help. The rest of Donald's mission isn't bad, Akuza's is though. Akuza's mission - Bait You drive around the new island, leading Cartel death squads to a Yakuza hid out so they're killed. Yeah, except the Yakuza are garbage and you have to kill them yourself at the death squad, or else they get away. Akuza's mission - Espresso 2 Go! One of the hardest in the series, trust me I've played them all. You drive around THE WHOLE MAP in 7 minutes. AND THERE IS NO FULL MAP ONLY A MINI MAP AND YOU HAVE TO DRIVE AROUND BEFORE DESTROYING THE COFFEE STANDS BECAUSE THEN THE MARKERS DON'T SHOW UP F*CK THIS MISSION! Akuza's Mission - S.A.M Another one of the hardest in the series. You blow up a plane mid-air in a boat. You have to STOP the boat. And aim your rocket launcher, if it misses, tries again. Or you could cheat in a tank and blow the cartel and police to Kingdom f*ck and get it over with. But what there's more!: There are some nice side missions in GTA 3 that are nice. Hidden Packages that give you weapon pickups outside your safehouse per 10 collected out of 100. The map is small and easy so it's now that bad. Paramedic - Pick people up and drive them to the hospital in a timelimit, and you can't crash. If the Mafia hates you, good f*cking luck since now they got shotguns that blow you to kingdom f*ck. Do I recommend the game? Yeah. As much as I hated the end missions, I had fun getting the collectibles and a lot of the earlier missions. I recommend on sale or even at its normal price

A sweet and short hack and slash Metal Gear spin-off. Doesn't follow the Metal Gear formula at all, but it's a spin off game. It's about Raiden who is now a cyborg and he kills stuff with a dope sword. The story isn't deep like normal metal gear but is pretty cool to play now after Donald Trump has one with his "make America great again" slogan is said by Senator Armstrong. And this game came out in 2014. You did it again Kojima. You predicted the future once again.

The greatest game of the franchise. The gameplay, story, and characters make this game the best PS2 game, period. Although I do not recommend the original version since the camera is quite bad, the Subsistence version fixes it (also the HD collection does). I borrowed this game from my uncle for the PS3 about 2 years ago and I got to the Goodsprings or Powder Ganger decision and I picked the Powder Ganger one on accident and then I said "man f*ck this why would you want to pick that, that's so stupid" and then I played Fallout 3 and really liked that. After I learned how the fallout formula worked I went back to Fallout New Vegas to play it again. To put it simply. I have roughly 250 hours on the PS3 version and 180 hours on the PC version. The reason why I have so many hours on this game and why it's my favorite game of all time is that it's a perfect RPG. A game that allows you to play almost however you want. Fallout 4 was a garbage RPG for these reasons: It didn't let you play as whatever you wanted. Fallout 4 was restricted with it's roleplaying. Had a voiced character and backstory. Fallout New Vegas DOESN'T have a voiced character. Fallout New Vegas DOESN'T have a character backstory. Fallout New Vegas DOES have great RPG elements. I have 180 hours because of the replayability the game has because you can play as so many different things. Wanna be a goody two shoe character? You can. Wanna be a cruel despicable marauder? You can. Wanna be a flawed chem addict/alcoholic? You can. Wanna be a guy with an identity crisis that can't decide right from wrong and can't decide between NCR or Legion? You can. I so far have had 4 playthroughs on the PC (Yes Man, Mr. House, NCR, and Legion playthroughs) and 6 PS3 playthroughs and I still can't get tired of this game (the only reason I don't play that often anymore is because I modded it to death and it crashes too often). If you've played Fallout 3, and never played 1-2 you'll probably like New Vegas. If you've played 1-2 and hate 3 you'll idolize New Vegas. If you liked Fallout 4, shame on you. If you hated Fallout 4 and want Obsidian to make the next one, you'll idolize New Vegas. If you love the Elder Scrolls series, you'll love New Vegas. Although the game is my favorite game of all time it certainly has some flaws. The combat is clunky. The graphics are kinda ugly and the voice acting is very **** game crashes a lot and runs poorly like most Bethesda games but most of this can be fixed with mods. Oh my god mods. Mods. There are SO MANY MODS FOR THIS GAME. And if you dislike almost anything in the game, mods are there for you baby. Final Verdict: If you're a fan of RPG this will be the best game for you, but if you're looking for a shooty shooty game, I'd go for Fallout 4. New Vegas isn't for everybody but there is a special somebody for all of us, and for best of us, it's New Vegas. 10/10 for sure
