Didn't age well, and frankly always was overrated. Yes, it had a massive map, it was important that one could do so many things, all of this is true, but the story of grown men doing graffiti, riding bicycles (when you are told to), getting haircuts (when you are told to), the rough graphics and the pop up, the lame story (unless you're really into 90s rap culture, I guess)...I never could get into it. It's a shame the story ruined what could have been a great game.

Nice looking game, fast and drives well (if you like arcade style racing), now why the low rating? It gets pretty much ruined by the extreme rubber band ai and, for my taste, also the set time limits between checkpoints. You can basically park for a while, turn slowly around the next corner, and all the competitors will wait for you there. Losing them when in the lead is just as tricky, so driving skills go out of the window. All of this could still be mindless fun as the traffic and tracks keep you on your toes, alas there are pretty strict time limits so a few crashes, some of them are just down to luck, can end the race for you. I found this frankly infuriating after a while. You do get Pong as loading screen though, so I give it an extra point for that.

Very good gameplay and style, this platformer would be, perfect for children and the young at heart. Personally I found it too cute, never could get into it and ended up selling it. I think the only platform games I still own are Jak III and Ratched III (they feature guns, alright), oh and a Pac Man one, so I guess it's just not my favourite genre. It is a very good game though for what it is.

Could have been great but the single player mode got pretty much ruined thanks to a turn around button. It's playable, mainly as the game seems strangely easy, but still is just a bit annoying. Talking about its difficulty, I'm far from a hardcore fighter but could beat characters in this game on the hardest setting, which was another big flaw.

Shooting stuff is fun, right? Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this game all that much. It's hectic and fun for a few minutes but gets a bit boring and isn't very involving, one reason could be that I simply don't like how it looks all that much. Too cute. I'll stick to Metal Slug, Contra and others if I feel like playing a game like this.

Grimy little fighting game. Silly, trashy and short, the first game I've ever finished in one go. Good stuff if you enjoyed the movie and want to beat up a big chested Meatloaf .
