Unfathomably boring. It's absolutely unbelievable how overrated this is. All the starting decks are pretty much the same, so until you build your deck in the first floor, all the runs start boringly similar. Managing your deck isn't all that great since you can only remove cards in the shop and you get the shop only a handful of times, plus not only do you have to pay some increasing amount each time you use it but also you can remove a card only once every time you come across a shop. But even if you do tailor your deck to your liking, you can always get a bad draw and not be able to make your deck work. You'll often get a full attack hand when the enemy is about to do deal some ridiculous amount of damage, or get a full block hand when they are about to buff themselves thus you either lose the run on the spot or survive with such little health that the run is de facto over. And the enemy design is so mind numbingly boring and one noted that it drove me nuts. For the first two floors, the only differences between your battles are pretty much how much damage your enemies deal and how much health they got. But while their design gets more interesting on the third floor, their gimmicks are pushed to the extreme so much so that it completely eliminates any fun out of these encounters. You can cobble together a few good cards with strong synergy between them, only to be completely curb stomped by an enemy with the gimmick which specifically counters your deck. Overall a 3/10 at best, could be way better with a handful of tweaks but they won't ever do such a thing because people see this as the pinnacle of deck builder roguelikes for some incomprehensible reason.
